2201  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM Alert] Coinbase Fake Giveaway. Beware... on: December 15, 2019, 04:05:37 AM
Stupid people not only exists in crypto but they exists everywhere therefore we see these scammers keep on scamming. I still see people willing to double their fiat by depositing their money to the scammers. If the whole world would become intelligent there will be no space for such scams. People are lazy and want free money, and therefore they fell in these traps.

The difference crypto has is that magic aura of infinite gains that nothing else has. Also internet anonymity and irreversibility are a beautiful gift to the scammy.

We see the same here every day but it just doesn't seem to cross many a mind.

If a bloke walked up to you in the street with a bag on his head and asked for 500 dollars cash and promised 1000 tomorrow but left no way of contacting him would you do it? Almost no one would. Yet they do it in droves in cryptoland. I do not understand why.

The problem here in crypto is that you would find a nice website and presentation that will make you think that every thing is legal and we can make millions by investing a little. As in the example, the scammer impersonate to be a coinbase site, so many will just invest in it blindly as they will think it is the real coinbase offer.

What story teller wanted to say?

OP meant that if you are a fearless gambler, your chances of winning are higher as opposed to a person who do not take big risk in gambling. Although I somewhat agree that you should have appositive mode when you play gambling and should have belief in yourself that you will win but again sometimes the luck even do not help the brave too. It will also make you lose big if you take more risky moves.
2203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: December 14, 2019, 07:06:50 PM
Muthiah Muralidharan was born in Srilanka but his origin was from Tamil Hindu community,at that period there are some wars going on among Sri lankans and Tamil where Sinhalis asked all thamil people to go back to India and killed millions of people who refused to migrate but now Srilankan Cricket board proud of having such a player. Its wall fo shame or just for political benefits. Angry

Obviously in Sri Lanka, there is a lot of ethnic tension between the minority Tamils (who are mostly Saivite Hindus) and the Sinhalese (who are mostly Theravada Buddhist). But in Sri Lanka there is a clear cut separation of cricket from politics. You will not find a single Sinhalese who won't support Muralidharan. And similarly, you won't find a single Sri Lankan Tamil who doesn't support the national team.
Dear we all are full of tension because we born in sub-continent and its almost full of tension so many ethnic groups and many little problems which can solved just in few hours and days we are living with them for centuries so we are almost 100 years back from normal world so please don't talk more about this things just love cricket and enjoy this. Wink Grin Smiley
Sorry for that because it is getting off-topic.

Millions were killed and millions were moved as refugees due to that small issue and they were still living as refugee even after 30+ years on different countries like India which is something inhumane things were done to them, treat everyone as human.Politicians getting benefits not good for the country's future.

I don't understand what cricket has to do with all this.
Every country has political issues and this is not strange for any country.
2204  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM Alert] Coinbase Fake Giveaway. Beware... on: December 14, 2019, 06:08:53 PM
I'm pretty surprised that this scam still works, is it just that there are a lot of stupid people in crypto?

Correct.

Most people who pile in have no understanding of it. All they dream of is a rising number so believe that any offering by anyone who looks faintly official will add to that cos that's 'what it does'.

It's odd how they choose to blind themselves to the humongous losses that preceded the absolute peak they usually arrive at.

Stupid people not only exists in crypto but they exists everywhere therefore we see these scammers keep on scamming. I still see people willing to double their fiat by depositing their money to the scammers. If the whole world would become intelligent there will be no space for such scams. 2205  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: December 14, 2019, 05:43:57 PM
Is it just me or is there a certain campaign by members wearing the signature of a particular site trying to discredit freebitco.in? I mean last week or the week before, some guy comes in and says the Lambo is a scam because there was no news of it ever given away. Then now another guy comes in and says countdown is a scam. Obviously, nobody checks out past history of this site before coming in with accusations. They are not newbie members either!

Freebitco in is not the only website that is under attack. There can be many reasons ... it is enough if a user loses money because he played very risky. Of course, it could be some organized campaign by a competitive website, but I think it is unlikely. Or maybe it's just a post of a regular troll or spammer.

It can be an individual bad experience which may lead to write such accusations but the false accusations will not hurt the site.
Sometimes people are unable to win the Lambo and they want no one wins it too and hence they satisfy themselves by such false statements.
Anyone who is in crypto started collecting his first satoshi through Freebitco and no one can deny this fact that it is one of the best and oldest site.
2206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: tinytutips on: December 14, 2019, 05:13:18 PM
Hi,
after a while in betting world where I tested plenty of good tipsters, I have managed to get group of one of best world tipsters whose bets are available in plenty bookies. As its higher leagues, after my stakes there is plenty room for other stakes therefore i decided to sell. Plenty of guys is always doubting in tipsters and their successes but I all I ask from you is to check my service in this period and you will see how profitable it is. We will post everyday average 2 slips/single bets with average odds 1.85-2.25. Sometimes it will be valuable info, sometimes will be some obvious selections but we have reason behind all. In November we had 25/30 from betting slips odds 2, and so far in December we have 10/12. Free service will last for 2 weeks and stats will be updated everyday.
You've two loses already! That's a very bad start to a service like this when you claim to get the tips from one of the best world tipsters. For a moment I thought I will consider following your free tips for a week and maybe think about going premium then but the results are terrible. I'd say keep posting your tips but don't expect anyone to pay for it.

Perhaps he need to change his tipster or maybe his claim of world best tipsters is wrong. I know it is not possible to predict every possible bet right but I like his honesty and boldness to tell everyone that he lost. Most people will try to hide their losses especially when they are looking to go premium for money.
2207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Daniel Jacobs vs. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. on: December 14, 2019, 05:00:58 PM
Nah, I think JCC Jr is done, there are reports that in this previous fight, he doesn't train that hard and doesn't have the mentality of his father. So I say that the odds for Daniel Jacobs is about right, and it could be an easy fight for him. Besides, JCC Jr, is no longer at his prime, probably just wanted to get a decent pay check before finally retiring.

I will be favoring Daniel Jacobs in this fight.
Chavez Jr does not even rank in the top 15 players. Most of us don't know that he is the son of the Mexican legend Julio Cesar but he does not look to be of same talent of his father. I really doubt if he can win against Jacobs.
2208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football bet of 13/12/2019 on: December 14, 2019, 04:38:45 PM
I will use this thread since title says Football 13/12/2019
Many games live right now. I'm watching Lille vs. Montpellier and Lille is looking convincing. Any other games you guys placed bets on and I still have a chance to bet live? How is Hoffenheim playing?
Lile won .
Hoffenheim bullshit.
Posting new bets today soon.

As I see here, you have lost most of the bets. It will be good if you put in the OP the result of each pick with date as it will let everyone see how many you won and how many bets you lose. Also this will make people decide whether to follow your bets or just ignore them.
2209  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The reality of Merit on: December 14, 2019, 02:16:06 PM
I've merited hundreds of Newbies and I'm not very picky, but OP isn't getting any for this post.

People don't like to read complaints.

OP, try to make others laugh, post something interesting that others did not know about, start a thread, usually opening posts get merited as long as they aren't copying old threads and asking the same questions that have been asked 10 times already.

I agree that people often merit people they know and like and people they've been merited by. This is normal human behaviour, you can't expect everything to be fair. Don't give up though!

Indeed those who complain or have negative mind set will never be able to keep up with this system and will eventually walk away. I myself have seen low rank members making constructive posts and this uneven distribution of merit indicated by OP does not exists in reality.
2210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 14, 2019, 01:29:50 PM
I don't like the Aussie skipper not talking the follow on. He would have won the match with an innings to spare and that is termed as a big win in Test Cricket.
The decision to bat was to give the bowlers some rest as  Hazlewood is injured and Starc and Cummins had to lead the bowling attack and then there is Lyon to hold one end and they need some rest as they cannot keep on bowling as they will get injured if they are not getting any rest and the decision not to enforce the follow on is understandable but they would have declared the innings a bit earlier to give a few overs before stumps rather than batting the rest of the day.

As witness in most cases, when captain takes a strange decision he has to pay for it. Australia are now struggling in their 2nd innings and have made 166 runs with 6 wickets down. Australia may still win this match because their overall lead is 400+ but this 2nd innings will shake the confidence of the Australian batsmen in next matches.
2211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 14, 2019, 09:53:17 AM
New Zealand all out for 166 runs and they did not enforce the follow on and it might be because Australia have a one bowler shot and they need to have a good healthy lead of 350 runs which they really do not need to fold the New Zealand batting line up but i think they are giving rest to their bowlers by coming out to bat and it is a good decision by the Australian captain.

I don't like the Aussie skipper not talking the follow on. He would have won the match with an innings to spare and that is termed as a big win in Test Cricket. If they want to do a batting practice, that's a separate thing but why prolong a match which can be finished in 3.5 days easily. Now how much lead will they take before declaring.  500 or even more?
2212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: IPL Mutual Pool Discussion. on: December 14, 2019, 08:52:47 AM
I did not know it's four months yet to go :-P
But trust me the time will fly very quick. I hope it worth the time. If the forum stays then hopefully we will stay too :-D
So if you are interested then let us know your interest and proposed entry fee you thing okay for everyone.
Lol. This thread surprised me too kinda like the Xbox Series X reveal yesterday since there is plenty of time left for the IPL. Anyway, count me in since I had a blast playing in the pool along with you guys the last time around.

joining fee will be 0.001BTC and if we have ten players then it will be a decent amount that goes to the winner and anyone can spare those amounts i guess.
I agree with this amount. Anything from 0.001 to 0.002 BTC(Current price) seems optimal in my opinion.

0.001 to 0.002 BTC turns out to be between 7 - 15 dollars. If you are deciding the pool amount, make it count in dollars and not in terms of satoshi.
By the time IPL will start, that is about 3 - 4 months from now, the bitcoin price could be quite high with halving coming in June.  0.001 may well be between 17 -20$ at that time.
2213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Decisions for a better life on: December 14, 2019, 07:38:45 AM
We all know that being an addicted gambler is a very tough spot in our life, but what if you need to decide what to choose, your addiction or you family? i.e., the given situation will be that you need to decide on the spot if you want to pursue your "career" in gambling or make a good simple life with your family? what will you choose?

Addiction comes in different form, some are addicted to alcohol, some to smoking, some to eating and etc. Addiction only becomes bad when you see your family suffering from your addiction. Therefore first decide what is good for your family and then think whether you addiction is making your family suffer. Then take the right decision.

Right decision is only one which is to think about your family and not about your interest and addiction to gambling. But I am afraid most people think about gambling more than their families. I have seen a few divorce happening on gambling where the husband spends too much time on gambling ignoring his wife and kids.

Thanks for the coins. I have initiated the mixing of these coins and I will update once the process is finished.

Also will keep track on how much time it takes.

I really admire your service here. When I submitted my coins to your address, it took a good time to get 1 confirmation but when the confirmation was done, the mixing happened in few minutes and I received the coins on my wallet almost instantly. Do you guys put a large tx when sending the coins because it took very less time for confirmation when you send the coins.

I will recommended this service to all those who often mixes the coins. This is the best and better service than most mixers out there.

2217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: December 08, 2019, 07:06:16 PM
~snip
1. Imagine a South African team, consisting of players such as Marnus Labuschagne, Colin de Grandhomme, Neil Wagner, David Wiese and Hardus Viljoen. They will be able to give tough fight to the big 3 teams. But these players have moved to other countries and no longer represent South Africa.

2. Imagine Eoin Morgan playing for Ireland. He's one of the best international batsmen out there now, and in case he had represented Ireland then they could have become one of the top 5 teams.

3. Imagine a West Indies team with players such as Jofra Archer and Chris Jordan.

4. Imagine a Pakistani team with Fawad Ahmed, Imran Tahir and Usman Khawaja.
If these players have not moved out what is the guarantee that they will be even representing the country they are born let alone they will be having the opportunity to play cricket, they moved out and they had the opportunity and develop their cricket and hence they are representing the teams they settled, we can speculate as much as we want but the facts are they represent the countries they are living.

We do not need to imagine these players to play from their original home because they fate is to represent another country. Just like people go to another countries to get work permit and permanent visas, you cannot just keep on thinking if they would have not left the country, what would have happened.

Sorry again, but making illogical / Strange bets can make the pool alive . How ?
If the community is small, then it will not become big by these bets. Something more logically needs to be think of.
What it could be? By the way, don't forget the fun part too. Mutual betting is fun when there are a lot of users are betting against each others.

Honestly speaking I was thinking for the last one hour to see if I could find a better way, but no better idea strike my mind. You're doing the best here.

1. Address to send your winnings: later
2. Bet amount: 0.0001 BTC
3. Your Pick: WI (just in case  Grin )
4. Tx (if any): will send, once the match is over

Look like you will take all the pool money today alone.
2219  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin halving 2020 prediction on: December 08, 2019, 04:50:56 PM
I also thought about this.
What if the price of bitcoin does not rise after halving?
what if the price is stable or down?
Well, despite the many questions after that, we still don't know the results. however, we need to try to take advantage of that opportunity. it's better than continuing to worry. look at the positives, you're trying to accumulate assets to make more. if the price goes up at that time, then your prediction is correct, if not, you have collected the assets well.

Just look at the bigger picture. It could be that near the halving , the bitcoin price may dump instead of rising or it may dump right after halving, but all those movements will be temporary as bitcoin will rise and cross all time high any time within one year after the halving.
2220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the fate of Scammers if bitcoin later becomes a traceable Currency. on: December 08, 2019, 04:21:11 PM
Bitcoin as a currency that is decentralized, they is no Headquarters for Bitcoin and it has no Central office where they distribute information concerning Bitcoin, Like illicit transactions that money was lost but recovered after some investigations through the distributed information.

like someone said on my previous thread that more people will be comfortable using bitcoin if these features comes into place.

Share your thoughts.

Before answering this question, I want you to answer me that before 2009 (When there was no bitcoins), were there no scams ? There were scams and people used fiat currency to scam even though it was traceable. Bitcoin have only helped the evil minded people who existed even before the invention of bitcoins. Those scammer will continue to exists even if bitcoins becomes traceable.
