About ghash.io: The news prompted Ghash.io to issue a statement on the matter at the time, in which the pool said:
“GHash.IO will take all necessary precautions to prevent reaching 51% of all hashing power, in order to maintain stability of the bitcoin network.”
They added that, “[their] plans are to expand the bitcoin community as well as utilise the hashing power to develop a greater bitcoin economic structure.”
“If something happened to Bitcoin as a whole it could risk our investments in physical hardware, damage to those who love Bitcoin and we see no benefit from having [a] 51% stake in mining.”

Market buy on Bitstamp That would do good for everyone. You can sell immediately if you wish after that, just send me a PM before doing it Um... But seriously, maybe you could create a contract/agreement(?) with multiple miners and have them mine for you.

After the fall of Mt. Gox ...I think this is very important Q to all Bitcoin newbies like me.
use btc-e.com for larger amounts. i will never forget the time LR (payment processor that is now dead) key was cracked and attack took place on btc-e.com every single coin that was lost, every single bad trade users made due to that hack, literaly everything was returned to user accounts on the cost of btc-e.com owner. that day they had me, never left them since. ofc use other exchangers in smaller amounts to trade /arb, but when it gets to your big holding, store them localy in your local storage, or if u have to have it online, i recommend btc-e only. cheers Why BTC-e? They have the lowest prices and the biggest fees of all the exchanges. Bitstamp is way, way better. The advantage of btc-e is that you don't need to complete verification before trading bitcoin. Bitstamp's verification process takes 1 day max. It's serious people. Plus, you don't need all kinds of papers, an ID card and a phone bill is enough. Why do you need an ID card for an exchange at all? Its the reason I avoid Bitstamp. Have you done anything wrong? If yes, then I understand. Otherwise, why not? It protects you and them from frauds.

How is the volume doing, boys? Not much, eh? Thought so.
It's double than what it was yesterday on Bitstamp. So, good for me... Working days don't get as much activity as the weekend does.

consolidation/sideways/boring is good
Noooo... I want action! We need to buy all the BTC. On a serious note: Bitstamp's volume is twice better than yesterday. Also there's a 67 BTC ask on 652.99

I hope you are right that would be great Too many people here are not patient enough to get rich. Just wait and hodl. Bitcoin = The Ultimate Get Rich Quick Scheme. Not that quick and it hard to hodl. Think about it, the people who bought coins for very cheap have some major balls to hold for this long. Many people sold when it went to 100 or even when they made a thousand bucks. When at any point it can go to 0. If you hold in this crazy market, you DESERVE the reward. Posts like these make my day. Hodl forever! Too bad I sold 300+ BTC at 40, 100 and 200ish.

I hope you are right that would be great Too many people here are not patient enough to get rich. Just wait and hodl. Bitcoin = The Ultimate Get Rich Quick Scheme. This: Bah... I missed the opportunity to sell again. Could have bought 20 more BTC.
What do you mean? Price is still near the 3month ATH Could have sold at 670. And buy back in today or last night.

Not CPU mining in early 2009 for three months until difficulty started to increase.
Three months of CPU mining would be worth around $12,000,000 today.
Did you know that the original Bitcoin-qt client mined when it was running? So, everyone who had it installed mined a ton.

The only problem with bitcoin that it haven't spread all over the world yet
The best thing about bitcoin is that it hasn't spread all over the world yet. That's what makes us innovators [But yeah, btc, please spread around soonish] We're still in an extremely early phase. No need to rush it and scare people. Let it slowly sink in and we'll see more and more of it. Each day it's better and better. Have you seen the Bitcoin ATMs that are around the world? That's a thing. And they actually get used

There were the same haters when bitcoin was less than $1. Now that the price has multiplied by 500x how many of those haters do you think have changed their tune? When the price hits $100,000 and they missed the boat, they will bash bitcoin even more still, because they will be so angry they missed out. Just makes me smile If they didn't buy at $1, it is even less likely they will buy when price is this high. A lot of people didn't even know Bitcoin existed then. People still try to adopt and buy at this price. Not many, but still... One by one.

There's dust in my wallet. This one is great, but we can't include it in the game for now because it's maybe a bit confusing to players. All your bitcoin are belong to us!
This one were already in the game from the beginning. Wow such Coin, So much Wow
This is a winner, we may edit it but we definitely will put a dogecoin meme in there! the 0.1 is yours, we'll send an account for you! I bought a single pizza with 10000 Bitcoins.
The pizza one is also great. We're still considering to put it in there! So, do I get any BTC?

bitcoin price can, and probably will surge, main reason is more and more spread, and the fact on hard cap of 21 mill btc. and dont forget one thing also; every day there are btcs sent to wrong adress that will never be claimed, they are lost for good, making the supply even smaller, and then there are wallets lost/destroyed and so on.. when another halving happens, its gonna storm money, so sticking to crypto seams pretty smart, even with those price drops we see now and then
cheers
Bitcoin can be divided to a single satpshi and o think there is enough satoshis for everybody. If 1 satoshi becomes $1.000.000 we can always edit the client to allow nanosatoshisi transactions, there is no theoretical divisability limit to bitcoin.... Here's a nice read for you: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Tonal_BitcoinCourtesy of luke-jr.
