ChartBuddy - just in time. I seriously can't believe how neutral the market is this week...

The best growth is a stable 0.5-2.0% per month I would think. A huge climb will shun people as much as a huge dip.

about 26% yearly growth, then? So far it's been rather a lot higher than that.

Yes it is, as a startup we had huge growth. Helped bitcoin get known to the public. I think we've (allmost) come to the point where bitcoin needs to proof it can be a trustworhy currency and a valuable asset.

Sorry - but Bitcoin doesn't give a shit Smiley

And huge growth will bring more money to market.  Stability is a fair way off with such a relatively small market cap.

Yup. If we hit $5000 a coin tomorrow, it can't be bad in any way.

I think we will hit stability with 5-10k per btc ..as it wil mean we have found our place in teh IRL world

real money will pour in and remove teh ability of lone operators to fuck with us as they have in teh past

Currently 1 million or 200k leveraged can move the market ....this is totally insane compared to and DOW or Forex stock, currency

We need a 10x market cap to bring the stability that teh mainstream mercantile world needs & craves Cheesy

That's not a long time away... 2015 is going to be huge!
1703  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do You smoke? tobacco/weed etc on: June 06, 2014, 10:54:42 AM
I don't smoke tobacco. I just don't like it.
I do smoke weed some times (or eat...).
when you smoke weed automatically it increases your hunger and taste of all dishes even you don't like it. I think this is a positive part of weed

Very, very positive side-effect. I love the munchies.

I don't smoke tobacco. I just don't like it.
I do smoke weed some times (or eat...).

I don't smoke tobacco  but I smoke weed sometimes too but I never tried eating It, how do you eat It, only green leaves? Or you cook It some how and does eating gives any effect like smoking weed but just weaker? And If It does I would like to know what part of the cannabis do you eat and how much, just looks an interesting idea to eat weed and I never tried It so would like to know more before trying.

You can make various edibles, such as brownies.

Stamp! haha! stamp doesn't want to go up   Grin

Calm before the shitstorm.

The weekend will probably be crazy movement and $700.

There was some talk about a person who's creating those walls so he (or she) can buy up all the offers below his and profit that way.
doesn't matter who creates them, if you're a bitcoin adopter and not a speculator its the best thing it can happen as we are getting price stability over an extended period of time, its wonderful news for us who want this technology for its properties not for speculation. Go walls go go!

No thanks, I want my BTC being able to buy a lot more.

Its called a SQUEEEZE ...when the MACD travel within the kneltner channels ...indicate that there will be a break up or break down ..

The longer it goes on the more energy is being built up ..think a steam engine .....

I think we all know which way it is going to go ...is a very bullish sign ..i.e the calm b4 the storm

So many pplz go ...so quiet is something wrong ..sorry it something right Wink

The train is at the stop. You can either board in on the CCMF train or go home.
1705  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 06, 2014, 10:46:33 AM
Orange circles are major price moves initiating smack in the middle of "Chinese night".
Must be them sleepwalking Chinamen, eh?
Check the volume plots at Huobi on those days...

But, hey, if you don't believe in China, that is fine.  I am just looking at the charts for fun, or the academic version thereof.  I hope that China pulls out from bitcoin soon, so that we have one less thing to disagree about.  Wink

We probably disagree though in a different way than you think we do.

Since I trade, and my money is on the line as result, I can't afford to ignore the influence of Chinese traders. In other words, wishful thinking that "China is priced in already" or something like that will have a very real chance to hurt me, so I rather don't hold such silly believes.

On the other, there is the equally naive notion that "the West" slavically follows "China". Which seems to be your view of the current situation. And, for the same reason as above, that analysis is so dumb, it would cost me money as well, so I rather don't hold it either Cheesy

leave the jorge bot alone ..it only results in more jorgism....Sad

Is jorge now a verb? Cheesy I'm going out for some jorging.
1706  Bitcoin / Press / Re: Ebay CEO serious about bitcoin on: June 06, 2014, 10:41:07 AM
Oh yeah, I know that, but you have all these people now doing a total reversal on their opinions about Bitcoin the moment they see them making tons of money, it's a bit like when I've seen people attacking creative people etc. when they're learning or they aren't making any money but when they hit it big all of a sudden they were with them from the very start.

Actually, I think that's a good metaphor, Bitcoin is a bit like an under appreciated artist Tongue

So if Bitcoin was to die, it would be worth a lot more? Grin Grin Grin
1707  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 06, 2014, 10:40:14 AM
Truth is, everyone is subject to be ripped off, it's a matter of trust.
People trusted to MtGox and they stole it all. I know this is a long shot, but it could happen with Bitstamp or Huobi, you can never be sure. Not that I'm saying that Bitstamp will declare bankruptcy, why would they?

Also altcoins, there really is no need in risking money with them. Maybe it's okay to mine those and exchange for BTC, but I would never actually buy altcoins with fiat. I can buy BTC instead.
1708  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: MtGox Users - What do we have to do? on: June 06, 2014, 10:33:03 AM
I got all of my funds out of MtGox on time, and switched to Bitstamp.

Sue them?

Been done. It will get you nowhere because they declared bankruptcy.

Nije mi uopće to zanimljivo...

1710  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should I Invest in Bitcoins? on: June 06, 2014, 10:25:20 AM
Yes, invest! Invest all you can afford. And buy as many Bitcoin as you can, and never sell.
1711  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn up to 2.4 BTC/Month by Posting on: June 06, 2014, 10:23:06 AM
Hmm, perhaps it would be better if there were a coefficient that Stunna could apply for longer-serving, loyal participants of the PrimeDice signature campaign.

I champion this idea because there is little incentive for users to stick with PrimeDice when a 'better' offer comes around. I've also been a part of the PrimeDice campaign for around six months, sticking through thick and thin. Yet some fair weather user can waltz on in and receive the same rate as me, despite them selling out PrimeDice in the past.

If there were a coefficient that could be applied to the final payout then that would be nice, for instance:

1 x new to two months
1.1 x two to three months
1.2 x three to five months
1.3 x six to 12 months
1.5 x 12 months +

Okay so I just plucked the coefficients out of the air, they aren't based on anything around profit and loss etc. But the principle is that people will think twice, perhaps thrice times before selling out PrimeDice for another, higher paying offer in future.
I like this idea, however it might make it harder to keep track of all payments, you'd have to know each time a user changes his signature, and so on. Would be hell to keep track of, I think.

Probably would, yeah. I find the current system pretty fair to everyone. And it really seems like it's the best signature campaign around.

@Parazyd Novi post da ne quotamo previše. Ma ja ti na ovom forumu pratim 5-6 tema i to ti je to. Dosta mi je ovaj forum neorganiziran u pogledu novih i najpopularnijih tema.

Sad rade novi softver foruma, bit ce online dogodine mislim.

We're about to find out if this 1,200 BTC wall is real on Stamps

Might as well buy it all. One would profit from it for sure... I've spent all my Bitstamp fiat these days, will have to sell some to buy more. Just don't know what would be the right time. These days are so dead.

Who knows... maybe the Chinese will buy that wall for us.

There was some talk about a person who's creating those walls so he (or she) can buy up all the offers below his and profit that way.
1717  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are your opinion about 2014 World Cup? Which team do you support? on: June 06, 2014, 09:34:57 AM
I think that most of other teams have the same problem as well.
I think just a few teams like Brazil, Spain, Germany, Netherlands... have top players on each position in their teams.
I think that Croatia have good chance to pass group and after that everything is possible!

They will pass the group 90%, only Brazil is fairly better in my opinion.
But after the group it's gonna be difficult.
1718  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: MtGox Users - What do we have to do? on: June 06, 2014, 09:33:57 AM
Wait until someone from MtGox actually says something useful. I don't think that will even happen in the near future.
1719  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are your opinion about 2014 World Cup? Which team do you support? on: June 06, 2014, 09:22:01 AM
I'll me supporting Croatia, even though they suck. The World Cup is going to be huge, but it's really unnecessary - the money they've spent in building and organization. It could've been done for far less.
Great, thank you very much!
Why do you think they suck?
I hope they can reaped result from World Cup 1998 in France.

They do not have the potential they had in 1998, there aren't a lot of great players in the team. I mean, there are exceptions, for sure, but as a complete team, I think they cannot parry other, better teams.
