You forgot about Cummins who is easily the man of the match according to me since he claimed many wickets and batted extremely well under pressure alongside Lyon who gave him excellent support.

Reminded me of one of his IPL performances where he absolutely decimated the opposition in a crazy manner.
Sometimes Pat Cummins looks like he could bat really well and turn into an all rounder and he is not using his batting talent in most matches, in T20 he has the ability to slog the ball but he lacks consistency but in this match against England, Pat Cummins stood between England's dream of winning the first match as a wicket in that situation would have changed the match as they needed 55 runs when they lost their 8th wicket.
262  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin breaking out of 2 month downtrend on: June 21, 2023, 03:27:28 PM
A lot of development today which caused Bitcoin to gain around $2000 in price. Another Bitcoin etf and also another refiled Bitcoin etf. So far there are 3-4 different etfs in total this week alone.

Also some new crypto exchange went live which is owned by Citadel and Schwab, it was announced in Sept but went live this morning.

These development are the root cause of the strong rally we just had.
I was wondering what happened all of a sudden when the price went down and then the price started to rally like a jet pack attached to move around $30k once again Cheesy. Was not aware of the ETF and thank you for the notification, looks like i am not following these market news and was not aware of the crypto exchanges as well, so another hype train exchange is launched after FTX demise  Grin.

Oman won this match and i would say it was an upset as Ireland is a much better team and I never heard of Oman cricket team before.  The way they chase 281 runs was remarkable.
On the basis of merit a team like Oman defeating Ireland is a huge upset, not sure about the odds that were available but after checking the results Ireland failed to pick wicket to put pressure on Oman and they chased the total without much sweat.

Sri Lanka on the other hand is toying with their opponents and they will be the 9th team that gets included in the World Cup, the entire competition is for the last spot and West Indies should book that spot to save face.

AUS tail end folded, I was doubting ENG decision to declare but it doesn’t look such a bad decision now. ENG started their 2nd innings well 18-0, lead by 25-0.
England should have went ahead without declaring as Joe Root was still in the crease scoring a century and Ollie Robinson was giving a good partnership. England lost their openers in the second innings Pat Cummins and Scott Boland were bowling really well with the new ball but weather has stopped play and hopefully they could regain play for the day.

Weather looks good, should be an interesting days play.
Rain spoiled the day as the match was getting interesting after England lost their openers.

I was changing my mind a lot for main event and I am still not sure who is going to win, Cannonier has reach advantage but Vettori is much younger.
Both fighters lost from Whitaker and Adesanya so this is their chance to get back up for a second chance, and I am leaning slightly towards Cannoinier but this is going to be close fight with maybe full five rounds.
Spot on prediction for the main event as i thought the fight would end in the first round after that shot from Marvin Vettori and Cannonier was able to come back from that situation was incredible, i was expecting Marvin Vettori to win the fight simply because of the age factor of Jared Cannonier who is 39 years and there is no doubt about their tenacity to never back down was evident in this fight, their gas tank was outstanding, if

I do not think that Zimbabwe will be able to win this match if Nepal does end up reaching 300. Because I trust Nepal to defend 300 with the bowling lineup that they have. But at the same time, it is looking like a good pitch to bat on. So, if Zimbabwe can keep up with the run rate and keep wickets in hand, they might be able to win. but still, it is going to be really hard.
Nepal scored a competitive total and for a moment i thought it would be a hard chase for Zimbabwe but once they started their innings those doubts were put to rest and they are cruising to victory as Craig Ervine is still in the crease scoring a century and the partnership between Sean Williams who is on 84 took the match away from Nepal.

As expected West Indies will be winning against USA as they lost their 6th wicket and the target is impossible to reach.

I really think that Yair Rodriguez was his favorite over Volkanovski, but for me, Yair Rodriguez is a great fighter he has proven that against Brian Ortega and Josh Emmett when he fight them, but for sure even though he defeated them he still not close to Oliveira, Volkanovski and Makhachev,
Yair Rodríguez is a really skilled fighter with really unorthodox style and one of the favorite fight was against Jung Chan sung AKA the Korean Zombie where he was on the verge of defeat but won the fight via knockout at the very last second of the fifth round with a reverse elbow. The fight against Brian Ortega that was not his skill instead i believe Brian Ortega was injured during the fight and he is a 145 pound fighter and Charles Oliveira or Islam Makhachev are fighting at 155 pounds Wink.

It was great night for Bellator and amazing fight between Vadim Nemkov and Yoel Romero, I recommend everyone to watch it if they can!
Sergio Pettis win against Patricio Pitbull and he proved that he is the best fighter in Bantmaweight category in PFL tight now.
The win by Sergio Pettis is a clear upset over Patricio Pitbull as Pitbull's were one of the strongest fighters in Bellator history. Missed the entire fight card, have to watch the highlights.
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why haven't anyone created a crypto currency name Merit yet? on: June 17, 2023, 05:36:14 PM
Lately i been looking into altcoins more and more since I have got some more money in my life and want to make more investments then only in BTC.
One thing I was wondering is why nobody yet have created a crypto currency under the name "Merit" yet. Smiley
What is the point of yet another alt, majority of the coins are shit coin created for pump and dump and has no base valuation and i wont be surprised if someone comes up with a coin like that to deceive users.

it's many smart people on this forum with a lot of knowledge about things like this and I think it could be a good currency to create. Smiley
The forum does not need any shitcoin as we already have BTCitcoin  Tongue.

Not sure about Merit but if we are discussing things that are forum related then I think NFT’s based on users on the forum could be cool. I just wonder if there’d be enough demand. www.bpip.org could be used as a reference.
There probably wouldn’t be enough demand but only a thought I had, I mean who wouldn’t want to own a theymos.
Wouldn't mind a fun NFT considering all the other shit projects in existence  Cheesy.

Bangladesh cricket team took some revenge. After 1934, no team got such a big win in Test match. Bangladesh cricket team showed that they can play both batting and bowling very well. They showed it to the whole world. Best wishes for Bangladesh team may they play better cricket in future.
It was a batting practice for Bangladesh and Afghanistan was not having their best bowlers in this match and you cannot call it as a revenge. If Rashid Khan was in the team things might be different.

Australia trail by 137 runs and the positive aspect of Australia is Usman Khawaja is still in the crease and scored a century and Alex Carey is the only batsman left and one wicket from here will expose the Australian tail.

By the way, Conor's aim was to get out of poverty and live a luxury lifestyle. When he achieved this, he lost his fire, he liked coke and hot girls too much, got distracted. You can't have coke and sleep with bunch of girls and be number one fighter at the same time. He wants both but that's impossible, that's why he lost against Khabib.
Even if Conor McGregor fought Khabib Nurmagomedov 10 times, he will loose 10 times.

To be honest, I have no idea why he plans to fight Chandler. Have a look at Conor, he drinks whiskey, he has fun and doesn't train, how is this man going to do an amazing comeback? He won't be able to beat Chandler and will only add shame to Conor's name. He lost his mind!
Simple reason, Michael Chandler has only won against Tony Ferguson in his last 4 fights and so is the reason Conor McGregor choose to fight him, if he won against Dustin Poirier, Justin Gaethje or Charles Oliveira there is no way he will be signing up for this fight.

If only 10 nations are participating in this tournament (out of that 5 from the South Asian region), how can you call it as "World" cup? There should have been a middle way, which would make sure that some of the associate nations get to participate and also the media rights holders are happy. But as of now, not even all the full members (12) are included in the world cup.
Countries that are playing Cricket are already playing in the World Cup and they need to have a level of performance to get qualified and the rest of the world is not even competitive to get a spot and 4 Asian teams got qualified till now and Sri Lanka is looking for a spot. You cannot complain the broadcasting team as they want competitive performance rather than one sided matches as ODI is not getting the spot like before after T20 matches became the norm for entertainment.

England's chances of winning go way up if Root scores a century based on my research.
Joe Root is still in the crease but they lost their 5th wicket, Jonny Bairstow is in the crease along with Joe Root and they need to build a partnership for them to reach a decent total, hopefully the English batsman remember that this is a Test match rather than looking to score at run a ball.

Bangladesh had a good batting practice and Najmul Hossain Shanto improved his career average by scoring two centuries in this match and hopefully the match will be over by tomorrow.

Is gambling a bad thing to do? As for me gambling is not a bad something but the individual can be bad and also the way you present yourself in the society can also tell people about your personality.

How do you see the father? Was he right by rejecting the son gambling win?
Looks like the father did the right thing, it is clearly mentioned that he is a boy even though his age is not mentioned, there is no way anyone would gamble or allow to gamble at a young age as it would destroy his career because he starts to think about making money as an easy venture. If he is a student, he must focus on building is life rather than gambling.
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will China takeover as the leader in blockchain and start the new bull market? on: June 15, 2023, 06:48:11 PM

Another argument on why China might become the leader in the cryptospace is because the American government has been imposing regulations without clarity that causes many developers confused and leave or stop working for projects based in America.
Hong Kong is the hotbed for cryptocurrency after China started cracking down on the cryptocurrency space but countries like Singapore, Vietnam are more open to the cryptocurrency space and majority of the businesses from India are moving to GCC countries as they are crypto friendly. With US cracking down on the cryptocurrency space and they have already imposed restrictions on China, they need to open the market with the help of cryptocurrency to counter these restrictions and if that happens it will have an impact on the overall market.

Here I am feeling West Indies needs to improve their domestic setup and also needs to end problems with their players which are creating problems for them in last few years because if it's not going to end then surely things can go from bad to worse for them in coming years.
West Indies is a group of countries and hence there might be some limitations on some of the aspects, they were the best team when Sir Garfield Sobers and Clive Lloyd used to scout the Caribbean Islands for talents and many of the legendary players were included in the team during that period especially the fearsome fast bowlers. You need a captain like that to scout for talents for you need an administrative team that are capable of doing that.

Now the main focus is on T20 and even though there are domestic competition players are inclined to play the shorter format because of global tournaments which offers huge monetary benefits. .

I have also seen many people leaving cities and moving to rural areas to live a natural life.
People started to move to rural areas because of the insanely high taxes they are paying in cities and yet they were not able to get any facilities when the lockdown was in affect and they understood that with limited resources people were able to do their jobs. If you look now majority of the commercial buildings are empty because some of the companies now prefer work at home and hence save money.

On to the topic, if you are having the resources it automatically means that you are having the wealth to obtain those resources. You are portraying a situation where everyone is having everything which is not a realistic situation. Either you need to be in jail to get all those resources for free without paying anything  Tongue.

Afghanistan are under a lot of pressure so far and Bangladesh is a big challenging team for them. I think Bangladesh will give Afghanistan a total target of 650+ runs including the second innings. And I don't think Afghanistan can break this target. But now it is to be seen how much Afghanistan has prepared for the game against Bangladesh
Afghanistan has not included their best players against Bangladesh and not sure why they have not included Rashid Khan who is their ace World class bowler and they are not playing much Test matches and this is their only Test match against Bangladesh and with an inexperienced lineup you cannot expect any magical performance by Afghanistan, instead it is a batting practice for Bangladesh.

Players such as Steve Tikolo, Maurice Odumbe and Thomas Odoyo were capable of competing with any of the top full member nations. One of the reasons why Kenya was not awarded the test status as due to opposition from the Asian boards. They thought that awarding an African nation test status would dilute their hold on the ICC. Anyway, now Kenya is just an entry in the record books. Will be remembered as a lost opportunity for cricket to expand in to the African continent.
Kenya and the players you mentioned has pulled some upset wins from 1998 to 2003 and they were coached by Sandeep Patil who build the team who could spring these surprises but from where you heard that the Asian boards opposed on getting Kenya a Test status because India and other Asian teams used to visit them while New Zealand reject to play in Kenya even during the world cup in 2003 due to security reasons.

Match fixing controversies from major Kenyan players and their internal conflict with the board is the reason their entire structure was destroyed and you cannot blame other boards for their demise.

Every drop is a buying opportunity. Have a goal to buy bitcoin on every drop.
If you are thinking on that aspect every drop is an opportunity to accumulate more coins and if you are watching the whale alerts on social media you could see that many whales are accumulating thousands of coins during the last few days and that is the normal trend whenever the price went down as many are looking to accumulate the coins for the next bullrun.

I think binanceUS can't do anything about SEC's case. If they want to freeze the assets then its just it. SEC is out to get the binance.US and just want to run it themselves. Maybe that's when Gensler can becomes an advisor. Gensler hates CZ for bringing FTX to its death while Gensler obviously have close ties to those kids managing the exchange.
I never thought on that aspect, Gary Gensler who is the chairperson of SEC is rumored to approach CZ and Binance to be their advisor in 2019 and now he is going after him which means he is taking revenge and there are reports that he was really close with SBF and the general consensus is that the rivalry between CZ and SBF fueled the downfall of FTX.
