1161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB or ETH ? on: May 28, 2022, 09:32:48 PM
In term of decentralization and i will try to pick ethereum instead of BNB.

In term of centralization and i will pick BNB instead of ethereum.
The decentralized nature of Ethereum was evident on 20th July 2016 when they forked due to a major hack without any consensus and no one would literally consider this aspect as decentralization Tongue. Right now i am not using Ethereum to make any transaction due to the higher transaction fees, higher price alone will not make it a great investment tool, lets see how it goes in the next few years.
1162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Where do you see gaming tokens in 5 years from now? on: May 28, 2022, 09:02:11 PM
I am also bullish on blockchain gaming ecosystem, there is a huge potential to be on ATH price level during bull market. The more we invest in low marketcap gaming alternatives coins, the higher chances will be for development and market growth. New projects also can cut costs in bear market circumstances, it is free market for all.
There is no doubt that blockchain gaming ecosystem is making waves but we are yet to see any solid games that could attract hardcore gamers and once we start seeing them, then we can reach a conclusion that the ecosystem is delivering what it started. There are many projects that started recently focusing on the gaming ecosystem but you need to be careful in choosing which ones to invest.

I'm really interested in what the new T boss will do in this regard, especially when we know how much he paid for his new toy.
I hope Elon Musk will not entertain selling user information and i believe he purchased the toy to make changes to their business behavior especially how they are censoring users for their opinion. I am not a big time social media user even though i used when it started and i stopped because everything you get for free you need to sacrifice your privacy and data.

as you can see this has never happened before and the people who are selling out their USDTs are not your average joes but rather the whales,so what do you think ? Do they know something we dont ?
With the UST blunder everyone is skeptical about the so called stable currencies and that is the main reason everyone is selling off their USDT as well because they too have a fair share of issues when it comes to transparency and faced legal issues in the past and you never know when it will fall as well because it is certain that only a small portion of it is pegged with actual US dollars.

Along with its bad luck it was the low score that ended up losing against Rajasthan Royals. The team that was able to score 200+ runs against LSG wasn't able to score the required run. Losing the toss, the performance of Jos Butler throughout the ongoing season and the lack of bowling from RCB. Rajasthan won the first season of IPL and probably will collect the trophy this time.
Rajasthan Royals missed some simply catches in the field and i thought it is going to be a lucky day for them but Prasidh Krishna and Obed McCoy changed the match upside down by picking up wickets in the final overs and restricting the flow of runs and Jos Buttler continues his sublime form and i wish Rajasthan Royals win the tournament in memory of Shane Warne.

Bangladesh could not win the first match due to some wrong decisions of the captain. And in the second match, Bangladesh lost because of poor team management and the poor performance of batsmen. Mirpur's pitch is a bit spin-friendly. The management has put players like Mosaddek on the squad who were not fit for this type of pitch. There are many more talented spinners in Bangladesh. Besides, 10 players of Bangladesh have been dismissed for zero runs in two innings.
You need to blame the Bangladeshi batsman for not playing they way they need to play to save the Test match and only Shakib Al Hasan and Litton Das made any effort to prolong the match and the rest of the batsman failed miserably and when the partnership between Shakib Al Hasan and Litton Das were going on, i expected the match would end up in a draw if they were able to bat for another session or two.
1167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Old Casino Keep Up Without Support Here In Bitcointalk Or Signature Campaign on: May 27, 2022, 08:49:08 PM
Yes, they can be helpful in some ways especially if its a newly opened casino, but as time goes by and this casino has already build its own credibility to its players, then even if they lost the support from bitcointalk forum or signature campaigns, they can already manage to stand on their own and continue their legacy. It does not matter whether its an old casino, but as long as the interest and satisfaction of the players are still met, probably this old casino will still continue to operate.
Loosing the support from the forum is a different matter altogether, it is hard to manage without the support of the community but the established platforms can still do business without any signature campaigns. We have seen some of the major sportsbook reaching out to major endorsement and sponsoring them and running a campaign here is much much cheaper.

What a great comeback from RCB and they will play second qualifier. Total run was good enough to beat Lucknow but Lucknow played well. Unfortunately they didn't manage to win the match against RCB. Both the teams played well but RCB deserve to be winner.
It was a day for Royal Challengers Bangalore and a really bad day for Lucknow Super Giants as they missed many chances in the field and if they were able to hold on to the catches the situation would have been different. Today everything Royal Challengers Bangalore did was successful and they have one more hurdle to enter the final and hopefully they could be lucky again Wink.
1169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk won't save Doge or Bitcoin this time on: May 25, 2022, 09:29:52 AM
Elon Musk doesn't care about the price of bitcoin, the proof is when the price of bitcoin drops like this, is there any attempt by Elon to raise the price of bitcoin again, of course the answer is no, Elon Musk only cares about himself and doesn't care about bitcoin or other alcoins.
Why do you think Elon Musk would raise the price of BTCitcoin whenever there is a correction. He is smart enough to play along with the market and book his profit whenever he wants and not to invest whenever the market is volatile. Right now he is accumulating the amount to takeover Twitter and he wont be allocating any money to invest in any financial sector.
1170  Economy / Speculation / Re: A crash where Bitcoin wasn't responsible should be treated as such on: May 22, 2022, 08:19:20 PM
~
People should be aware for a similar situation: Bitcoin wasn't responsible for what happened, Bitcoin was safe, working as usual and as usually proven since Bitcoin was started. No need to sell Bitcoin.
People need to learn to be wise and don't sell Bitcoin when different Altcoins are having techical problems. It will likely happen a lot more because we have a lot of shady Altcoins!

A very good recommendation: don't sell Bitcoin when a different Altcoin crashes!
There is nothing wrong in booking your profit when you expect that a major crash is looming over us. The reason for the entire cryptocurrency market to fall may be because of multitude of reasons, first the increase in interest rate by the FED and then a stable currency crashed because they had a shitty algorithm based stable currency which was bound to fall like this.

You know what - that is not funny at all.
India would always play games to keep PK away from the international cricket. So that they are always in trouble - but I hope God plans are more powerful than men's plan. Why are Indian always happy when something bad happens?
How can India play games on keeping Pakistan away from International Cricket, the sole reason the teams were afraid of touring Pakistan is simply because of security threats and the attack against Sri Lanka team while they were touring and some of the players were injured with bull wounds and it was an unfortunate incident and hence there was no tour planned for decades. I suggest not to drag politics here in the forum.

Since I keep myself updated on IPL through the forum - nothing on our TV channels about the IPL. Read it above that Hydrabad is going to play semi final if they win today, are they in semi finals now? What's the current update of IPL now as it is heading towards finals.
The final four is Gujarat Titans, Rajasthan Royals, Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore according to their rankings. In that Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals will play the first qualifying match and the winner goes to the final while Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers will play the elimination match and the winner of elimination match and the looser of first qualifier play again for a spot in the final.
1173  Economy / Speculation / Re: Between $24K and $27K on: May 22, 2022, 06:04:22 PM
If there is a safe way that would be investing in crypto or keeping your money in cryptos because fiats are prone to inflation. Smart crypto investors won't sell for fiat but if they are selling then maybe they will re-invest in a much stable crypto for a while (not the stable coins like tether) because they are still the same as fiats.
What are the stable cryptocurrencies in your point of view apart from the stable coins, all the markets go down when there is a correction and i have not seen any coins had have a major support in any correction. I would hold in fiat currency for the long term rather than holding in anything cryptocurrency related during a major correction.

USA inflation might be high but I don't think this is the reason why price of cryptos are dumping or many people are selling but in fact, this should drive the price more higher because people are looking for a safe haven and they can see that crypto is one it. It's going to be a perfect timing because prices are still cheap due to corrections.
If you are not confident in holding USD there are other fiat currencies like EURO or Swiss franc. Right now the cryptocurrency market is moving according to the global economic situation and hence you cannot consider it as a safe heaven during crisis.

You both made me travel in the past and recall those incidents. Cricket in those old days was more interesting and fun to watch. Perhaps, we were young in those days and everyone loves the past.
By the way, I miss those sledging incidents maybe because now there are no matches/series between the two rivals Pakistan and India.  Sad
Those were great memories and i used to watch every ball and in fact the matches were interesting because the bowlers were dominating and only players with solid batting technique were able to score runs against them. Pakistan and India matches were really huge and as a fan i would like to see them play each.

~
The Indian bowlers back then (guys such as Venkatesh Prasad and Javagal Srinath) were perfect gentlemen and they never indulged in any sledging. Now the situation has completely changed, with bowlers such as Navdeep Saini resorting to beamers and verbal abuse. And apart from isolated incidents, the other two South Asian teams (Pakistan and Sri Lanka) also refrained from sledging. But then, for teams such as Australia and South Africa (and to some extent New Zealand and England), sledging was always a part of their strategy.
India was struggling to find fast bowlers during that period and when Javagal Srinath made his debut he was aggressive and had pace but he was not involved in any tantrums. The first Indian bowler that started giving back sledging was Sreesanth and now a days majority of the Indian bowlers does that.

They were saying that Ketlen did more damage than Holm but point difference is just 1 Point. If Ketlen did more damage compare to the volume of punches from Holm, how come there is just 1 point difference?  Its frustrating to see yourself lose with a questionable UD. I'd rather be seeing a TKO or submission.

Holly wins when you least expect like against Rousey or her with Raquel Pennington.
I was watching the fight live and i thought Holly Holm won the fight but after hearing the judges decision i was surprised and i am sure Ketlen Vieira was also surprised and so is the reason she was emotional after delivering the post fight speech. There was a good standing submission attempt from Ketlen Vieira but other than that Holly Holm won the striking battle and fight stats will prove that.
1176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coins made you 100x returns in last 6 years ? on: May 22, 2022, 02:01:56 PM
Did you make 100x your money ? What coins did you invest in that made you huge amounts of returns in the last 4-6 years. Would be curious to see what you guys took a chance and made a lot of money.
Overall i would say BTCitcoin gave me the profit throughout my investment even though i sold much bigger portions of my holding back in the first two rallies and then it would be Ethereum as i was able to enter during the ICO phase and even though i sold majority of the portion at $10, i made a substantial profit last year when i sold off majority of my holdings. Last year though Dogecoin was the surprise package as i was holding millions of coins, the rally surprised me and cashed out everything.
1177  Economy / Speculation / Re: What was the most deceitful speculation you ever fell for on: May 21, 2022, 11:55:15 PM
Mine was Bitcoin hitting $100k before the end of 2021 and BNB reaching an ATH of $1k  at the same time. I don't want to mention that of doge coin surpassing $1 and Shiba inu making it's way to 50cents. I think many fell for some of this careless speculations and relied solely on it neglecting our own research in which i too was a victim. What speculation did you fall for
There is nothing wrong in dreaming high but to end up and calling yourself a victim for the fantasies you had is a bad thing when the market did not reach any values you dreamed in a short period of time Cheesy. Every Dick and Harry can predict any valuation without making any sense and if everyone starts rallying behind them, who is to be blamed. Be realistic and then everything will be fine  Wink.

Realistic approach is, wait for the next halving and then see whether your expectations are met .
1178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Terra Luna Delisting from Binance, investors lose millions of dollars! on: May 21, 2022, 11:35:26 PM
Many investors were surprised and did not expect that the delisting would be carried out so suddenly. However, Binance said this step needs to be done so that investors can avoid even greater losses.
There was something that needs to be done from Binance to save their face and that is what they did by delisting the coin by claiming that it is a Nobel idea to prevent investors from loosing anything further when majority of the investors burned a hole in their bank balance from their investment and profit they made in this space. I wish people would be more careful and do their own research when they invest in this space to avoid these kind of debacle.

I don't think sledging is only done by the big 3. I think almost all the team does some sledging at a certain amount. But the problem is the big 3 are so renowned for sledging that people only point their fingers at them. remember no one is a saint and neither they are devils, right? there are some situations in every match where certain players can obviously lose their calmness.
There is nothing wrong in loosing their calmness when you miss a catch during crucial situations and India started sledging back after Sourav Ganguly became the captain, before that there was not much said by India even when they are under fire from the Aussies or other countries.

~
I am not sure how this is true and i have witness people from Bangladesh and Pakistan also sledging in the matches against the big three.
I still remember when Javed Miandad made a mockery of the Indian wicketkeeper by jumping like him in the 1992  world cup match between India and Pakistan.
Venkatesh Prasad and Aamir Sohail is another encounter that everyone remembers when Aamir Sohail smashes back to back boundaries and shows his bat in gesture that any ball will go to the boundary and the very next ball he took his stumps and his hand signal in anger was the highlight of the match that would hype up any fan watching the match.

Finally the four teams for the playoff is confirmed. Right now which team have got the highest chance of winning the trophy. I'm gonna support Royal Challengers Bangalore. To me, it is Royal Challengers Bangalore for some specific reasons. In the last match Kohli played in a pressure free manner and this can continue. It adds more power to the team. Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants will play with more confidence.
Two team that impressed me the most this season was the newcomers Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants and i wont be surprised if any of the them end up winning the tournament. Rajasthan Royals also played well throughout the tournament and their potential is their powerful batting unit and later on started defending totals as well
