I was very much interested to watch the final decider match between the two teams, but the rain spoiled the event and the series ended 2-2. I would not say that India or South Africa was the beneficiary of this result. The final match could have gone anywhere and also we have seen that South Africans are not good at chasing. (Indians were batting first in the final match too)
The BCCI should be aware of the weather situation in South India during this season and it was raining heavily for the past two weeks and i knew that rain would halt the match. I wish we had a complete match and see who could come out on top in the end but weather had other plans and shared the cup between Indian and South Africa  Cheesy.

Is there a ODI and Test series after this or just the T20 .

Right now Sri Lanka is in complete command of this match and going to win a historic series against mighty Australia which did a good score of 292 in fifty overs but an amazing partnership between Pathum Nissanka and Kusal Mendis is giving them a driving seat to win 146 runs in just 25 overs are enough for them with nine wickets remaining and they need 100 more runs in 17 overs which is not difficult on papers until know.
Sri Lanka completed the history win and i do not even know majority of the players in the team and they went on and defeated a star studded Australia and i will be remembering the name Pathum Nissanka if he continues to perform like this. It is possible that Australia underestimated the Sri Lankan young side and they paid the price and wonderful performance by the young Sri Lankan team..

I still have zero clue about the current situation because we are at the beginning of a recession so it could be a lot worse as well. I still think that it will be 100k+ eventually, but that doesn't change the fact that for the next year or so, it could end up lower and lower due to recession.
The global financial situation is an issue and now we are in a period where everything that is happening in the general economic sector is affecting the cryptocurrency space and it is largely due to institutional investors who invested billions into the space and they will book their profit and look for safe heavens especially in gold if there is an economic recession looming.
1104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk sued for 258 billion USD over alleged Dogecoin pyramid scheme. on: June 19, 2022, 02:36:33 PM
Elon Musk is about to get sued for alleged Dogecoin pyramid scheme. We all knew that his Dogecoin shilling will come back and bite him in the a$$. Grin
Is dogecoin a pyramid scheme? Is this a rhetorical question? Grin Any doge supporters here?
There is no substance for this lawsuit, Elon Musk never asked anyone to invest in anything even though he was teasing about Dogecoin through his social media pages and that is the sole reason the meme coin trend even started during this rally.

In a court of law it is not that hard to prove that Elon Musk is not involved in anything involving Dogecoin and his lawyers will squash them in no time.

Indian T20I squad has recently played IPL with top players of the world and soon after the IPL they lost 2 T20I. IPL wont have any positive impact on performance of Indian team? South Africa is yet to lose any T20I series in India, if India wins the match today it will be the first time they won a T20 bilateral series against SA.
It is simply because of the IPL that there is new talents uncovered and that too players who are yet to play first class matches, so the bench strength India has right now is simply because of the IPL. The players were scattered in different teams and not playing as a unit in the IPL and to perform as a team it will take some time and bonding that is what happened in the first two matches.

South Africa won the toss and elected to field and i expect a good match and wish rain wont affect the match tonight.
1106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Justin Sun creates "the most decentralized Stablecoin" on: June 19, 2022, 01:11:06 PM
Do you think USDD will be more decentralized than existing decentralized stablecoins?
Does anyone really care about the stable coins being decentralized or you want transparency about the peg but the serious issue here is that after the launch it is struggling to maintain the 1:1 peg ratio and it is still below a dollar valuation even though more liquidity is add to its reserves. Will see how decentralized it can be and how long it will be able to maintain the valuation, after the UST debacle every stable currency will be under scrutiny.

Third ODI is between Australia and Srilanka is happening, but Pat Cummins and Steven Smith not into the XI. Today Sri Lanka might dominate the game and take the lead in the series. Lankan bowling did their job so far, four wickets already down and run rate very typical.
Till now Sri Lanka is showing their dominance and after the last match, i am not going to place a bet in this match as you never know how Sri Lanka will perform as they have become so unpredictable. One day they fail to defend even 300 runs and then the next day they are able to defend a modest total even though rain affected the match and hence i wont be surprised if Sri Lanka win this match as well.
1108  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitoin prediction - 1 Million dollar by 2025 (Expert) on: June 18, 2022, 09:18:13 PM
In my opinion, the price of bitcoin reaching $1 million seems difficult to happen. Although anything can happen in the crypto market, it seems too much to predict the price to reach $1 million in 2025. Moreover, in 2022, bitcoin prices continue to weaken and it is still difficult to rise to the area above $40k. Even reaching the target of $100k as predicted by some experts before always failed.
There is nothing wrong in having expectations but to think that the price should rally to hundred thousand or a million in a short period of time is wishful thinking and then what happens, everyone sells their coins and be happy forever  Cheesy. Do not listen to random predictions where they say that the price would reach so and so in a particular time period as no one can predict them.

Enjoy the correction phase as well and accumulate more coins.  Wink
1109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: June 18, 2022, 07:56:11 PM
The scoring from Shakib Al Hasan and Nurul Hasan are very important for Bangladesh. With this the team can try to increase the chance of losing the match and move it towards a draw. For 109 runs the sixth wicket have fallen, and according to that now the Bangladesh innings would've come to an end. Luckily Shakib Al Hasan and Nurul Hasan are on the crease and doing the best of his ability.
Shakib Al Hasan is back in the pavilion but Nurul Hasan is still in the crease and they only lead by 71 runs and with only 3 wickets left and it is a matter of time how long they can delay West Indies from scoring the winning runs. Toss was an important factor in the match and West Indies won the toss and put Bangladesh to bat first and If Bangladesh played well in their first innings it would have been a close game.

I have only 1000 tokens of HARD FACTS NFT's available, there will never be more than 1000 in existence... That does not make them worth a million dollars.
If there are people willing to shell out money on your worthless peace, then it will fetch a million dollars  Tongue.

For those of you that are so CULT LIKE in your beliefs, and refuse to accept facts and the reality of what is now happening:   Talk is cheap, make sure you take out a second mortgage on your homes, run up your credit cards, and " BUY THE DIP "     Wink Wink Wink
No one is forcing anyone to hold anything, if you think it will benefit you in the long run you have the option to invest in it according to your bank balance and be smart about your investment rather than going full in lending other people's money and investing in any financial asset. Only risk what you can afford to loose.

Mickelson suffer over $56 million in gambling loss and also spend hours for his therapy. When a guy already enroll himself in a therapy, you can tell its already bad.
I would say it was too late for him to enroll himself into therapy after loosing a whooping $56 millions, he should have done that when he lost his first million then it would make sense and he could have saved the rest, but what is the point when he looses everything and then understanding his mistakes and enrolling himself  Lips sealed. It is a recurring story from athletes where they misplace their wealth and end up being broke and it is really sad to hear as it will not take much to appoint a financial manager.

He vows to “deregulate” the digital asset industry. But what does this mean for the South Korean crypto market about “deregulation”. Is this good or bad in the long run? And how does the international market gonna react about this statement from the newly-elected South Korean president?
I am yet to understand how he is planning to deregulate the cryptocurrency market in South Korea, does it mean anyone can run an exchange without any KYC requirement and even if the exchange run away there is nothing they can do about that, or anyone can conduct an ICO/ IDO whatever name you call them without any restrictions. I am yet to understand his vision and it is better to comment after that.

And for South Africa, the lack of form from their captain remains a concern. So far Temba Bavuma has scored 61 runs from 4 innings.
Temba Bavuma is not known as a prolific striker of the ball in T20 and he is struggling in Indian pitches, advantage for India is that Dinesh Karthik has become a world class finisher and most of the time he does not getting the opportunity and he should be sent ahead of Hardik Pandya depending on the match situation so that he get more time in the middle.

After the first two matches i thought the series is done and dusted but it is good to see that India is fighting back without any major changes in the bowling unit.

The match was delayed due to rain and the target for Australia was 216 runs in 43 overs. It is very difficult to win with such a low target against a strong batting lineup like Australia. However, Australia lost Aaron Finch's wicket by only 39 runs. Australia scored 56 runs in 12 overs. It looks like Australia will dominate and win this match.
The expectation of an dominant win by Australia were halted by Sri Lanka and it was an incredible bowling performance from Sri Lanka to restrict Australia and the rain restrictions have aided Sri Lanka as they needed to chase the score in 43 overs and i missed that while placing the bet and made a blunder loosing big time and the odds for Sri Lanka was above 7 at the time Cry.

1115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT's are a bigger scam than LUNA/UST on: June 16, 2022, 07:36:08 PM
The actual content of the NFT, such as a piece of art, is rarely stored on the blockchain. The reason why the content (such as a JPG, MP3, or Gif) of the smart contract associated with the actual NFT is stored on the web and not the blockchain is because of the size and cost. So you don't really own a piece of art. You own a piece of metadata describing some art that is stored on a centralized server. Those servers will, inevitably, eventually go down, be hacked or bought out so the owners of an NFT will, in the long run, own nothing but some metadata pointing to a defunct site.
If the project that launched the NFT is closing down then it is possible that the servers will eventually go down or some other people will take over those servers. Since it is a new space there are more methods of storage coming up. If the artwork and the NFT are stored in the same blockchain then there is nothing to worry even if the project disappears. The rest of the storing methods have their downfalls, so check carefully before investing.
1116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: June 16, 2022, 02:57:27 PM
LOL... another disastrous performance from Sri Lanka. They are now 175/7 after 38 overs. And remember that they are playing the match at home ground and that too against an Australian side which lacks some of the key players such as Mitchell Starc. Matthew Kuhnemann in his ODI debut picked up two crucial wickets. And none of the Lanka batsmen could even get to a 50. Such a shameful performance from these guys. They are going to lose this match, and in all probability will lose the ODI series by a margin of 0-3.
The last match was a great one and if not for the innings from Glenn Maxwell i expected Sri Lanka to win the match but unfortunately Glenn Maxwell was in prime form and was clearing the boundary with ease and today they disappointed with the bat and defending 220 runs is an impossible task with the batting line up Australia has and the odds right now is 1.07 for Australia Grin.

Pakistan won the match by 53 runs in the end by the DLS method and won the series 3-0. Shadab Khan was really great in this match.  I really thought west Indies could salvage something from this match but they failed to do so.
Shadab Khan made a difference in the match but when Akeal Hosein was in the crease, West Indies always had a possibility to win the match even though they lost 7 wickets as he was hitting the ball clean and was scoring at a high run rate and the odds which were in favor of Pakistan for the majority of the match started to change when he was in the crease till he was dismissed.

I was watching Akeal Hosein for the first time and they way he played he will be a prospect for West Indies in the future and he might get invitations from T20 franchise for his striking ability and he is a pretty decent spinner.
1118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Energy used to mine Bitcoin with other industries. on: June 12, 2022, 08:00:02 PM
They are continuously promoting Esports by arranging international tournaments and making a dumb young generation. So, they are not concerned about the environment at all, things are something different here.

Looking at the data, we can see that Bitcoin accounts for only the smallest share of carbon footprint/environmental pollution and global warming.
All the reasons they gave were to hide their fears, fear of dominance, out of control ... Fear of Bitcoin.
I doubt these cries are because they wanted to reduce the carbon footprint, these are just cries to get attention. Logically there are other things that are creating a much bigger carbon footprint and they wont raise their concerns against them but cryptocurrency space is a trending one and hence you hear more voices talking about global warming and attaching BTCitcoin mining to it.
1119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bear Market Can Be A Waste Of Time or Useful Depending on How We Approach It on: June 12, 2022, 07:09:10 PM

But for anyone that considers leaving, know that this market will reward those that stayed. It is the time to educate yourselves.
I've seen even silly spammers changing their ways and realizing there is a lot more everyone can offer by changing their ways.
For now, it is the time we count losses, but also we strengthen and rise to the challenges we face.

Besides the new cryptocurrencies, from my perspective, I'd look more at cryptocurrencies that hold utility, keep developing and have a serious community
It all depends upon the projects you have invested. If you have invested in good projects with utility then it will rally during the next rally, if not it will eventually die off like we used to see in the past. There were projects that had all the hype during the last rally and then during the bear market most of the projects died off and some that were still surviving had to do something in order to gain the momentum during the last years rally.
1120  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin scenario crashing to $20.000 - $23.000 on: June 12, 2022, 06:25:47 PM
$20k here we go, I'm not surprised if Bitcoin will reach at that level again, I mean a bear market is also unpredictable like bitcoin when it's bullish, so we have to accept if it will reach $20k or even fall because it will always recover like it did many times.

Some people may panic, but some will take this as an opportunity.
Everyone who look for an opportunity to invest in BTCitcoin would always want to see the price to fall to those levels and there is nothing to be surprised as we have seen that multiple times in the past and still some are surprised that the correction means that the market will not rally again Grin.

Welcome to the bear market, the tough times for those who don't trust bitcoin.
New investors who are yet to book their profit might stay away from the market for a long time and that is the best solution right now and then enter once the market recovers again after the next halving. Patience is everything in a market.
