41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: 1xbit violated self exclusion terms, do not want to help on: May 02, 2024, 12:53:17 PM
Now I am requesting a refund because I asked to be self excluded and they did not grant it now they claim through email that they never received such request from me when I did in fact send them a email + I contacted live chat.
Before we even talk about the reputation of this sportsbook, I think partly you need to take the blame here , because you are very much aware that your account was suppose to be temporarily banned and most likely you would have still called them out to be a scam if you won and they denied your withdraw based on the self exclusion request.

If you ask me this is as good as depositing as huge amount to gamble and when you lose, you choose to chargeback which is dishonesty on the part of the player.

Best way to resolve this is to accept that your lost and can't claim the 20mb.
42  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making decisions while betting on: May 02, 2024, 09:05:52 AM
Emotions play an important role in influencing your betting decision-making process. Being aware of the impact of our moods and actively working to regulate them can dramatically improve our choices. By avoiding rash decisions driven by emotional highs and lows, guarding against overconfidence bias, and finding a balance between caution and risk, we can enhance our chances of success in  betting.
To be honest, emotions are one part of the equation that we might have control of but the other part is the actual game which is out of our control which makes gambling a whole game of chance especially that we have other variables such as match fixing which also influence the game! I know we want to be perfectionists but gambling is a combination of wins and losses!

How do we regulate our emotions while betting and how important is it?

To avoid emotions flying all over the place...Stick to the plan of how much to wager and the alike , never be too confident that an outcome will happen and you should be okay.

You asked how important this is, well this ensures you don't go off track like over gambling or going all in when risk management is to be followed.
43  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't make your bets when you're tired on: May 02, 2024, 07:04:51 AM
The title should rather be to not make serious bets when you're tired. In my opinion, it's ok to have fun and make a few rolls on a game or just bet on some matches at whatever situation you may be so long as the amounts risked aren't important to you. If the risk you take can have consequences to you then you should think about it again before making such bets in my opinion.
Sounds like gambling for fun while losing money, but why not do the right thing by gambling to make money while having fun in the first place because nothing hurts more than losing when you know very well that this action was avoidable by doing this when mind is rested and thinking straight.. regardless of amount of course!

Of course  when you're tired and a bit back on your cognitive skills it's easier to make bad decisions and also be more compulsive. But bad decisions aren't that important if you take into account that gambling is purely chance based.
In some way you are right and we could get away with it when it comes to casino games but tried this with sports betting and that voice of reason isn't with you which leads one to lose and not care about the outcome , which is something I discourage other players from trying.
44  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can You Submit KYC Before You Win Big on: May 01, 2024, 07:11:09 PM
Having read so many scam accusations against casinos and sportbooks having to do with withdraws and KYC tells me the best bet to avoid future problems is to do all this before you actually make a deposit, #Rule number 1!!

Don't give these guys a reason to hold onto your funds that you legitimately won without any foul play get back to the house for failing to pass KYC or not having the right documentation etc, otherwise before any win comes remember to pass your KYC and read T&Cs too to avoid any drama that can errupt with the bookie or casino because you never know when your big win might come!!!

Unless they ask me, I will probably not consider it...
If passing KYC has never been a problem then doing it when asked is a smart move especially if you are very conscious of your personal data  Cool

46  Economy / Gambling / Re: BC.Game asking for KYC before letting me Withdraw on: May 01, 2024, 05:47:05 PM
I know the feeling of these guys taking your deposits without any questions asked, but when you  try to get your money out it's a cat & mouse chase Cry

Anyway, Rule of thumb when it comes to gambling on KYC casinos and/or Sportsbooks, as a player always do your KYC to avoid future problems of them not allowing the user to withdraw as this will seem like a targeted operation but believe it or not they are very much working within their terms of service which you most likely accepted before playing on the platform!!!

All the best to you OP, hope after KYC no other requirements come into the picture  Cool
47  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Hong Kong Bitcoin ETF Responsible for Recent Bear on: May 01, 2024, 03:48:59 PM
Usually something has significant as an ETF approval should excite the markets and bring with it positive price moves, but because this could be an opportunity for some to sell high now as there is a market from Asia buying heavily, the US markets and other whales could be selling and will buy for cheap when the price takes and get more profits in no time as they know price will rebound after this setback!!

So in some way I think the the "Hong Kong Bitcoin ETF" is very much responsible here!!!
48  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it advisable for a beginner to invest in a newly launch project? on: May 01, 2024, 08:11:42 AM
When we say Beginners, these are people who are new and have no well developed knowledge on a particular field (it may be anything, Bitcoin or something else). Being a beginner /newbie whereas fully knowing their is nothing known about investment making, why would one want to now venture into something they have no common sense about. In some cases, It does not really matter whether newly launched projects or not, as long their is no proper/basic knowledge as well being a newbie then it's best to restrain from investing.
When it comes to investments, we have two kinds of investors... those that invest based on a professional financial advise and those that invest based on gut feeling & personal research!

And considering this is about a beginner/newbie this doesn't mean these people press the buy button while closing their eyes, no!!
With so many scams around the internet one needs to be cyber smart to protect oneself and ones investment and if I were still a newbie in this niche of investments I would still do my research as it's a basic requisite to survive in this industry and should not be used as an excuse not to...besides this is like buying a car, as a new car buyer you need to do your research into the cars problems, its best features etc and if it checks your boxes you go ahead and buy!!
49  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: May 01, 2024, 07:30:34 AM
Last night's game just proved that the competition has got to a very competitive stage, I thought Real Madrid the most decorated team in this comp will get an easy result even going to win the first half.. but unfortunately the hosts had the last half as they forced the game to end in a draw which isnt bad for both teams considering away goal rule was scrapped off but still think Madrid should go through...

Today we have a game that might look like an easy route for PSG on paper but Dortmund didn't get here by accident and will give the French champions a run for their money but should still go through as they have more fire power.

My prediction BVB 0-2 PSG

Tried blackjack.fun for the first time and for a user who is usually on the inplay markets of a Sportsbook, I think I like the odds animation you have going here .. and btw I haven't seen that anywhere which is a thumbs up, though at the time not so many games were available being a week day but looking forward to see what markets are available during todays champions league match Smiley

GG BlackJack.fun

You should check your account on BlackJack.fun too, you might also have a balance. Last time they gave $20 to my bonus wallet, which I didn't know about so it ended up expiring.
Was given this bonus too but expired and if I can recall well this should have happened when we were suppose to have a blackjack contest for BCT members but the platform was buggy at the time...better luck next time I guess

Is it advisable for a beginner to invest in a newly launch project?
Advisable I don't think so!

But if you are going to be diligent enough to look for any red flags not to invest or the green flags that will give you a reason that will convince you to invest in the project then I don't see anything wrong investing this way as you have done your homework and it's checked your boxes then one can go for it...

Btw,when it comes to new projects, everyone needs to do their due diligence regardless of being an experienced crypto investor or newbie!!

59  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Has Anyone Used This Crypto Recovery Service? on: April 28, 2024, 11:06:08 AM
If you have made the effort to recover your wallet and failed by yourself then chances of getting full access is zero unless password recovery of brute force is used with these common passwords such as qwerty, password etcetera

Otherwise 95% of these recovery services are for certain just a scam and waste of time and money!!!
60  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do some people hide to gamble on: April 27, 2024, 08:56:48 PM
Personally I do gamble occasionally and don't like to put it out there for everyone to know what I do because I respect my privacy but unfortunately alot of humans  out there are very judgemental on how others live there lives which is something I avoid.

So I guess the reason for people not putting their gambling habits out there could range from privacy, avoiding the shame from losing, avoiding sharing winnings with others who might know of your good luck and want a piece of it, avoid others knowing ones financial standing etcetera.
