I just sold whatever i had left. It's clear, Bitcoin is dead.
It failed. This year was make or brake. It broke. People lost interest. Everyone is getting out.
You have to be delusional to think the price will go up suddenly again.
Face it, this is the 5th or 6th year already. This is the time where it was supposed to happen and it simply failed.
People aren't gonna be suddenly interested again in 2 months again.
It's over. There is one way this will go and it isn't up.

While some peeps are panicking, I'm anticipating cheap coins... why worry if the fundamentals haven't changed? In fact, the network scalability fundamentals have improved with Gavin's invertible bloom table proposal. Cheap coins means longer adoption phase, more people being able to buy them, and creating a bigger ecosystem in the long run than if we suddenly spike and crash... No wait... most people looking at the prices just want to get rich quick... carry on.  People can buy 100 dollar worth in Bitcoin now or when it's 10.000. So your point is invalid. Bitcoin going down simply isn't good. No matter what excuse you guys come up with. |

It is quite easy to be a bitcoin bear in 2014, none of you can deny that. We're almost finished with this year and it has been nothing but down, sideways, down, sideways, down, sideways, up (slightly), sideways, down, sideways, down...

That quote is from Sigmund Freud... heard of him? And, yes... get a grip on the bigger picture.. 2014 is 7/12th's completed.. or 7.5/12ths or 15/24ths... or 5/8ths complete.. Even if this happens to be an overall "down" year for bitcoin, so fucking what? Sigmund Freud may have said it, but it was originally spoken by Mr. Carl Sagan. 2014 has been one hell of a bad year for bitcoin. It's going to be harder than ever now to convince my friends to invest in an asset that has been decreasing in value steadily for almost a year. I think at this point any potential investor who looks at a long term graph is thinking... "OK, where else can I put my money?" Sorry guys I'm not trying to "troll" you all, but you've got to admit this shit looks bad. Um, it only looks bad if you're looking at a really small timeframe? Overall trend is buy the *** out of it now...go long. $12,000 peak next Longer the price goes sideways the bigger the peak will be? Have some heart! 8 months is a very long timeframe. Stop the nonsense about a really small timeframe. Also there is no overall trend to buy the *** out of it. People are dumping. That's the overall trend. He is right. It simply looks very bad. There is no way you can talk this right. It isn't bullish. It isn't a great time to buy. It's bad. |

Thursday is most bullish day of week. Friday is the bear whale's favorite dump day, and then by Sunday we will be in the $570s... if we're lucky. Sorry to be pessimistic my good sirs, but when you've played this game as long as me, it happens.
I hate being right all the time. I was off by one day, but still, in general, I was spot on with the general market sentiment. Right? You were wrong. |

Why?? Because we all love cheap coins. Protip: good traders buy on the way down and sell on the way up. How many more years do you want Bitcoin to go down exactly? You've had 5 years for cheap coins. Wasn't that enough? Do you realize you will make money if people stop selling all the time and the price goes up? If the price goes up because no one sells, it will be unstable. Sellers are needed. Lets see how well the market holds with a 10m bidsum at $10,000. Sorry. Doesn't make any sense. |

i wanted to buy at 570, but now i will wait for 560 bcoz this is a hard crash ( see huobi )  Actually, why don't you wait to buy at 550 when it hits 560? Or wait for 540 when it hits 550? Or wait for 530 when it hits 540? Or? Or? Or?.... or never buy any ever? Again you are correct. Another flawed logic i see here all the time. |
