As the price of these coins are the most important thing this year (considering it's the only thing people talked about the last 10 days) the price will go down or up by huge amounts when we know the outcome, right?

Right?

What do you think the chances we even find out the outcome are?

Personally, I think they are low. It's a closed auction. I don't think any official channel (government) will release anything. And I wouldn't be surprised if the bidders have to seal their lips based on some terms of the auction. No experience here obviously, but that is what my gut is telling me.

so all the FUD and speculation is fruitless because we might never know the price they sold for?

Oh that's just a small detail. Not important. More important is that the market has been in complete fear for 2 weeks. That more coins were dumped than there are sold on the auction. Out of fear that those coins might be dumped.

Find a non important event. Create fear. Dump every day. Do this as long as possible. Once it's over don't care about it anyway. Find next event. Repeat.

He is very optimistic, but it will not move like 3x, but may be 100-200 usd rise we can expect.

I'd be very surprised if the highest priced one sold above $800. I don't think the market will move to the sale price either because of the sale.

That would make this thing even more retarded than it already is.

Since there are quite some "experts" here who are sure that the price will be lower or higher than market will we hear from them when they turn out to be wrong? Will they make a post how they were completely wrong and maybe next time should be less arrogant. Or will they be quiet and simply do it again at the next event? Acting like the know all.
1525  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 29, 2014, 02:52:35 PM

So 6 months of fear, panic, fud, crashes and more fear over nothing. Who would've guessed.
And the worst part is when there turns out to be no China problem at all nobody gives a fuck.
They simply move on to the next piece of fud.

What's even worse is this:  The exchange operators/reps of OKCoin, Huobi, and BTCC couldn't have gotten together like 4-5 months ago and presented an official, detailed joint explanation of this VERY SAME INFORMATION, HELPING TO COMBAT ALL THE FUD AND NEGATIVITY?  WTF, REALLY? We needed to wait 4-5 fkn months after all the bullshit to die down for this to be officially said and presented to the community?

Oh wait, but if that had happened there wouldn't have been any opportunity for China FUD, ambiguity, and chaos during all those months, and people wouldn't have panic sold, and ....

Indeed. Obviously they somehow profited from this chaos.
Edit: the insider info. How lovely was that. Before every FUD that came out you'd see someone dumping huge amounts. Nothing but pure manipulation.
And it can be easily stopped. By not panicking like dumb sheep every single time. But that's something the idiots will never ever learn.
1526  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 29, 2014, 02:37:30 PM
And here we are now. The pboc said there is room for Bitcoin. There turns out to be no ban whatsoever. And nobody gives a shit. Who cares about China, right? We have small auction to panic about instead. Way more important. How exactly nobody knows but it's good for keeping the price down. So we'll take it.
1527  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 29, 2014, 02:33:23 PM
China turns out be what everyone knew it was already. 6 months of fud. 6 months of made up news to cause constant crashes. 6 months of a group of people controlling this and getting rich. And every time they laughed their asses off in pure amazement that all the idiots fell for it again.
Everyone knew this was happening yet every time the idiot traders couldn't control their panic.

Oh when i say everyone knew this was happening i mean everyone but the forum clown. Blitz was crying non stop about his "facts you dislike" stuff. I can't even see anymore if he is 100% trolling or 100% stupid.

So the moment we went over 600 something triggered a mass sell off in China. We instantly go back under 600 and someone puts up a wall to make sure we stay there.
Always nice to know there is 1 person or 1 group of people who control the whole market and stop us from going up.

Finally!!

"Gov. Brown signs bills legalizing Bitcoins use, other legislation.
AB 129 will allow Bitcoins and other digital currency to be legally used in transactions in California by repealing a provision of state law that bars the use of "anything but the lawful money of the United States."

Assemblyman Roger Dickinson (D-Sacramento) said the new law he wrote only recognizes what is already happening.

“In an era of evolving payment methods, from Amazon Coins to Starbucks Stars, it is impractical to ignore the growing use of cash alternatives,” Dickinson said in a recent statement."

O WoW, very good news!

Yes awesome. You know if there is good news by the price going down.
1531  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 28, 2014, 02:31:26 PM
The market is in full fear mode again. Over absolutely nothing.
1532  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 28, 2014, 01:19:05 PM
what just happened on Huobi ?

People panicked because we went up. They were afraid that other people might start dumping so they started dumping. Then Stamp also panicked because ooooommggg China is dumping and also started dumping. Now we're lower and everybody is like goddamn, that was horrible but i'm safe now!
1533  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 28, 2014, 12:15:34 PM
its crashing!!!

 Grin

Yes. People totally went in panic mode because we went over 600. So they quickly sold to make sure we'd go below 600 again. Now everyone is safe again.
1534  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 28, 2014, 12:03:31 PM

Mervyn, Are you saying bitcoin doesn't create wealth?

Yes, exactly! Bitcoin doesn't even aim to create wealth. It aims to store and transfer wealth, but because of it's overly simplistic financial properties, it fails to succeed in it's goals. Without a mechanism to keep stable unit value, bitcoin is a gimmick of an currency, that is more of an innovative gambling platform, then a serious financial tool.

Why do you bother with it then?

because he is on a payroll. I wonder if they get paid per post or monthly. and some bonus if price really tanks...
credit cards, banks... the old powers will not just sit and watch btc succeeding.

The banks and cc companies have enough money to fuck up the market completely. They would hardly even notice it.
They're not gonna spend a few 100 here and there for some trolls to make Bitcoin fail. Get real.
1536  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 28, 2014, 07:04:39 AM

new bubble really comming

charts work until they don't

if we have a bubble it will be another event that drives it, cyprus, china, something similar but would have to be bigger.

I just don't see anything that big on the horizon for the next 18 months. Need a catalyst if you want your bubble trends to keep on keeping on.

18 months.

Really, where do you people get all these numbers from. How can you possibly predict what will happen or not in the next 18 months. I never get these kind of posts.
1537  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 28, 2014, 04:48:40 AM
I have a feeling we are going down. We still have another 4-5 months before ATH. The longer the better imo.

You got a source for that 4-5 months part? Or did you just make that up?
Actually i think i know the answer already.

Can you read the part where it says I have a feeling? Or you blind?

=====

Unless something like ETF gets approved, or some big news hits the media I think we will go sideways for a bit.

Big players are waiting for regulation, Bitlicense guidelines will probably be released for comments early July, and like they said 60-90 days after is when they will start issuing the licenses, and will be a regulated environment.

I think once all that gets finished, we will be looking at new ATH late 2014, early 2015.

Yes. I can read that. You said you have a feeling that we're going down. Are you blind?

We just broke 600 and now we're stuck at 599.99 again? What is it with these sellers? Are they ever gonna give it some room to go up again?
1540  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 27, 2014, 11:45:54 PM
wall at 600 is going bye-bye

Bitfinex is over 600. China keeps buying. Bearstamp doesn't want to follow.

Edit: 599. There we go. I hope it triggers a rally.
