Bring on the multi-year bear market. Let the true bit-leavers accumulate all the coins from the weak hands!
No thanks. And please quit with the weak hands myth. I don't get it. Last winter there were tons of people on here saying that if prices fell to $100 or $200 or whatever they would take loans out on their home equity, cash out their 401k, etc, to buy as many as possible. Don't we still want this? Yeah, but that was last winter. Price support should be a LOT higher than that 8 months later. If it truly isn't, then all exponential trend patterns are badly broken. So you really really want bitcoin to take 5 years to get back to $1000? Really?? Exactly. How much longer do you want Bitcoin to go down so you can buy 3 more coins. It's been enough. It should go up by now. And if you believe Bitcoin will get huge then buying at 400 or 600 doesn't matter whatsoever.

Everyone needs to get bearish so we can liftoff again.
So you think we need to shake out some longs first, or do you think we simply need to get the movement going again? I try to understand why people feel the need for another crash before a new rallye can emerge! This is a weird logic that people start saying everytime the price is stuck for a while. It's based on nothing really.

Must suck to be that fool that buys at 690+ every time.
It's so odd. At 688 they don't buy but when someone starts pumping those same people panic buy at 695 only to see the price drop back to 688 after that. And then they panic sell of course. It's always the same. Why do people still fall for it?
Because one of these days the price will move upwards past 600 to never return. Bitcoin has become a real snoozefest which I think is extremely healthy. We are at circa 590 and bored witless. A few more weeks of this and the weak hands will have sold. Then the next move up can begin. When exactly are these weak hands done selling? I think i read that same sentence at least 50 times by now over the last 1.5 years.

And it's over already. Now everyone will sell to get their 50 bucks profit and we'll be back where we started.
don't forget the people that panic bought and immediately panic sold for a 50 dollar loss. there's plenty of those here too. Oh believe me. I'm pretty sure only a very small % of the traders actually make profit. Making this constant dumping even more stupid.

Not gonna lie. Looked pretty clear that someone was just buying their own asks on Huobi. I'd love to see some up here, but with this kind of pump action and nobody following, it doesn't look all that good....
We will go down soon again. Just like the previous 30 times. It's sad that this whale buying doesn't even excite me anymore. In a few hours from now you wouldn't even know it happened.

That was a good hour for the Bitcoin! +few$ is always something and better than minus. I still see a chance to set the price @ >$600 till Monday =) Volume will go up at any time from now. Just check exchange trade volume. In 10h it will go up >$4.5m. Just keep repeating the same thing every day. At one point you will be right.

I hope it goes to 470 to give a gleaning point.
As much as I'd hate to see Bitcoin go to the $400s again, I also think that this would we a much needed fresh start, to be honest... Although I'd much rather see a nice breakout from where we are now, to up north! Maybe we are stuck in this upper $500s to lower $600s for a reason - and that is that there is just NOT enough people willing to sell into the lower $500s anymore... and in that regard, it just does NOT seem too likely that BTC prices are going into the lower $500s anymore absent some pretty big time negative news. I mean, I do NOT even know where Risto is getting this $470 from .. or even imaginging that $470 is possible... Maybe he is just saying $470 to troll us - b/c he really does NOT believe $470 is in the realm of real probabilities? Look at my pic. If we fail to breakout next week a fall into the 460-470 is possible. Not right away (it will bounce here and there at various support points), but in a few weeks time probably will. If we fail to breakout next week that is. Fundamentals: recent news were good (Dell, etc), but I'm afraid the Bitlicense might have scared a lot of people. Also, the volume during the june rebound was generally low and it was all kinda weak. Next week we'll see. Your pic is a chart with lines drawn on it. That doesn't work. It's as accurate as flipping a coin. You probably had a few 1000 examples already that showed you it's useless and a waste of time. How many 1000's more do you need to understand this?

Next week should be interesting Around the 14th-21th August we will be at a breakout point. Great opportunity to make a profitable trade by buying or selling if we breakout or break down
I've read we're at a breakout point about 20 times in the last 2 months. Don't you people ever get tired of claiming this and being wrong. Really, your charts don't work. Believe me. You can't predict what will happen 10 days from now.
