This major fear for a tiny auction must be the dumbest thing i've seen in the Bitcoin market so far. Unbelievable. Something like Expedia accepting Bitcoin is 100 times as big and important and nobody gives a shit. 8 days of coins being sold and it controls the whole market and actually makes it go down before even something happened.
I don't think silkroad coins has much to do wit this and big companies adding Bitcoin as a payment method at this point is really bad for price stability, regardless of Bitcoin being on news more than ever, the user adoption is dropping really fast, if only these companies held the coins it would be as if we got new users with every purchase. what is happening now is a rally between holders to sell without causing any panic, the book order is really thin with few thousands BTC at the Bid side while there is more than 12 million coins out there, do the math. Ok, just coincidence that we're going down more and more every day we get closer that the most talked about and feared even of the last few months. Why do you assume that if anyone ever sells they must be a panicking sheep full of fear? I don't. It's usually the smart traders triggering it and the sheep following it.

This is bad, we are touching the Long term trend line at Stamp at 572 and nobody is buying wtf???
Of course nobody is buying. There is a huuuge major event coming up that controls the whole market and could put us down by a massive amount. I know about the silk road auction and I know that until the 27th we won't see huge spikes, I'm just saying that nobody seems to be defending the VERY important long term trend line. A Big dump could take us way below that trend line, which would be TERRIBLE for BTC. And who is supposed that defend that (imo useless line)? The Bitcoin police? Nobody wants to buy because everyone is shitting their pants because of a small auction. It's that simple.

Extremely butt hurt. He's like a classic example of butt hurt. Probably made some very nasty mistakes with his coins and now hates every day we're going up. Never ever have i've seen such a tool as a mod. He's like the forum clown.
Bitcoin has already made me wealthy and I would like to stay wealthy, thus I try keep my mind agile and free from cultists' poisonous thoughts who only seek to become like me because they came (much) later, and are intellectually dishonest about Bitcoin. It would be good for your character if you stopped accusing anyone with an opinion to your disliking, and if you were to be more open to arguments. But unfortunately, that seems to be the modus operandi for many here. False accusations with nothing backing them up. Oh, and just because I'm a moderator doesn't mean I don't get to have opinions dissident from some of you guys. It does speak of certain irony of course to have shroomsy, someone who is non stop crying over the market, call anyone butthurt. You were bear at $60, you are bear now at $600. You will probably be a bear at next 6*10^n. Nothing wrong with being a bear but a mod spreading FUD all day and talking shit about Bitcoin owners on Bitcoin forum is about as retarded as it gets.

Finally I have found this article embodied in a gif. THEY say don't quote the troll; however, it seems really strange to have a supposed moderator spreading such FUD (from March 2014). Blitz - you keep posting links to that bullshit FUD article... over and over and over... And your frequent posting of such FUD article does NOT cause the article to become true, when the article is in fact a bunch of bullshit. I've never seen such a clown of a moderator on any board. He sounds butthurt to me. Extremely butt hurt. He's like a classic example of butt hurt. Probably made some very nasty mistakes with his coins and now hates every day we're going up. Never ever have i've seen such a tool as a mod. He's like the forum clown.

Fixed. It is last week under 600$, ever. After auction, price is going to skyrocket. I wish. But i doubt it. Just the mention of a small action caused huge panic. When the auction is finished and ended well/bullish noone will care. They'll be looking for the next reason to panic sell. There are no events anymore that make the price go up. No amount of good news will make the price go up even 10 dollars. People aren't interested in good news. Yep, the day the Expedia news came out, the price was at $630. Price didn't budge at all. Then the very next day, wham! A fkn FUD storm about threats of 51% attack (again, every 6 months, for years now... ad nauseum), +Stamp FUD, + China FUD, +Bitfinex FUD, all on the same day. And then a bunch of panic selling ensues all the way down to $530, for no good reason at all. And you know what? No one even remembers that now, or if those stupid fears were even warranted. Here's a hint: they weren't. The bitcoin community is, and will continue to be, pathetic, until it puts on its big boy pants and grows the hell up. Stop panic selling over nothing. Otherwise, the bitcoin world hasn't even seen what the governments of the world can cook up in regard to FUD, until they need to. Exactly, it's just pathetic.

Maybe you haven't noticed but nobody cares about good news. When some obscure Chinese blog posts an unconfirmed story how a random Chinese bank will ban Bitcoin everybody totally freaks out and dumps everything they can. If that same Chinese bank says Bitcoin is no problem the same people are like who cares. Hell, they'll even dump some more most likely. Any news lately is reason to dump. It's a new thing in the Bitcoin world that started this year. And people are so used to doing this now that it's hard to change this again. We would need months of non stop amazing news. But that's not gonna happen. Every 2 weeks there is something new that makes the price goes down. So all these idiot traders simply say "good news or bad news, i'm not gonna wait and see, i'll just dump right away".

Isn't everyone simply awaiting the SR coins auction?
Yes. Because the sheep need something to panic about. If it wasn't this auction they'd find something else. It's a minor event but it completely controls the price at the Moment. Traders are idiots. Probably on the day of the auction the idiots will start selling because people might start selling. The news has to be really damn good for the price to go up. Anything not extremely bullish and the traders will totally completely fucking panic and sell. When we recover a week later they'll find the next event to panic about.

Surprising to see that nobody here is bothered by the fact that without explanation China suddenly started dumping like crazy. I'm still very curious what caused this. It's taken us down 20 dollars now. There's nothing that caused it, China pumps a little and China dumps a little. It's just going $20 up and down and has happened a few times already in the past week, just the regular whales and sharks trying to make some money during this consolidation period. Only a couple more days of this crap before we will see some real movement. I understand what you mean but i still don't see this as a normal event. Anyway, i hope you are right about the 2nd part. Considering how important everyone thinks this auction is i expect to see some big movements. Up i hope but then again any news means down it seems lately.

it is not china... if you didn't notice, there is someone who has been dumping for days, he dumps in ~ 500 BTC batches , then he waits for support to build up around $590-600 and then repeat... it has been going for a couple of weeks now, just watch when the soonest we come close to $600 it happens again, I think someone is cashing few thousands of BTC and doesn't want to trigger a panic selling and/or doesn't want to effect the price that much. How was that not China?? I was watching it in real time how hours ago China started dumping 1000's of coins which obviously resulted in Stamp following. Don't you see the charts and the activity on the Chinese exchanges. I stopped watching china long ago, I still believe that (some Chinese) beside faking their products they do fake their trading volume as well... I believe they can fake anything for some dollars. So It wasn't China because you stopped paying attention to them. Err...ok.
