It's so odd how many of you waited for the price to reach 500 or so to buy back in.

I'm sure there are many others (like me) waiting for more of a confirmation before fully unleashing all our fiat Smiley

Sure. Just wait till it reaches 600. You could've gone full in at 400 but why do that if you can spend 200 a coin more. You have to be sure, right?

Sure, you could have gone "full in at 400". Quite a few did (or even below that). But the same mindset of unbridled optimism prevented a lot of people to sell at 1000. Or 900. Or 800. Or at all. You get the picture.

Point being, not everyone who bought back "late" (i.e. now) sold early early enough to buy at a profit, but not everyone who buys back now does so at a loss.

Which makes your anger at those who get in now puzzling to me. Let them buy back whenever they want. Be happy that they do so at all, I'd say.

Anger? Not at all.
It just amazes me when i read all these stories here every day. Buying, selling, drawing lines, waiting to buy back in blah blah.
I buy and hold and it works perfect. And i'm pretty sure my profit if i'd sell now would be better than 9 out of 10 of the traders here.
But no, i'm not angry. Just keep using all these trading theories. Totally fine  with me.

I'd love to see us drop one more time to 500 so I can get some last second buy-ins.

No. Stop hoping for cheap coins. You've had months and months. It's time to move on.

somebody removed 800 from the sell side at 528 and market sold it.

congratulations to such a smart move

Please explain.

Sarcasm.

This last leg up was real weak. Starting to wonder if we will even make it to test that 530 wall. But bitcoin tends to surprise!!

What do you mean?  Were you expecting us to shoot up to 550 tonight?

I think a slow methodical rise is healthier than a bunch of panic short covering and margin buying into oblivion. We are going up pretty damn fast as it is.

This is what I am looking at

It is taking massive momentum, exhausting RSI to make lower highs. We are above January level momentum at half the price and those divergences there should be warning to the bulls. Daily RSI is overbought levels and we have not even tested the previous high at 548! The triangle broke but is the downtrend over? This momentum tells me the buying pressure is not there, and if it does not show itself sooner than later the downtrend will push us down

A few lines told you all that?

530 wall is impressive, $834,730.

That wall is fake. And its a WEIRD place for a wall. There are no resistance lines at 530.

Someone is trying to buy in lower for the run to 550.

~530 was a strong support that held a couple times in February before we broke finally down into 400s. You know, support becomes resistance and all that stuff. Smiley

He's not very smart then.

Does anyone think that now is a good idea to buy? Ive waited for a few months like I was told and now this has reverse?

You met someone who could predict the future? Can i have his number please?

No I met someone who knows how to draw all the pretty lines that people draw around here and his lines said don't buy yet. He may not know for sure but he did predict the future and save me 1000's.

You seriously think anybody here can predict the future by drawing lines? Come on. How many millions does that guy make per month? He must be filthy rich right?
You/he got lucky. That's all.
Never take investment advice from anyone here. There is not one person here who knows where Bitcoin will go tomorrow let alone in a few months from now. 90% or probably more of these people drawing lines lose money. They just won't tell you of course. Bitcoin doesn't follow lines. It's that simple.
Ask any of these people who draw lines how many millions it made them. They will come up with tons of excuses but never that drawing lines simply doesn't work.

fuck, had a buy order for 2 bitcoins but tried to bottom fish. now i just lost 100 usd if this price remains

That's why you buy when you can and hold.
It's the only smart move.
You may think otherwise but really 95% or more of the traders here actually lose money chasing bottoms and tops.
They will never admit it. You only hear them when they made a few dollars.
They'll end up losing it the next day.
1853  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 20, 2014, 05:05:52 PM
I'm hodling.

That's what the smart people do.

Only 700 to go to 1200!

I wonder when TERA will acknowledge the fractal pattern has been broken. Maybe still too early, but this could go in the right direction (north)

She won't. She lives in some kind of fantasy world. Right now she's staring at the screen trying to figure out why her $320 buy order didn't fill.
She'll be here soon enough crying about bull traps and how we will go down.

A few big early morning pumps and following that back to anaemic volume, no cause for celebration

LTC hasn't followed much, which is a cause for concern as it usually follows btc at greater percentage! Sad

Look how many alt coins there are now and look at some of the gains that they are experiencing. Why would you invest in LTC that has stayed in a 0.015 range since March? Especially when its only selling point is speed.

I'm very curious to see what'll become of LTC. Perhaps we'll see a second mover advantage hanging in there or maybe it'll just be eaten alive by the tidal wave of new coins.

I'll tell you what will happen to Litecoin. I owned shitloads of Litecoins which i sold just before they started moving from 2 to 40 dollars or so. Lost out on a sickening amount of money.
I bought a good bunch back last month and now they don't do shit anymore. Of course i can start buying other alt-coins but they will turn to shit the minute i look at it.

OMG there is a wall to observe 1400 btc on stamp... Grin

Yeah good to know there is always someone trying to stop us from going up.

I do believe he's referring to a buy wall  Wink

Ah, i saw a 1k sell wall i believe.

sold half my mro at 40x my entry price.  bidding to buy it back at 20x.  don't you just love crypto?

can't imagine trading btc anymore.  no volatility to speak of.  i may just hold until it hits $4mm.  still rolling my short iwm gains into btc though.

Yep, MRO has paid for a deposit on my second home.

Bought 10k at 0.0008 for 8BTC sold 5k at .006 for 30btc and 5k at 0.008 for 40 btc

Profit of 62btc in a few days. Thats jut the main chunk as well I did a fair bit of trading when it swung between 0.001 and 0.002.

Thanks again Wink

Definitely re buying though this coin is really different.

What's mro?
