I think what you're trying to suggest is good but I don't think it's wise to invest 60% and 40% all in all. I think you should separate a part of your money (salary) then properly divide it with expenses like groceries, bills, etc, meaning NEEDS. Savings could also be a need, so it could be there. As long as you divide it and properly invest in something that is worth, then go invest. It would benefit you in the future.

Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?
Generally people prefer real estate investment because they are less risky. But in the long run real estate is not a good investment vehicle. Annual taxes, dues, refurbishment, paint etc. There are expenses like. People think that real estate is making a profit, but there is a possibility of making it harm. I would prefer gold or bitcoin as an investment instrument.

Saving money for future, you will not lose your money and that is better than investment. Because if you are making an investment than there will be a chance that you lose some money or earn some. So i choose to save money but to me i think that if you are going to save your money for a long time , then the value of your money is decreasing from time to time. and if you have invested your money for long term, so hope that after long time the value of your investment will be more high than its original price, therefore i will suggest you that long term investment is more better than trading. I agree with you that investment is better but still someone have to keep some money with them for emergencies as I have saw some people who invest in some bigger schemes much of their money but when an emergency come to them then they do not find any money to solve that issue. Saving some amount and investing the remaining is better idea.

In saving money, our money cannot grow, or in saving money, your money only on the bank, only the interest of it grows, while in investment, the money will grow, or sometimes you will be bankrupt. But it is up to you, what can happen will happen to your money, if you want to grow your money, or just save it.

So kind and thoughtful, we must choose both. Saving would need to meet short-term needs such as paying the mortgage, pay for daily needs, and so on. The future is very important so we have to invest. Do not hold the investment, because it can make us prosperous in the old days.

What legit investment option isn't better than leaving your money in your savings account for a poor 0.3% annual interest rate? Especially when you take inflation and the yearly wealth tax that you have to pay. People with plenty of money that purely save money without any side investments are in a big losing position. But hey, it's their decision after all
I don't really think there are many such people if there are any at all (lottery winners aside) If that were so, you would have to ask yourself where all these people (who have plenty of money and which allegedly don't know how to profitably invest it) got this money from if not from their prior investments. That may be a business but they would be already investing in it. If this money is inherited, it is most likely inherited in the form of some investment already since you still face essentially the same question in respect to people from whom this money is inherited. So any way you look at it, this is a highly unlikely situation, namely, rich people not knowing where to pour their piles of money into

We can see that investing sometimes does not work, sometimes can lead you to bankrupt. We are not tend to earn but sometimes, we lose some of money. It is more safer to save money, it is not just to tend to save, but not to lose money in some investments. Just saying, saving is a short term, in investing, you cannot see or predict if you will earn.

No one is better both of them are the same. You cant pick which is better on these two. Both of them are key to a successful business and living. Much better if you add hardwork on those two.this will give you a better and nice living.

Well, in the end you have to choose one of them according to your expertise. maybe you can choose the best if you have tried both. but, I suggest to invest. has a lot of people are successful because of it, and I think it has been proven extensively. both of which require enormous patience.

Both are better but not everyone can do it due to lack of income and irresponsible money management style. I believe if we really aim for future financial success, we have to sacrifice a bit and that is to learn how to save as that is the first process to be done before you will start to invest. Once you have started your journey in investment, you will know how tough the competition is but if you will mature, you will succeed.

I prefer to save. Because saving is an investment itself. I don't let my money in my wallet to stay still. I always make sure that it is growing so I find ways to increase it. Either I put deposits from my salary when the price is right or do some little gamblings sometimes.

Bitcoin is for dual purpose but when you are saving it you are considered doing an investment, the value will increase or decrease depends on how the economy perform so there's a chance we can lose also. I suggest you have to divide your investment and savings, save fiat for your savings while keep bitcoins as your investment.

I don't get your point mate. You prefer to save? Then why you are finding ways to increase it and play also gambling? If you want to save money you must deposit it on your bank.

When you save a money in the bank you are only and you cannot earn big in saving money cause you only save and you only wait for the value to increased. And in investing a money you could earn bigger than a saving. Because if the money you will function you could as much. So its better to invest than to save a money.

Create a mix of both, saving this funds could be used for emergency. And invest other funds in different asset class which you understand and yields you good returns in longer term.

what do you mean by this funds and other funds? if this funds you mean bitcoin and other funds you mean the fiat than it is sensible enough. bitcoin worth to save more than to spend, but sometime you really get a lot of profit, just need to be wise and careful while investing.

true I think both are equally needed. you can not leave one of them let alone leave the store. choose both very profitable. so why do you choose one only? saving and investment when combined will give a very good result for your profits

Almost all investments will require some starting money, so unless you inherit some money or someone give you them or you win in the lottery, you have no choice but save for some time at least.
Also you must have something in case your investment fails, too.
Of course at some time investing will be necessary because of the inflation, if you don`t invest and grow your money soon it will be worth nothing.
I don`t see invest and save as opposites that you must choose one, but two things you must do if you have any saving

For me, savings is necessary and we must enforce it.
