saving money is much more better than investing it. suppose you are earning 100$ everyweek. so if you save 50$ from that then in a year you will earn about 600$ but in the case of investing lets say you are getting 1% per day then it will yeald hardly 30% in a month that means 30$ in a month and you also have to invest the full 100$ in it

either your example was terrible or I did not really understand it. If A is earning 100$/week and saves 50$, he should be earning about 2400$ annually and not just 600. Then, when you brought up investing, you went to 1% a day when you were measuring earning in weeks and savings too. Let's say a person earns 1% of 2400$ everyday, he still gets 8760$ annually. What do you mean bruh?

That example is flawed right at the start. Earning $100 per week is evidently compared with investing $100 per once (because of "30$ in a month"), lol

And I'm not even mentioning compounding (which is absent in the case of saving)

It all depends on one's circumstances and personal choice. We have situations where the margin for taking risk is extremely narrow and the current financial situation discourages us to take any risk at all. In this case, you must be careful about spending your money and prefer saving.

However, if your basic financial circuit is smooth, and you have a strong decision power. I would say you should go for the investment route after thoroughly researching your available investment options. Once you take the decision, stick with it patiently.

saving money is better imo. investing is a lot riskier but could potentially yield better results.

You should save first to invest money. From your saving based on your risk factor some portion need to invest for long term appreciation.

Saving -> Investing -> The profit or the Loss this is the cycle. If we have profit we invest again and again, everything is risky.

Its a matter of if the game or the system you chose is in your favor.

And it should be implied for everything we do in finance, most people dont get that so everythings consider not reducing the risk they take.

You should think so, as it is in your favor and always be optimistic that you will win.

Many hyip nowadays and the number is increasing everyday, what i don't prefer is to not invest in cloud mining as many are closing/not paying to their customers, so better saving.

Save or invest? The truth is that it doesn’t need to be a binary option, you can do both, both options are good but in a different way.

Saving is easier; just spend less than what you earn and you are already saving, saving is also cheaper, if you pay cash then you don’t need to pay interest rates and stuff like that.

Investing is putting your savings to work for you, and this is a lot harder, you’ll need to do research and due diligence in order to avoid scams and frauds, but if successful the rewards can be enormous, not only economic rewards but also intangibles, like less stress, more self confidence, etc.

I completely agree with this. Saving is easier and more certain. Investing is more difficult and risky, but you learn much more, you (could possibly) earn much more. It also depends on what you invest in.
It also has the possibility of becoming a full time job. And if you like putting your own money at stake for a living, it's good. I haven't been able to invest much, but I've already seen returns on the small amount I put forward. Even though the profit is $2, I feel good about it. I want it to be my job, and someday, it will. I dont think it's like gambling, gambling relies entirely on chance, and the house almost always wins. When you invest, you check what risks to run, you investigate the market, etc.

I personally prefer to invest than to save.

Well, I like a lot of users here on the forum, have the dream that at some point my money will work for me and not the other way around.

If I were asked, I would rather save it than invest it. In saving, you'll be more safe and have the control on your money. Investing has a lot of risks and there are no guarantees that it will grow , sometimes it will even lose and gone.

I think invest money is better than save it because investments will increase the money while saving will not store its value as it is decline by age
But before investing , a person must have a good plans

Pay off every single credit card debt, and have everything paid off.

Then the remainder money would be in 1% interest rates to pay partial on ones rent every month so its less stressful.

Correct, almost every hyip is a scam so I will avoid those like the plague, do your due diligence and research the company before investing.

Yeah, but know some are more obvious then others.

If you say college is a ponzi/scam I know most people would be surprised since they get a degree and explain how they will pay $60k back in loans.

Some are crafted in a way where most people dont see it.
