OC    Spreadminer5  MUST BE SP CCMINER PRIVATE 5 does 1,750mh on 750ti  the version you have does 1,650mh

EDIT see if you can get that version for your pool? :-)

If you can do that for win, I'll give your pool some hashes too.
It is a windows build... ccminer private 5 spread miner.

It is a windows build... ccminer private 5 spread miner.

There was a time when I was getting around 80 blocks a day, but when the optimised miner came out or was made public, I switched to just buying up what was being mined by others.

If he gets the windows build optimised, I'll turn on the small farm again.

Me too:-)

OC see if you can get a pull request from sp from his ccminer private 5 for Spread coin and or he can build it for your pool... better hashrate.

It's getting closer to the time SPR will begin to make an impact.

That and if you have low hash rate - you will be more apt to get a block shared as a pool!

There is probably a way to process mining via ServiceNodes to improve decentralisation.

It is always better to mine from a pool. If you have huge hash power, you can solo mine. Pool mining helps you receive a share of the coin when the pool finds a block. It will get you good amount.

Very valid view.

But you should read the mining white paper in the OP

in theory over the long haul, you should end up with same amount of coins whether you solo or pool.

Without development the project dies. Everyone loses.

With full time development the project flies to the moon. Everyone wins.

Why not set aside some Coinbase to pay for full time development?

ELI4 & 3/4 why not.

Since it's introduction within DASH, Coinbase payments to the project team, they have gone from $20m to $90m

I'm all for this. I wonder if it would be worth it for Georgem to enable the miners to be able to vote to allocate certain amounts of the mining reward for development like he has done for servicenode payments.

This funding method will be better for Georgem and future development team when there is more liquidity on the market. I assume that will come after the new releases and such so I don't know that it would be worth spending a whole lot of effort coding something just yet - if it were to be decided that the miners voting a codebase reward was the way to go.

I know for now I will only be sending donations in BTC Cheesy

I just can't help myself asking... Did georgem ever keep to his promise to release an update on his progress or are we still guessing?  Huh

No idea. Georgem? Any news to share? Would be great to have a progress update. It has been quite a long haul since January when we received our last one! Grin

P.S. I will be taking some data science courses in the coming months, so I am hoping to be able to help out once SNs have some data to play with Cheesy

You are right, it's about time, I'll try and give an overview of all the "fields of work" that keep me occupied right now.
Will do that this week,...

Nothing, really?!?

Please don't give us a update!

I Like this project a lot, cause what it can do is great for other coins and awesome for spread aswell.
With fullnodes beeing pulled daily this can grow huge.

But im almost certain that Georgem is not capable to achief this alone, this coin is not going anywere cause
it got a lack of control and developers, ofcourse Georgem might wanna do everything alone, but this is serieus taking
way and way to long.

No matter how good a developer might be he needs a serieus and dedicated team to achief goals and make constant progress.

Were not even at breakthrough "1" that is presentated how long ago a year ?

And when i read back the post he is all over the place "hes miners" "miner software" "Server nodes" "New wallet".

He promise updates and then never release them ? Assign some people for PR there are a lot around for ages here willing to bring
out some updates now and then it doesnt cost you any work.

But instead you wanna do it all yourself ? Or is there something we dont know come on buddy sort this things and be great after.

Just be patient, all is ready. Georgem is only in accumulation phase since a long time now, and he's waiting for the next btc pump to release the core wallet with big surprises.

The natives are getting restless!!  Tongue

BTW the roadmap was released in late-ish January, which means that it has been ~7 months, not a year quite yet.

Can't deny that we haven't gotten a progress report in a bit, but I think Georgem is still working on it as we got the preview of the wallet recently - he just didn't have time to go into describing it all yet.

cue the wild bongo music.

Yep, it's gonna be a long list of features, sorry for the extra waiting time.  Tongue

I will go into what BIPs we are going to use, and what problems we are going to solve.

With this new wallet I will basically create the wallet I always wanted to have.

Hey, I always create the tools that I want to be using myself.

Stay tuned for update later!

I wish to ask about the current version of the wallet from the OP. It gives too much dangerous detection on virustotal.
..And I wonder what's the reason of that...
