Node hosting bill for the month paid. $27. Just an FYI. Web hosting fee also due in a few days. Roughly $12.
Also... we have not been withdrawing any coins from the community staking account during the last few months. We swapped the coins of one of our members which ate some of the community coins, so we decided that it would be best to let them stake and accumulate for a while so that we can get to the 14k magic number that we started with. We are close to that number again after 3 months of staking, and are hoping to resume the monthly stake payouts around the first week of december. We will not withdraw any coins if we are not above the 14k number. Just an FYI for everyone.

Maybe we need some community members putting themselves up as full nodes if that is possible? It costs money to run things but with a better community effort things can be truly decentralised etc. Some of the future payouts should maybe directed towards this? Also I have not heard back from alex after repeated attempts to contact him about updates etc.

Once again I would encourage all XBC'ers to bombard cryptsy and bittrex with tweets and haunt their irc with requests to get listed. We need a bigger community presence.
Cryptsy is scam - blocking users coins for no reason -samsunk

I will ask mammix or alex about how to go about doing that if I can get a response from them.If you want to cover the monthly cost it works out at around 27 usd for the main node hosting for the month. The web hosting fee is on a yearly basis afaik. The main expense comes from running the anon nodes afaik. Maybe the best thing would be to buy up the 27 usd worth of xbc on poloniex Exchange and then donate that amount of xbc to the main wallet and this provides liquidity/volume and keeps the xbc on the books at the same time which then can be used later for payouts or compounding etc? Just an idea of course but the decision is yours

I think its just a matter of adding a your ip to the node list in the .conf file but not 100% sure if it needs to be a static dedicated one etc.

Yeah, get a static ip and run a wallet for a basic node, then give us the ip so that i can be listed in the config. The tor nodes are a little different.

Thanks jjmv. Will a dynamic ip work with that?Surely once its online it would become available? Also maybe there is a way to do this with the anon or is that asking too much too soon? I am still waitingo feedback from others I have contacted about this.

Thank you raimch89 Your donation is appreciated and we welcome all types of donations in any currency as we have addresses for any coin that trades on poloniex so just ask for the address for any coin you choose to make a donation. We will be be needing to build an active larger community from now to move towards pure decentralisation so anyone out there who wants to run a node let us know. The more nodes running the the bigger and better it all becomes

I think its just a matter of adding a your ip to the node list in the .conf file but not 100% sure if it needs to be a static dedicated one etc. According to mammix its is easy to use your own wallet as a full node. If you are using standard IP connectivity this can require more work to allow port forwarding from your router and also you will need a static public IP address NAT'd to your wallet. Or if you are using Tor this is all taken care of, just need to ensure one of the the .Onion address listed in the wallet code is the one you are using for your full node.
