Need people to vote here.BTW that mining pool got back to us and it looks like our algo won't work with their setup so they proposed mining scrypt and payout option for XBC.Feel free to post any good mining pools we can approach.

Regarding coinpayments...I have looked into this and here is what we should do. You can vote all you want but if the minimum volume of $5000 is not met every single month then XBC will be removed. We can purchase a 3 month extension for $250 but we will most likely end up purchasing extensions every 3 months thus paying $1000 a year to have the coin extended until volume takes off.

Coinpayments offers a package that XBC needs to purchase. For $975 we get everything we need and are listed for one year. If after one year our monthly volume does not exceed $5000 we only pay $250 per year to stay afloat. So for a long term solution this is it. This is exactly what we should do.

Block Explorer & Faucet
$975USD
Initial Setup
1 Year Hosting**
Maintenance
Social Media Announcement
$100 Donation to Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF)

Requirements:
Listed On CoinPayments

** - Service beyond first year will continue free of charge as long as associated coin meets minimum required monthly volume at the time of renewal. In the event of a coin delisting or low monthly volume, an additional annual service extension can be purchased for $250 USD.

It's important that XBC holders participate in the voting process on all matters so we will give it a while to see what happens. We need anyone with twitter or any social media platform to hit up coinpayments/shapeshift and even bittrex to let them know we have a community presence also.

We have barely that amount raised for development as it is so I don't think the paid option is doable right now.

The $975 is the best deal. Without a shadow of a doubt. But its a toss up between having funds for wallet development or getting listed on coinpayments. Pros and cons for both. At some point XBC team are going to have to take a risk and spend some BTC.

Egghead and myself have been exploring ideas where WE would like to take the coin. And in the absence of ideas being put forward we will start to progress these ideas to the next stage. At this point I don't want to give everything away but one idea we have would involve changes being made so that various 'content' can be stored on the blockchain. There is lots of research ahead of us and I would hope to produce a road map of sorts in the next few months. I am currently working on a proof of concept application to assist us. (Web app). If the current price of XBC can be sustained then XBC will have funds left over every month to progress this and funding becomes less of an issue.

However I am extremely mindful of the fact that this coin is a community based coin. So this is a last call to the community for specific ideas and suggestions before Egghead and myself start to spend any more of our own time on this. Forum can be found here http://bitcoinplus.org/

Catching up here and these are good ideas but I am not using this forum because it is no encryption

Fair enough. But you have just posted on a site that uses https and has itself been hacked numerous times so i'm not sure what point you are trying to make. In any case we have reverted to using a shoutbox which people seem to prefer. The forum is closed down. The shoubox is an iframe hosted through https://ishoutbox.com and you can access it through any page on the main website.

Hey I am not trying to undermine all the work you guys have done and appreciate yall stepping up where everybody else stood back and looked on.It's just an objective opinion because personally the moment I see http without the s" I think of some scammy site or something just makes me ignore it and move on but thats just me I guess but the thing is(and I am sure you guys are well aware of all this encryption tech etc)no data is being encrypted etc and thats something you would at least expect from guys who are pretty much experts in all the crypto stuff especially when the whole project is based on encrypted decentralised protocol.

Any website can use HTTPS. Personally I'm only interested in using HTTPS when handling sensitive data. There is no sensitive data on the XBC website. Its a basic drupal website. At no point do we ask for credit card details etc.  The only data you are giving away is your IP address.  I do get your point though.
