network weight has been going up pretty significantly over the past month or so which seems like a good thing  Grin

Can a wallet stake without leaving it open and running?

No. It has to be running to stake. In an ideal world the wallet should be running 24/7 to help secure the network. In reality just opening once a week or once a month for a few hours will allow you stake.

Have you any connections? It takes a while for it to get started especially if it hasnt been open for a while. We are working on making things a bit more efficient at the moment and that is one of the issues being discussed. There are plenty of connections though so when you get hooked up to one it should sync in no time.

I would like the XBC Team to purchase a yearly package deal of $975 and subsequent years of $250 to be listed on Coinpayments as per https://www.coinpayments.net/coinhosting

I would like XBC Wallet to switch from anonymous messaging to an anonymous email client instead.
11 votes
I would like the XBC Team to develop a LITE version of the Wallet so that a blockchain download before using it for the first time is NOT required.
9 votes
I would like the XBC Team to add a built in block explorer to the Wallet.
6 votes
I would like the Anonymous Messaging Feature to just WORK when you open the wallet for the first time. I shouldn't have to type any commands into the console.
8 votes
I would like XBC Team to lower the yearly inflation rate from 10%.
5 votes
I would like the XBC Team to start developing an online casino which accepts BTC and XBC.

Currently the Proof of Stake Algorithm does NOT take into account the amount of time an XBC wallet has been open and running. I would like XBC Team to adjust the algorithm so that users who stake 24/7 get a larger amount than those who only open their wallet once a year.

I would like XBC Team to remove the Anonymous Messaging Feature. It does nothing for the coin !

I would like the XBC Team to increase the reward per block when using Proof of Work from Zero (0).
-9 votes
I would like the XBC Team to gamble the entire Wallet Development Fund on Red in a live video stream

I noticed that on the official site under the Sustainability plan there is a link to a Google docs spreadsheet that outlines a fund theoretically staking at Poloniex and various things about that. The spreadsheet has not been updated since 3/11/2016 when I load it. Is that still something that is active? I like the way the development team has been running this coin a lot and think it has a lot of potential, but this is just an area on the site I think should be updated (or deleted if appropriate) to reflect the current situation. As it is, it raises question marks on an otherwise very good site.
