The statement is illogical, as you have pointed out. One will be able to save significant amounts of money, only if he is (comparatively) rich. Else, all his income will be eaten up by the expenses such as rent, food, conveyance, taxes.etc.

So your telling only rich people are saving money is it? Over 70 to 80% people on this world is not rich but still they can save money but it how much is depends on their income. That means every one will save money based on their earnings.

Your ideas are true, but imo the absolute point is luck. If you are pretty lucky, everything you do could make you be rich. Without it, almost the other ways are useless. I have heard about many friends of mine who had big capital money and make some innovate things in their business, but those were failed in the end.

Yep that is my curse. I`m an inteligent person, but i am awfully unlucky (sort of natural balance?) so even though I usually come up with good ideas, the implementation of it goes bust and I end up at square 1 always.

I hope I can break the status quo once, but yes I agree with you, luck is a vital factor in the equation of sucess.

Well I think you havent found a golden opportunity or good timing to implement your ideas. Sometimes there is nothing wrong in ourselves, maybe it is from our surrounding or others. Just keep trying and good luck

Well I agree you should always be saving, but when you invest, it is not guaranteed profit.  You can definitely lose all that money you are investing.

So what are your thoughts on investing?  Safe asset?  Even with a safe asset you can still lose, and say you are making decent money, 10% of your salary is not that much, it depends on how old you are if will hit a million before you retire.  Lots of things to consider.

I mean, in this case, bitcoin in itself is technically an investment... so I would just think that he means that keeping the 10% of bitcoin would be in itself investing and the gradual rise in the price will then make said person a very wealthy man in the long run of things.

One way to get rich is to buy only things you need.  If you must buy things that you do not need, buy the one with the best quality.

I think what you said is for how to save money from your earning not how one can become rich. Off course to become rich one must save money first but after saving then they have to find a way to grow the money to become rich. It can be their own talent or invest on some thing which can give good profit later on but to become rich one also need luck along with all these investments.
