Lol, that's "English".  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_lady_doth_protest_too_much,_methinks

9 months after the expected arrival in November of 2012.  It's July.  To date BFL has shipped less than 1% of the ASIC's they've sold...

And still they claim:

Quote
we've now shipped more ASIC units than all the other ASIC vendors combined, if you don't count the novelty Block Erupters (and maybe even including those, I'm not sure how many units have been sold of the Block Eruptors).  Nope, you don't lie at all.  Not a bit, nope.  Just keep telling yourself that, maybe someone, somewhere will believe you.

100 units a month... how laughable.

But of course no answer on how they calculate this estimate (Just the amount of boxes shipped? Or the total estimated # of TH/s?)

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=110805.msg2624036#msg2624036

Perhaps the unicorns that do the shipping have a math problem?

I know, I just keep quoting him to get an honest answer.

Or just any answer he comes up with.

I have spent months to get him to answer my questions only to be ridiculed. Everything out of that persons mouth is a lie. What do you expect from a criminal?

Inaba is not a criminal. He got hired by a criminal, I guess that makes him just a hired hand or naive

Would one rather distance themselves from criminal activities or embrace those that associate with same? The only choices is between the latter or the former, for being ill-informed is no longer part of this equation.

I agree, dude had his chance to run away.  Now he's as responsible as the rest.  Maybe more so with his taunting and teasing the public during this *alleged* long con.

Either you own the bitcoins(private keys) or you don't. However with moneroj, nobody knows what you own.

Seriously, I'm being thanked privately for my efforts more times than BFL is honoring refunds without having to be prodded by PP or CC companies. I believe it'll take the force of the FTC for anybody who paid via Bitcoin to see a refund.

"The information that I am publishing here confirms some of the worst fears which have been expressed by many people about Butterfly Labs (BFL)"

"While I was at the Data Center I spoke extensively with Joe of J.Morgan Hosting; an outfit which is in reality a BFL front as certain BFL execs own a good portion of it and Joe, being a geek, really likes to impress people with his geekiness. This means that when he started talking, he just couldn’t shut up and told me all sorts of things, perhaps thinking that I was directly involved in what I must now call fraud on a truly massive scale."

Butterfly Labs shipped the Jalapeno 10 months after first orders. They're still backlogged 7 months. If you're thinking of buying a BFL Monarch, think again.

Guess I should've launched into an OT conversation with Joe when I picked up bASIC-Mining's minirig from him. He was pleasant enough to chat with and accommodating. He did have to retrieve the unit from another location, but that's not necessarily incriminating.

The part you quoted doesn't concern me.  When BFL first started advertising the co-location services, it was explicitly owned by Josh (Inaba).  That changed at some point along the way, but I never thought that J. Morgan Hosting was a separate entity from BFL, nor did I think that it mattered.  I'm not sure why it would matter.

This is the part that is much more concerning:

Quote
Essentially what went down in this deal is that Cloudhashing had managed to get a BFL 1500 G/hs Minirig removed from the delivery queue and needed someone to verify its existence and quality before sending an amount someplace in the area of $100,000.00 to BFL for the purchase.

If this is true, and BFL is allowing people to skip the queue by paying more, without making this a published option for purchase, then I completely agree this is fraud.

I've been laughing at people who fell for the BFL scam for ages .. but when I say "Sure, ButterflyScams will surely deliver" on IRC then people still get upset because I don't have huge faith in this company.

Thank's for a very entertaining thread, guys. Keep up the good work.

btw, I know that BFL has delivered a few half-baked miners to a few select customers. Ducktape and glue.. oh my. I guess I could start saying "Sure, ButterflyScams will surely deliver .. SOMETHING"
They've actually delivered quite a large number of miners.  It's just their pre-order list is HUGE, and we only know of a small part of it.
