I think bitcoin still took a long time to reach the price of $ 10,000. I believe bitcoin will reach that level, as long as more and more people using bitcoin then deflation will make bitcoin prices continue to rise.

I think $10,000 for 1 Bitcoin is a pretty realistic prediction for the year 2020. It will probably never go higher than that but $10k is the price for BTC when everyone in the worlrd was aware of its existence. I can't prove it now but I was talking about this price in 2013 when Bitcoin was below $200.

This is true especially when trying to estimate the usage of bitcoin in day to day life. Just check how much time does any credit/debit card takes to complete the transaction. It happens in few seconds. Everytime I try to send or receive bitcoins average time is few hours. Who would wait for that much amount of time for completion of transaction.  Bitcoin technology needs to be scalable to growing requirement.
Just imagine what would happen when bitcoin price would reach to the highest level, transaction fees also increase exponentially. That is not good sign.

It is possible to make payments close to instantaneous because this payment system is centralized, and its participants trust the payment processor which guarantees payments. With Lightning Network update basically the same could be achieved even with Bitcoin in an untrusted environment and likely with lower fees at that (or no fees at all). By the way, that's one of the reasons why miners are so opposed to introducing updates to Bitcoin which could make transactions cheaper and thus faster

This really sucks, I've a similar problem with you. My transaction got stuck for 24 hours. Scaling problem is the big problem for bitcoin right now. I can't take a direct act of the market movement on bitcoin.

- In the near future, bitcoin will be good but in the distant future, all is unpredictable. Nothing is certain with a digital currency, we always think about the positive side of bitcoin but we forget the risks from it. Now, you can see the price of bitcoin is unstable and it is slowly declining because it has no solid foundation and is growing too fast. There are still major issues because either of the implementation suggested have possible problem.  So after implementing the solution, Bitcoin will then adjust to its new issues.  It is issue after issue, if you read the story of both sides about the possible problem bitcoin will face when the proposals is approved, each proposal is not 100% issue free.
