Sri lanka not looking good at all to take this series. 209/2 in 60 overs isn't a bad score but it's surely not enough, there are times when india has choked up series against other teams but this is surely a one sided game for india. I feel sad for sri lanka, they used to be one of the top teams but now that time is gone and they have started to lose their matches in home also.

SL has performed a lot better in the second innings,might be the pitch is not helping the bowlers now and if that is the case even if they score 400 more runs ,they will find it difficult to take the Indian wickets as they have a pretty good batting line up and with a pitch that does not offer anything will be a paradise of these batsmen. |

This will put back pressure in India because batting on last day will be difficult and winning will be more important for them so they may be lose the quick wickets too and give SL outside chance to win the match as well.
I don't see that happening, it will be a miracle of SL can give India 250 target from this position. And even if they do, I don't think they have the bowling to trouble this Indian batting line up. Its a pity to see the mighty Lankans like this at home, I think it will be many years now before they will be able to bounce back to competitiveness with top teams post Sanga era. |

What you are telling is not possible because if this partnership is broken then we can see wickets coming very soon so i think even if Sri Lanka give a lead then also India will chase it and win it. England bowling is going good and as usual South Africa team losing wickets and not able to score it. |

I think India will win this match. |

Sri Lankan tail enders are falling like a pack of cards. Jadeja may get another 5 wicket haul. I don't think Sri Lanka will survive from now, just 3 more wickets to go and 118 runs to pass the score.

Possibly soon the match will end today. The wicket has fallen to 9, just 56 runs away to trail. This has been a big fall for the Sri Lanka team, because in home pitch losing is something big than losing to a stronger team away. Also Indian Spinners are making a good play with jadeja leading the table. |

They lacked concentration in the first innings and that cost them the match. Ashwin and Jadeja bowled really well and Jadeja deserve the man of the match. One more test to go in this series and hopefully Sri Lanka will fight back. |

Its very hard for them to fight back from this situation because they are down and out of game they need some time to settle things happening around them and its long term planing which is not easy because stars not coming every day its take years so bat time for Sri Lanka Like West Indies |

Well India has won the match as expected. Srilanka will have to go in a long rebuilding phase IMO, They clearly need to work on their batting, as for India they did everything right from the word go. Also I am surprised that not many people are following the England Vs RSA match. The match is definitely on, England has a lead of 221 as of writing and they are 4 down. I think if they can get anything above 350 mark they will have total control over the match. Any how interesting match ahead.

Another easy victory for the Indian Cricket Team in Colombo. To be honest 622 a big total, not so easy to chase as troubled for Sri Lanka. India secures the series with 2-0. Jadeja's outstanding delivery with 5-wicket deserved his Man of the Match, congrats.

Finally they won the match with an innings. gladly Virat took the right decision and did not add more runs for the other team to chase down and right enough the other team lost the match but just by 53 runs else there would be a second innings for India. Jadeja this time took 5 wickets and became the MOM. I felt Ashwin deserved it but Jadeja's economy rate was just below Ashwin which may be the reason they chose him.
Just got to know Jadeja has been suspended for throwing a ball dangerously at Malinga.

Most of the teams will go through this face when the team is full of new talent. Currently in SL team also most of the old players are retired and this new team need some time to gain the experience. But this performance was quite bad from a home team. They should have played slowly to build good partnerships but failed to do that part. Indian bowlers exploited SL weakness well and win the match very easily. |

SL have fought well in 2nd innings well but it was not enough . Thier trail was too much for them to meet and beat India . Though SL could have being better in 2nd inning as much was expected from other player who did not support the centurions . Else Infia would had to bar in 2nd inning for sure . India has the series 3 match series now with 2-0 .
