Under the circumstances I would say that's a well thought call, however I'm not really sure considering that England team has a tendency to get out easily, under pressure if their top order crumbles like a cookie.

Moving from Ashes to Asia, team India is under solid pressure, Sri Lanka has nothing to loose but India has lot to loose, and they can't afford to be lax, the way they performed in second match was good but had the target been small things could have been different. My money on the home team.

If they continue this kind of batting they may not even score 229 runs. I suspect that they may not able to draw this match and mostly Australia will win this match unless if England batsman do some magic to save this match.

That's what separates Indian team from other teams actually , they know how to play in certain situations . If they are loosing wickets quickly then one batsmen will try and defend most of the balls to reduce some pressure and then play some attacking cricket but SL just didn't do it , lost too many wickets in quick interval.

Dhawan is in amazing form and made the century again today. He is the man of the series because of his brilliant performances with the bat. India proved again that inspite of losing so badly in the first match they bounced back brilliantly in the next 2 matches and that is why they are one of the champion side today in the world.

A wonderful victory for India as well as for Rohit Sharma, being the captain of his first one day series. A good knock by Shikhar Dhawan and even Shreyas did very well. Hopefully, the form will continue in the upcoming series. Won a simple bet with India's win.

Probably they has a fair chance of making it a tie/draw, but holding wickets will be crucial. Once the current 2 batsman settles down tomorrow it might be good to hold it. By no chance winning is a option for them, they can only survive the series by surviving the last day and make the result draw.

Australia will be looking to win the Ashes back later today, just needing 6 wickets for victory and winning the Ashes. The problem they will have is the potential rain that is forecast for the day, England will look to save the game and hope to get a draw but it will be difficult as the pitch is starting to break up with a few cracks starting to show so batting will be tough. I think Australia can win if the rain holds out.
