NZ vs Pakistan, mostly NZ is going to win and claim the ODI series. I am not underestimating Pakistan but as per there previous and recent games, I feel they are lacking some good performance and thus making them an easy prey for New Zealand. Personally I have a soft corner or follower mindset for New Zealand, so I would love to see them win New Zealand won the toss and have elected to bat. They have made a good start, reaching 80/1 after 19 overs. They look poised to set a target of around 300, which will be a tough ask for Pakistan. Pakistan are not good travelers and the series hasn't started well for them. You are right if they pass 280+ then surely they are going to win because Pakistan Batting is not working for them its very serious concern for them its not new many years they have not good series in Australia and New Zealand hopefully they will fight and then lost not one sided But now already 28th over and still NZ can manage to score just 121 runs because it looks like today also weather not good and I read that umpires need to hold their hats due to weather is windier out there. That means this match also may end in D/L method. If that is the case then it all depends on how many runs Pakistan need to score and how many over they will get to bat. New Zealand scored 258, and would have been disappointed with that considering how strong they started. But Pakistanis still managed to lose by 183 runs. Boult took 5 wickets for just 17 runs and Pakistan folded up for 64 runs. They certainly don't look like current Champions Trophy holders. That's the problem with subcontinent teams can't cope up with the overseas bowling friendly pitches they will struggle to score runs. Not to forget Trent Boult bowled superbly and he was unplayable with his pace, line and length. Pakistan has good bowling attack but batting looks so vulnerable.

2nd test b/w South Africa vs India, this is an important match for India to save this series. If they lose this game, i think it will affect on there test ranking. Let 's see they will bounce back or they will repeat the history.
3rd ODI b/w NZ vs Pakistan, This is also an important game for Pakistan if they lose this game they are going to lose series too. NZ is leading this series by 2-0.
After losing the first game against South Africa, India's captain is taking some steps and changing the playing XI tomorrow. Also maybe the opener can get changed by some other. The 2nd test is the deciding test either way, to win or to survive the test series. Previous test was too one sided, as a cricket lover didn't enjoyed it, expecting some thrill in the 2nd one. NZ vs Pakistan, mostly NZ is going to win and claim the ODI series. Personally I have a soft corner or follower mindset for New Zealand, so I would love to see them win South Africa winning record is very good on this ground so it will be tough for India to win the match and even they have dropped Pandya who played good batting in first test and picked Rahane hope that he play well and support in winning the 2nd test for India. Yes Africa have a very good record but what surprises me is there was no grass on the pitch, I'm bit puzzled. Also you're mistaken Pandya is playing. Again Rahane has been punished, bhuvneshwar picks decent wicket and left out, bit harsh on him. I won't rate the team selection really good. Given Africa record I'll make a call on Africa to win it. Unless Indian batsman can really make it count it's a loss for India.

Good start by the South African openers as they have managed to score 78 runs without loosing any wickets, it could be considered as a decent start. It seems that indian team management did not learnt anything from the last match, not only they benched rahane but also forced bhuvneshwar kumar to warm up the bench. This is really poor team selection and team is not looking balanced at all, South Africa has another very good chance to win this match ans series as well.

India have managed to get a wicket through Ashwin, but it does seem like it is going to be a long time before they bat again. South Africa have reached 145/1 and Markram seems to be closing in on his century. Amla looks assured at the crease as well. South African bowlers performed very well in the first test and India's batsmen will be dreading facing them again.

SA have started this test match with a strong and they are already 233 runs with just 3 wickets felt. Amla is playing at 75 and will make the century tomorrow so I think SA will be aiming to reach near 500 runs + and will try to make India all out as quickly as possible to put them a follow if possible.

Yes he missed his century bad luck, and SA is in a good position now they scored 236/3. Amla and captain are batting well I think they can make 400+ runs in 1st innings. India made few changes in the team I don't think it will work out and they win this match. NZ won by 183 runs against Pakistan in 3rd ODI. Again one more worst performance from Pakistan team.

Now SA in 250 runs and lost the fifth wicket just now. All set batsman is out now and this is the time Indian bowlers need to put pressure on SA batsman and they shouldn't allow them to settle on the screen then they can make SA all our below 350 runs otherwise SA can easily go over 400 runs. If SA scores more than 400 runs then mostly India again will lose this match.

It is just not worth taking the risk. South Africa managed to get two batsmen run out, resulting in them ending the day at 269/6. This after they were in a very strong position of 148/2. The match is evenly poised now.

Are we playing in the subcontinent?? If India manage to get a substantial first innings score, they are in with a shout, because Ashwin would be unplayable from day 3, now its all about how Indian batsman's plays in the first innings.

We cannot say its poised because still first day and already they manage 270 runs on board Du plessi is on he can bat with tale enders until end of inning and reach the target of 350 + this could be also very good score for them as Indian still need to bat very good here in these conditions

Today starts the first ODI series between Australia and England at the MCG. Its hard to say which team will win the series even though Australia is coming off a high winning the Ashes series 4-0 however their recent ODI record isn't what you would call great, winning just 1 match in their past 10 ODI games. So on that I give England a big chance at winning this first ODI and maybe even win the series, Australia will be hard to beat at home but we never know with Australia's poor recent form in ODI matches.

Good comeback by Indian bowlers in the 3rd session but still 280 is not a bad score and they might score 350+ if Du plesis doesn't get out early.

Yup.... 350+ looks likely. But if Ashwin bowls well, then India may be able to limit them to somewhere around 300, and have a chance of winning the match. But if SA scores in excess of 350, then I am afraid that India is going to lose this match as well.

It looks like Ashwin is getting assistance from the pitch as he is getting good turn and hopefully he could pick the rest of the wickets ,but the problem remains if the batsmen could not put a good total on the board,South Africa started really well but lost some quick wickets at the end of the day and they will try to put some runs on the board and if India cannot come close to their first innings score then it is difficult to see a close match in this one too.

I can say that this is a very good start from Australian team because as long as they got wickets in hand in last 20 overs they can easily score a lot of runs. I guess Australia may score around 300 runs if they don't lose few quick wickets now.

Yes this match could be draw as the wicket is quite looking good for the batting and india has very good batsmen who can bat all the day on this pitch. Still it will be very interesting to see how india will try to get out the SA tale-enders. On other hand, South African bowlers are performing extremely well and if they succeeded again to get few quick wickets then India will be under pressure to save the game and series as well.

Crossing 300 provides a psychological boost to teams. England have started well, with Roy scoring a quick fire fifty, but they have to do a lot more to win this match.

Roy could make double century as he is just 22 runs away from it and Eng need 30 more runs to win from 52 balls to spare. They have 8 wickets in hand . So now its just a formality for England to win and more importantly will Roy make double century?
