SA have started this test match with a strong and they are already 233 runs with just 3 wickets felt.  Amla is playing at 75 and will make the century tomorrow so I think SA will be aiming to reach near 500 runs + and will try to make India all out as quickly as possible to put them a follow if possible.

All set batsman is out now and this is the time Indian bowlers need to put pressure on SA batsman and they shouldn't allow them to settle on the screen then they can make SA all our below 350 runs otherwise SA can easily go over 400 runs. This pitch will crumble on day 4. The amount of turn Ashwin got on day 1 was unbelievable. Are we playing in the subcontinent?? Today starts the first ODI series between Australia and England at the MCG. Its hard to say which team will win the series even though Australia is coming off a high winning the Ashes series 4-0 however their recent ODI record isn't what you would call great, winning just 1 match in their past 10 ODI games. So on that I give England a big chance at winning this first ODI and maybe even win the series, Australia will be hard to beat at home but we never know with Australia's poor recent form in ODI matches.

It looks like Ashwin is getting assistance from the pitch as he is getting good turn and hopefully he could pick the rest of the wickets ,but the problem remains if the batsmen could not put a good total on the board,South Africa started really well but lost some quick wickets at the end of the day and they will try to put some runs on the board and if India cannot come close to their first innings score then it is difficult to see a close match in this one too.

Yes this match could be draw as the wicket is quite looking good for the batting and india has very good batsmen who can bat all the day on this pitch. Still it will be very interesting to see how india will try to get out the SA tale-enders. On other hand, South African bowlers are performing extremely well and if they succeeded again to get few quick wickets then India will be under pressure to save the game and series as well.

Remember that the first innings lasted less than 90 overs. It is going to be extremely difficult to bat for more than a day in this pitch and therefore I would say that the chances of a draw is next to zero. On top of that South Africa is having good bowlers such as Keshav Maharaj and Vernon Philander, who can be lethal in the 4th innings.

The captain is playing responsible innings he scored 85 runs not out with him Hardik is playing. now the score is 183 and they lost 5 wickets. I think if these two players play a long innings then India will be safe in this test match or else they will lose this game. if any 1 wicket down means India will not make 250 runs.
