Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon?

it's really tough to replace dollar by bitcoin, from my point of view that, the dollar has already created a trusted field, usually people in any economy have a tendency to measure everything by dollar, even every price tag is being focused by the dollar, so bitcoin must go a long way to reach the position of the dollar.

Why should USD be replaced? Bitcoin is not that user friendly for now. USD = United States Dollar, it's about a country, not only about currency.

I think the opposite. Ie bitcoin will need dollar as a measure or a comparison. Bitcoin is indeed the master of digital money with enormous capitalization.

Bitcoin is a new currencie around and even with a huge potencial wont replace anything, we do see some coins being supporting transactions made with fiat, but even knowing crypto coins market value being huge, there is no way to bitcoin replace any currencie, and when we talk dollars we are dreaming with replacing the most trusted and used currencie worldwide, when bitcoin is used by a few people just.

Yes I agree with you. There is no chance for the bitcoin to replace Dollar though the Bitcoin is a very potential currency and it will be growing more.

But, we have no reason to say that the bitcoin will replace the dollar it may take some part in the international payment transaction like people may prefer long distance transactions to be done with the Bitcoin and this will be the role of the Bitcoin. Even in countries that have legalized crypto currency, bitcoin is not equal with Fiat. It's just an alternative payment method that few people use

Yes, bitcoin and dollar are totally different things, the dollar has already gained its ground, in the everywhere dollar is using as the standard form of money, whereas, bitcoin is a newcomer in relation to the dollar, I don't think that it will not possible to replace dollar by Bitcoin very soon, bitcoin should earn more credibility and acceptability across the people so bitcoin must go a long way..

Compared to most national curencies, especially in undeveloped countries, USD is a good investment indeed, but it is so only if you for some reasons can't invest in bitcoin. Looking at btc/usd charts we can't deny that bitcoin is much better investment and in terms of investment bitcoin is replacing dollar already.

It doesn't matter whether the price of btc hits the moon and beyond. Whatever happens, the dollar would still be the dominant currency in the us and probably in mosy markets. I don't think the rise of btc will diminish the dollars grip hold over the market. It doesn't work that way

the price of bitcoin is not going to replace the Dollar but Dollar can only be the increasing number of bitcoin users. if the users of bitcoin will increase contentiously and when all the people start using bitcoin then there are more possibilities that bitcoin will replace Dollar,

No it would take long time for bitcoin to replace dollar.Bitcoin has been the global reserve currency.It is in the end span of being the global reserve currency.But still it is universally accepted and bitcoin is not universally accepted every where.Bitcoin is still not legalized in many countries.

First of all, Bitcoin is just a cryptocurrency that was invented and now being used for digital payment (Which is not new since it was invented in 2009). A lot of Digital Payment, like PayPal which was invented around 90's, were already invented before Bitcoin and it did not replace any of the flat currency like Dollar. Having to adopt in the new technology is important which is why Bitcoin is being used as an alternative digital payment. However, traditional transactions with the use of paper money or coins with a flat currency is very important and can not be replaced because these flat currencies are being managed and controlled by a central bank of a country in order to balance the inflation and the economy of the country as a whole.

First of all, it's fiat currency and not "flat currency". PayPal and bitcoin are two different things. They pretty much have a really big difference. PayPal just allowed you to use your cash in digital mode. It just makes your cash reside on the Internet. People are using it mostly because most merchants accept it too and so that users won't have to enter their card credentials every time they do a transaction. It's like a trusted party online for another trusted party (which is the bank).

Bitcoin, on the other hand, is much different than that. Bitcoin is another currency with a different concept with fiat. So basically PayPal never stood a chance to replace fiat because it's basically still fiat, just in digital form.. Bitcoin is a lot different so it has a high chance to have a different future.

currently the users of bitcoin are not too much therefore its look like so, but i am sure that then next generation is already giving more preference to online shopping and trading, and hope that this trend will continue for a long long time so we can expect that in future bitcoin can surely replace Dollar when bitcoin will become as popular as dollar is. it can only be possible when the users of bitcoin will increase more and more.
