Monero. And if you have any money left over, buy more Monero. It's the biggest thing since the original bitcoin.
I have looked into this currency a little bit, it sounds interesting but what I do not understand is how can you deanonymize something? if it can be deaninymized, wasnt it never really anonymized in the first place? Like is it that only the sender can choose if he wishes to be anonymous (kind of like when you block a call) Because if what they are saying is that if someone scams you, you can trace them, then its not anonymous...

I'm working with XMG as a longer term investment as I like its USP of making it more difficult to mine as the hash rate increases, it stops big players from mining all the coin and encourages lower hash rate so better for the environment. When it gets more popular it will get very difficult to mine which should cause a good increase in price. It has a low market cap right now, so a bit of a risk, but I only invested in trading profits and mining so far. I have BCN as a mine and trade coin due to its low price, so the trading profit is high even if the difference is by 1sat (although this market is starting to get saturated, so on the lookout for an alternative) I like to keep DOGE as there is usually a long, slow pump and dump cycle and its quite an estabilished coin I've also started investing in LIR as I like its USP of it effectively being a bankroll for a casino site, looks like quite an exciting coin.
LIR is really a more attractive coin for me, I also have invested a large amount of my money in this currency, I am earning a bigger amount of profit from this coin on weekly basis, as each week the price fluctuate from 0.000027 to 0.000016 , which is more favorable for me to double my money each week. Lir has a good future but for now ETC has a good potencial to be a second ethereum they are now increase more.. I thought this coin will not increase but right now looks like ethereum investors are convert into ETC.. I've added more LIR and ETC to my portfolio today, also I bought a lot of LSK as the price is a little low this week - hopefully it will pick up again, it has a great community. XMG has dropped a bit today but I already put my spare balance in the other three, I picked up some good buy orders in XMG but can't put more in =(

I invested some money in ETH and DCR. (1) ETH : Wide and strong support from developers and companies ( Microsoft, Ethereum Foundation, Digix, Maker, Colony, AKASHA, ROULΞTH, Plutus, REIDAO,vDice, SingularDTV, Braveno, Etheropt, otlw, Etherdelta, Swarm, Gnosis, Augur, Velocity, FreeMyVunk, RealityKeys, Ethereum Alarm Clock, ...) (2) DCR : Decred profit seems to be below 10% per month now, but it is still fine. You can earn through PoS, PoW or buy/sell. Based on https://forum.decred.org/threads/rfp-9-alternative-gui-implementation.3837/ a PoS DCR GUI wallet is available here. Some improvements, still pre-release, please report any problems. * Download and run https://github.com/decred/decred-release/releases/latest (check wiki/ docs.decred.org ) * Download and run https://github.com/root8/fsigDecredGUI/releases/latestForum: https://forum.decred.org/threads/decred-wallet-gui.1119/page-4#post-21505Please report any problems. Known bugs : * Sometimes GUI stops updating numbers, usually after some tickets bought, GUI stop / start helps. * Sometimes GUI freezes, when buying tickets, GUI stop / start helps. * When tickets bought (and probably money sent as well) from GUI, it requires the password to unlock the wallet. But only temporarily, and when the wallet is locked afterwards, it stops voting ! Unlock from commandline with walletpassphrase _passwd_ 0 !!

Food for thought on the FUD... No one here, mentioned steem - even though it's inflation. It don't matter it provides value to people that hasn't been done before - this is real innovation. Not some coin that plays pure on philosophy. These cryptos need to serve a purpose and provide real value to humans or they will never launch. I ain't a fan boy but Bitcoin and steem provide value to people by serving a roll. Ones internet gold, the other pays people to write the dumbest shit. Ether was pure speculation, they never served a pragmatic purpose to people in the real world.
I don't fully understand STEEM, despite reading quite a few articles on it so decided to steer clear of it, I can't understand how it can generate value. Seems like a very strange concept to me.

I've mostly cashed out on ETC, the markets are too crazy - so decided to take the profits most trades are up 30-50% so can't complain. Still have a very small amount left.

I would pick Gridcoin (GRC), as it is one of the more interesting coins out there. It's idea is brilliant but also easy to understand for people not in crypto before, see for example this thread that was on the frontpage of reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/Futurology/comments/4b4drk/a_currency_minted_by_doing_science/t1_d16hch5It replaces mining with doing research for scientific projects, for example to cure Ebola ( http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/research/oet1/overview.do), fold proteins ( https://boinc.bakerlab.org/) or find aliens ( http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/). From a user's point of view, he simply has to run simulations from the different projects using the BOINC software ( http://boinc.berkeley.edu/). Then the network comes to a consensus, who has contributed how much computing power to BOINC, which can be seen for example here ( http://www.gridresearchcorp.com/gridcoin/?result&t=CPID_Leaderboard). This process is decentralized among all nodes, there is no central server issuing all coins like it is for example the case with Curecoin. In some blocks this consenus is saved in the blockchain and the reward one gets when staking a block is proportional to how much research was recently done for BOINC by this researcher. The network is secured with Proof of Stake, but there is an additional (much bigger) reward depending on how much research the boinc account associated with the staking node has done. Setting it all up has been quite complicated in the past, but the pool on pool.gridcoin.co has made alle this easier and already has more than 1100 active miners/researchers ( http://pool.gridcoin.co/rankings) I also has very active development, here is the main forum: https://cryptocointalk.com/forum/464-gridcoin-grc/More information and tutorial to set it up here: www.gridcoin.us If you are interested visit our IRC: https://kiwiirc.com/client/irc.freenode.net:6667/#gridcoin

My BTC will be invested in Stratis when they hit an exchange. The reason is that I believe they will be the next thing for businesses, and they will get a hold of this market.

The market on ETC is pretty cool and the volume suddenly grow so much bigger and i dont know why people supporting the humored criminal coin(i dont know if the humor is true i dont follow this coin) and its market movement are pretty cool as i've seen it i can say the people who buy at early stage if it really earn huge bounty for now since the rise is pretty amazing.

Best altcoin of the year 2016, ethereum classic. I simply mine it with my GPU's and keep it, as I'm guessing that it has the potential to go far far away in the value. See the last 24 hours volume of ethereum classic at the exchanges, it's like double of original ethereum now.

There is well less than a dozen "coins" out there that have a real chance of success. The rest are just crap cut and paste shitcoins.
