Bakayoko is an upgrade on Matic, Chelsea will be fine. They've spent a lot of money on Rudiger & Morata too. I don't expect the loss of Matic to hit them too hard.

Before you make that assumption we will have to see how he fares first and make any decision, remember not any player is able to play in the English Premier League,  world class players have tried and failed and is he going to play with the same zeal and tenacity such as Nemanja Matic,  that remains to be seen.

Chelsea is going to face huge difficulties in the 2017-18 season. if they will be failed to recruit the replacement of Matic then they will have a gap at this position. not only that but also Chelsea needs to sign some players according to Conte, but the management is showing indifference for this purpose.
for me, Manchester city and Manchester United have formed the most strong side in the English football. so I want to see the trophy either city or United football club. on the other hand, from my observation, Arsenal will pass another league trophyless season.

I believe Chelsea already have a replacement for Nemanja Matic and that's Bakayoko and even though he is going to eventually replace the Serbian,  I don't think selling him was a very good idea, and it's indeed Chelsea needs to dabble more in the transfer market if they are to be successful this year. Conte has a lot of problems to resolve this year.

Selling Matic is a very bad decision from Chelsea, but there is still worse than that, that is selling Matic to rival clubs in the same league. Chelsea sell Matic to Manchester United, their rivals which means Chelsea even make Manchester United stronger and weaken Chelsea itself.

Matic might not works on Chelsea strategy and it works well on Manchester United. Man United recent match against West ham is really good play by Man United and Matic is playing really good on that match too. It's like the old Manchester United, let's see how good is Manchester United this season.

Yeah, it is still too early to determine which team is the strongest because we have seen 1 match only. As you said too, injuries may break all team's good performances. Imagining if Lukaku gets injury, who will replace his position as the main striker? I dont think MU has other players who have equal skills to Lukaku. It would be a bad deal if Lukaku gets injury earlier this season.

The chelsea really has a tough draw in this season's start! In the next 6 Premier League games will play against: Totthenham away, Everton, Leicester away, Arsenal and Manchester City (+ 2 matches in the Champions League). At the end of September it could already have a high gap from the top spot!

You have to consider that chelsea have 4 important absences : bakayoko, moses, pedro, and the most valuable player of the team Eden Hazard,
Consequently, they only need to recruit another defensive midfilder and another striker to replace Costa's leaving.

Absence of Diego Costa will not have too much impact on the Chelsea while the other four absences will definitely affect the overall performance of the team. Eden Hazard is the heart of the team as Barca offered him to join the club after the leasing of Neymar Jr. Arsenal has best attacking and defensive line and one of the most expensive players like Alexis Sanchez. Arsenal will win the EPL for certain.

i don't think it will be a problem if united had to lose Lukaku they still have Rashford or even Martial could fill in and it's not about if you a fuul striker or not look at Liverpool they don't have the classic Number9 but they have other players who the ones are scoring also i'm hearing that united willing to reassign Ibrahimovic or get Greizman if he decided to leave after all and yeah it should be intresting season i expect real Competetion in this one unlike the last one and defintly a new champion will be crowned we may get to see Liverpool joining the big league if they kekpt Coutinho for themselves some say it's only a matter of time that he will make the switch

Spending lots of money doesn't guarantee success at all times, especially if you dont buy the right players for the team. But with Manchester United, we are knew what their problems was season and Mourinho spent the money wisely and on the right places and it seems to be working very well. I haven't seen Manchester United play like this since the time of Alex Ferguson.
