I really enjoyed what Chelsea have showed today against Tottenham. In some moments they felt like the Premier League winner they were last season. It's good for them to lose a game they shouldn't lose once in a while because they always come back stronger, just like last season when after a loss with Arsenal they changed formation and conquered the league. Today it still wasn't the best they could do, but I saw a light of hope, meaning it won't be that easy for Manchester United to win the league. If Chelsea manages to buy the players they want this window, they have a chance of defending the title.

Also Batschuayi out please, for real. It's not about the own goal, it's about his whole approach to the game and laziness and recklessness.

defeated on the first match actually is not a big deal as long as they could do more better for next match and indeed Derby London always be difficult for both of teams but apparently this derby already belongs to Chelsea that although play at Tottenham home ground but Chelsea could manage their performance untill end of match and final results 2-1 for Chelsea

Lots of drama but a good victory for Chelsea. Tottenham controlled the ball but trailed 0-1 at half time. They would have heaved a sigh of relief after equalizing in the last 10 minutes, but unfortunately conceded another goal after that.

Man City and Everton were the two teams that won the first week without a goal, I think Man City will be in advantage in this game. Everton, who has been renewed, is getting stronger with the transfer of Sigurdsson during the week. I expect that the closing game of the week will be played on Monday night with plenty of goals.

They tried their tricks and they worked to their advantage. Spurs controlled the better part of the game but Chelsea's resilience denied them any opportunity to score. The single defensive mishap by Batshuayi almost cost them but they were lucky to come out victorious after capitalizing on Wanyama's laziness to score he winner.

Looking forward to the Man City/Everton game and I'm hoping Man City can get the win at home but Everton seem to play well against Man City at home so it won't be an easy match for them but I still think they can get the win. yeah Chelsea defended well in the game despite the clead advantage of SpursThey swa rmed the middle and got a foot on everything from passes & cross and shots .Chelsea saviours in this game were Azpilicueta and Alonso especially Alonso he was superb. Spurs weren't bad, weren't particularly good but it was fair to have a draw pt looks like Wembly course strikes again for Tottenham i  just don't think you can play that top 3 against top side sand expect to win after going down a goal. Wanyama was not in form and Lloris should easily saved the 2nd goal if he did they would taken a well deserved one point

Yup, they seem to not have their finishing down.  And I noticed that they really need Danny Rose and a good replacement for Kyle Walker at the right.  Poch went for a back three but they lack good wing backs to make their strategy effective. 

In fairness to the Spurs, they were doing well at the end of the first half, but nadda for the rest of the match.

I think Tottenham provide balanced resistance for Chelsea, but Chelsea's defense is so strong. Several times the chance tottenham can be thwarted by the blues defense.

I think its high time they forget the so called Wembley jinx and admit to their own mistakes. They were simply not good enough, Are they saying because of the Wembley jinx they are going to lose all their home games this seasons. Spurs are being found out, they've done well , relatively, due to everyone else rebuilding, but that they still can't the better of a Chelsea team missing loads of key players is striking.

Tottenham team is becoming more and more like Arsenal, which we all know they reside in the 4th place of the premier league 99% of all the times. Tottenham starts out as a favorite and then during the way they can't beat at home the likes of WBA (last year many of us here lost loads of money as Tottenham need that victory badly to stay in the fight for the title yet they lost 0-1). I exclude Tottenham from the title fight this year.
