Many players' contracts end on 30 June. So the remaining matchdays should be completed by then.

This is the schedule of Dresden:

May 17th @Hannover
May 22nd Fürth (End of quarantine)
May 26th @Bielefeld
May 29th Stuttgart
TBA @Wehen
June 12th Hamburg
June 16th @Kiel
June 21st @Sandhausen
June 28th Osnabrück

I don't see how Dresden can play Fürth/Bielefeld/Stuttgart, if you want to have level playing field. So you have at least 4 games, that additionally need to be put into June. This is still doable, but if one more team has to go into quarantine, this is all messed up again.

Don't think the season can be finished this way and the "9-round-season" will get suspended at some point with all results nullified. Bielefeld/Stuttgart will promote, Hamburg will play Paderborn in playoffs, Bundesliga will have 20 teams next season.

Could lead to some nice outright betting opportunities, but I will have to make my mind up first, what is the best approach (and check bookmaker T&C's )

I mean the whole planet is waiting for a good football game after all this months and I'm glad Bundesliga is the first league that re-take its normal schedule and in time we will go back to stadium guys, just have a little more patience. I read that Bundesliga has strict rules on the Bundesliga resume. Closed-doors stadiums, completely and clubs that allows a single viewer on stadium will be punished by DFB. It is very strict but I agree with that solution to help Bundesliga resume in the pandemic. There are many risks of second, third waves of virus outbreak and such rules help to reduce the severity of outbreaks from players to staffs, viewers, and to community later.

But the problem maybe that a few or a lot people will watch together will happens .
And i also guess it will be take some time before you can watch games in the stadium . for sure not this year and if so with restrictions.

Public Viewing? All joking aside.
But something like this can lead to public discussion.  When the first pictures of spectators who celebrating without face mask and bratwurst in hand in public are shown in the press, the whole concept will be questioned.
It will be like a test laboratory throughout Germany.

The games for the German Cup (DFB-Pokal) have also been rescheduled. The semi finals will take place on the 9th and 10th of June, while the final should be played on the 4th of July. All matches will take place behind closed doors. The German sports magazine Kicker is reporting on the topic:

I'll also think the same way, Bundesliga is the most important TBH, just how the EPL is more important to the English FA than the Championship or league one. So if the Bundesliga starts without any interruptions due to covid-19 spread or players being unsafe, then the lower German leagues can also resume

The German league is taking a real bold step, and for the sake of football and everyone's safety, I hope it all goes according to plan, less or zero infections, and nothing happens that can lead to a second stop of football(in Germany).

Only Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga are organized via the DFL. The Dritte Liga is operated under authority of DFB and thus things are a bit different there. Some teams from that league aren't too eager to restart the season, so they don't push for it, they just wanted to cancel the season and freeze the table. No relegation, Duisburg and Mannheim promote, while Unterhaching goes into playoffs for promotion. 8 teams signed a letter/petition - the 4 that wouldn't get relegated, Duisburg, Mannheim and some other clubs (probably Unterhaching amongst those).

Problem in Dritte Liga is, that most teams operate at a loss; it's really hard to survive in that league financially. Thats why there are also talks to have two Dritte Liga's, divided into North & South probably. Would lower the travelling costs, result in more derbies, thus more spectators and the teams could spend less for wages, while still being competitive.

do not think that Borussia and Leipzig could keep up with Bayern until the end of the season, Bayern will took the title, Borussia will probably finish second, and Leipzig will finish third IMO, if Leverkusen does not make the series and took them over, will be very interesting on Monday in Bremen to see how pharmacists made it over Corona crisis, could they continue their good series, since Leipzig is only four points away

When you are talking about teams not being able to play at 100% you are not just talking about one side, you are talking about the both sides. So, sure Dortmund will not be as good as they used to be before the break and yes they will play a bit slower and they will basically try to not run too much or at least save energy if they can.

However that is for both teams, so Schalke will be like that as well, they are not a bad team, there are plenty of bad teams to play against on your first game so you can get back on the level faster by beating someone 3-0 but Dortmund will get the hard out of way before they can just get in rhythm. So at the best case I see a draw at 0-0 or there is a 1-0 win for Dortmund, I do not see too much scoring going around in that game.

 It really was never close to begin with. I know that teams do pass Bayern time to time and think that they will have it this year but seriously there are so many championships of Bayern versus so little of others. Normally in other countries like lets say in premier league, you have 5-6 clubs who get it every few years or at least challange for it, or La Liga where at least Madrid and Barça are having to fight for it against each other, in Bundesliga its Bayern versus everyone else and its not even close with Bayern versus any team.

 That is why even if you go up for a minute, know that Bayern will be there to stop you, and as you can see they are leading again. This year will basically just be "lets give the cup to Bayern and be done with this, we need to find out who will go to Europe and who relegates, thats the only reason we are playing". I do not think they may even lose any games for the rest of the season for real, they can honest to god go undefeated from here on out.

That was what Schalke's fans had planned to do so too. But the board of directors at marketing sees it differently.

The soccer clubs will be held the next meeting at thursday. They want to talk about what will happend if the season will be cancelled. One Option is, that the games will be held until July or the then current table should be evaluated.

I think so too and I guess this will be the modus operandi in case of an early ending to the season. I would still promote the first two teams from 2. Bundesliga though and play next season with 20 teams.

As I mentioned earlier, this could give us some opportunities in the outright market betting. I checked some bookies and most don't have any or a lot of outright markets still up. Tipico has quite a lot of bets, the problem is, you can't really parlay them, which I would like to do to not have too high stakes. Nevertheless, there is one parlay that gives very good odds:

SC Freiburg under 40,5 league goals @8.50
Leipzig under 66,5 season points @2,90
Parlay @ 24,65

Three scenarios here:

• All 9 rounds are played according to schedule, this parlay is most likely lost then.
• The season is cancelled after some games, because it's not practicable to play under these conditions. Table after round 25 is official result from season 2019/2020. Bet is won.
• The season is cancelled after some games, table after round 25 is official result, but Tipico still takes the table after 25+X round to settle the bets. Bet is most likely won then.

Freiburg has 34 goals right now, but they have a really tough remaining schedule: @Leipzig, Werder, @Frankfurt, Leverkusen, Gladbach, @Wolfsburg, Hertha, @Bayern, Schalke. Even if maybe 5 games are played until season is cancelled, they will have a hard time scoring 7 in these games.
Leipzig has 50 points right now. Even if 5 games are finished, they can just get to 65 pionts.

I think odds of 24.65 are pretty good to take a gamble here. Problem is, I have no Tipico account But if anybody has one and some funds on it, he can try. But be prepared for Tipico to not pay you for whatever reason they might make up If the bet does not officially lose, worst scenario should be a void though.

Are there any plans for the league if one player in one team is infected? How to solve such player and such team? All the team will go into quarantine mode (in 14 days) or only the group of players have close contact with the infected player will be quarantined?

If the whole team will be quarantined, that sucks the league for sure.

I will be watching at home with a big bag of chips and having some tasty BBQ on Sunday. I doubt that many people will be able to watch the upcoming games in a pub or bar, since most countries are still on lockdown or bars and pubs haven't opened again yet. In addition to that, even if it would be cool to watch the games in a pub, I suggest everyone to stay at home and practise social distancing. We don't want a second wave, we don't want the league to be canceled again and especially we don't want more people dying.
