What are your bets for the todays Werder Bremen - Bayer 04 Leverkusen game?

Leverkusen ML, O2.5goals, one of these would've been my pick but, no bets from me today. Gonna sit back, relax and watch some proper football with a good 'ol Heineken =P

There will some exciting fixtures for the next weekend and by then a few more leagues would resumes. It feels great to have a realest sporting event back!

Yeah, next matchweek looks good, looking forward to: Gladbach vs Leverkusen and Wolfsburg vs Dortmund. And yeah. June could be the month in which the rest of the top league return. Exciting times!

Yep, it's five substitutions, but you still only have 3 slots for this. So you need to go 2-2-1 or 1-1-3 or whatever with them or you will lose the remaining ones. If you go 1-1-1, then you forfeited two more possible substitutions. They made it this way, to not give any team the possibility to run out the clock too much, by just substituting all the time in the final minutes (I think the clock should be stopped for substitutions after 80+ minutes anyway, but well, I have a lot of other changes to the rule book in my mind ).

That is right with the five substitutions, but they can only make three substitutions during the playtime. The other two substitutions can be only made during the half-time break.

Iirc Union Berlin made all of five players substitutions in second half. Like tyKiwanuka said, the substitution can be made in any minute but must be in three substitutions only. If you change your player during half time's break, then you have two remaining chances to substitute your players.


For Bremen vs Leverkusen's game, tbh I dont follow both clubs in Bundesliga. But from what I see in the table, should be a win for Leverkusen. Both team will score tho, so I predict the full time score is 1-3. Havertz would contribute for the goal either as scorer or assist provider.

For Bremen vs Leverkusen's game, tbh I dont follow both clubs in Bundesliga. But from what I see in the table, should be a win for Leverkusen. Both team will score tho, so I predict the full time score is 1-3. Havertz would contribute for the goal either as scorer or assist provider.

I went with both to score @1.7. Looks like the safest pick for me tonight. Both teams like to attack so hopefully It should be a good game with lots of goals.

Do you guys have some good streams for bundesliga or maybe some IPTV list? I had one great but it stopped working in the pause.

Well, this is my very first pick after that long break we have had. Usually I like to bet on goals but tonight, my money will be on Leverkusen -1 (AHC). Werder will be missing quite a few kew players while Bayer will be almost complete.

Some interesting stats for anyone tempted to bet on goals:

- 4/5 last Werder matches ended with 2-3 goals total
- Werder didn't score in 4/5 last matches

- 4/5 last Bayer matches ended with over 2.5 goals
- 4/5 last Bayer matches ended with both teams to score

Was it just me or did teams actually looked good? I mean I would have expected them to be gassed and exhausted and basically not play 90 minutes properly and be breathing heavily and all around just be in bad condition. However I watched the games and I really didn't see too many players who were exhausted to the level where they couldn't finish the game, they were all in prime condition and I would like to congratulate them on keeping fresh while in lockdown.

Obviously they got all the equipment they would need and obviously they had training regiment to keep them at top condition but when you are at home in lockdown, it is always easier to just skip practice and skip eating healthy and just watch movies all day eating junk food, it has to be some sort of special mindset to be always ready and that is a very cool thing to see.

Where did you find odds at 1.70? Everywhere i look it's 1.60 or lower hence i was forced to go with both teams to score and X2 at a much more acceptable odds. It's a big question mark if Werder will be able to score avg 0.72 goals per home game. lol

I also have another single, went with corners over 8.5, not much value here but i feel confident they will cross that mark rather easily.

The odds are from my local fiat bookie but to be fair actual odds are a bit lower. We have extra costs in our country related to taxes and manipulative expanses. That is why my big money bets usually go in BTC but on slow days like this and no BTC on my betting account I opted for a "fun" fiat bet and just posted the odds without doing the math.

It has often been an issue in the past, but they could always compensate by scoring a lot of goals themselves (and thus always having very entertaining matches ). This season they are not able to get anything going offensively to compensate - only Düsseldorf scored fewer goals - and thus they could very well find themselves in 2. Bundesliga next year.

According to the stats, Leverkusen has 58% posession, but feels more like 80% tbh, because Leverkusen is clearly dominating the game. I saw the first half of the match and both goals conceded by Werder Bremen can be attributed to extremely poor defending, I so much doubt they'd be able to avoid relegation if such performance should continue.

Bayer Leverkusen indeed were the better side from the get go and the 1.8+ odds they're given seemed pretty well like a gift to those back them, it's just about 15 minutes left and It's a deserved 3 point secured for Leverkusen!

yeah, Leverkusen is now two points behind M'Gladbach and one behind Leipzig, for them battle for CL is just started, and seems that they will have enough potential to finish it successfully

Took a look on the scheduled games in this month, from next Friday to the first June, there is basically 1-2 games every two days at least, impressive 
Best games imo next Saturday are Dortmund/W and Leverkusen/M' but it is scheduled at the same time... Then next Tuesday, Dortmund/Bayern and Leverkusen/W, luckily not at the same time!

Was expecting that Leverkusen will win that match as i got my bet on it too.
But that they score 4 goals in Bremen thats realy awesome as Bremen normaly is at home playing well.
For sure without Fans its not the same and Leverkuse was playing well with 3 Head scores and Bremens defense wasnt looking good.

I bet on Bremen because of the good odds and the fact that Bremen had to do anything for not going to degrade. But too bad, they can't do anything this season.

Leverkusen deserves the win!

yeah, would not bet on it, but expect good match between Leverkusen and M'Gladbach, and if Leverkusen win this one, it will be their candidature for number 3 on the table at the end, Bundesliga was interesting prior to Covid, and now is more interesting since it is the only top league that is playing at the moment, so all the matches will be watched

when looking to first matches, seems that home advantage without audience is not that important

It seems, that Werder Bremen doesn't like to stay in the 1. Bundesliga. The games are boring due to the lost spectators, but without passion this game waseven more boring.
That would be very difficult for them, to get the 16th Place
