Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread

I am playing Darmstadt HC-1 @8.20 today.

Bielefeld wins 1-0, which was ok all things considered. Darmstadt had their chances to take the lead, but they faded a bit as the game progressed. I don't think I have ever had a correct prediction in this thread, which is quite an accomplishment, albeit a negative Time for proper sports like cycling to start again soon.

I'm not so sure about yesterday but I do have a feeling that Dortmund game was rigged in a way or another and same goes for Leipzig <...>

I didn't watch the games but, Dortmund had nothing to play for, they already qualified for the next CL so being 2nd or 3rd is pretty much the same thing other than a small different in prize money by the Bundesliga. Plus, Mainz was motivated to get the 3pts no matter what as it meant a step closer to securing a place in the Bundesliga the next season.

Yeah I had the same ideas when I saw them losing that game but honestly that was something like a gift to Mainz to let them escape the relegation risk zone well partially until now. Leipzig, had high ping and they are lagging after the pause so it isn't a surprise!

Yesterday Dortmund really give some good gift to Mainz and now they are feeling good as they have some good advantage with staying in Bundesliga now next match is also very important for them and if they play a drawa against Werder Bremen then surely they are going to stay here.

An intresting match tomorrow will be Leipzig against Dortmund for sure and my bet will be for Dortmund even they lost the last game.
Also the game between Mainz and Werder Bremen will be intresting nad hope that Bremen will win that maybe.

As usual, i mean, there's always so much in play towards the end of the season, right now we have:

- Leipzig, Leverkusen, Gladbach, all in the race for  last thetwo Champions League spots.
- Wolfsburg, Hoffenheim, Freiburg and Frankfurt are still in the race for the Europa League qualification.
- Bremen, Düsseldorf and Mainz are fighting in the relegation zone.

i'm thinking of going with a big parlay tomorrow. All of these teams can't speculate about X or Y result, the game tomorrow is a must win no matter what, so i'm expecting offensive tactics and a lot of goals, corners, and yellow cards. 5-team or 6-team parlay, let's do this!!

I think i'll be watching the Mainz vs. Werder showdown tomorrow, a lot on the line for both teams. I was looking forward to bet on total booking points, as i expect the game to be chippy and intense (it would've been better if Dortmund didn't gift the home side 3pts midweek though). Slightly risky but O 55/65 points sounds plausible to me, at least one red card and few yellows in there. What's the weather forecast for tomorrow, rain, t-storms expected?

Eintracht, Wolfsbourg, Hoffenheim, M'Gladbach, Bayern, Leverkusen are supposed to win their games without much struggle tho

Best games are Dortmund vs Leipzig and Bremen vs Mainz. Odds seem better for Dortmund but the laggy Leipzig can manage to win too.
Now Bremen should win vs Mainz at any cost, even a draw shouldn't be a choice at all! Go Bremen you can do it!!
Another interesting game is Düsseldorf and Augsbourg, hard to predict too. I am supporting Augsbourg although I doubt that they will win since they don't have any motivation but for the sake that Bremen get out of the relegation zone!

I think that Paderborn players have 0 pressure 0 profit so they will not care about that game so they will be like the employee who says I am here and do nothing so it should be a historic win for M'Gladbach. Dunno but I am feeling like this. Maybe 1 or 2 players will try to impress others teams so they might be considered.

Imo being relegated doesn't give Paderborn any advantage against Mochengladbach tomorrow (not today) they have been relegated with two matches left and have only won four matches all season, they have had a very poor season to forget and Mochengladbach would ease through this one.

It's Gladbach that comes into the match with motivation and something to play for, if they win they go ahead of Leverkusen into fourth place and hope Hertha beats or holds Leverkusen to a draw, a strong finish to this campaign could see Gladbach end fourth.

Wolfsburg are no world beaters and although Schalke have been pathetic for ages, they showed some improvement recently imo. They are getting more healthy again and quality difference between these two teams is basically non-existent; Schalke is just low on confidence and they miss their fan support more than Wolfsburg does, because Wolfsburg is used to not getting huge support due to lack of fans I think Schalke will not lose today and 6+ odds for them getting all three points today look extremely tempting as well.

Do you dislike Schalke ? I do too and would like to see them in 2. Bundesliga or lower But all hate aside, don't you think that those odds are a bit low for Wolfsburg ? I don't see them having a 60%+ possiblity of winning today. It's not easy to beat Schalke at Veltins Arena, only four teams (25%) managed to get all 3 points there this season. Last home game against Leverkusen was pretty good imo and they took a point. Wolfsburg is doing good in away games (50% won), especially after the break, where they went 3-0-1. They were priced around 2.00 in their away games at Augsburg & Bremen and these odds would be more fair for todays game too. So while Wolfsburg is favourite to win, odds on Schalke have value imo

Couldn't agree more. There is absolutely no value to take Wolfsburg while I don't trust Schalke enough to throw some money on them. I am skipping this one. This is first weekend since all the Corona stuff happened that we have a lot of good games from a choice of leagues so I can be picky

While we are on the value subject there is a lot of strange odds for me today. I decided to try and exploit X2 on Dortmund @1.7. I don't remember I have ever seen so big odds on Dortmund if they are not playing against Bayern. There is no home support advantage and Werner has signed for Chelsea so he will probably not play and if he plays his head will be somewhere else. This odds look like a bargain to me. I believe Dortmund doesn't have important injury problems except for Reus but he is missing so often that this shouldn't be a big factor.

Nah I don't "hate" any team but I dislike Schalke performance in recent games. 2 points after the pause, losing easy games, I simply cannot trust them to win vs any team, I am mad maybe and I hope they will prove that I am wrong or else I will add another 0 to its modified name (Schalke 00)

Good odds today on BTTS pair on both Hertha - Bayer and Leipzig - Dortmund games. I took them combined for a total of 2.43 odds, I think there will be goals in both games.

Monchengladbach is only at 1.25 which is expected since Paderborn is bottom of the league but I dislike playing such games. Thought of adding a handicap Monchengladbach win but at the end went without it.

Somehow I feel Schalke is a good gamble today but I already placed a lot of bets so I'm skipping that one. They have to win a game eventually.

OMG Leverkusen did it again and lost there game as they normaly should win it.
Guess that was it for Werder Bremen also as they lost there match against Mainz and they should be safe now.
Schalke lost also and maybe we will see next season maybe a new Coach there.
Dortmund have done there job about Leipzig, just a few bets was right today , damn.

You sound really optimistic but I see Dusseldorf as the favourite in their game against Union Berlin. For Union the season is done, they are safe now and I am afraid that they won't give their 100%, even if it is unintentional.  And what happens when they lack these few percent in their game was visibile in the match against Hoffenheim today. This match today against Mainz was a must-win for Bremen, now they can only hope for Union.

Only one Matchweek left and here's an overview of what's going on in the league table:

• Hoffenheim and Wolfsburg qualified to Europa League (one team will go to the group stage and the other one that finishes in 7th place goes to qualifiers).

• Leverkusen and Gladbach, only one wil qualify to the Champions League, the other one will go to Europa League.
   Bayer Leverkusen qualifies to Champions League if: 1) They win and Gladbach loses.
   Borussia Mönchengladbach qualifies to Champions League if: 1) They win, 2) They draw their game, 3) If Bayer loses or draws.
  
• Mainz, Koln, Augsburg - safe from relegation.

• Werder Bremen and Dusseldorf, one will be relegated and the other one will go to the relegation play-offs.
