Who else want to see more completion in German league, klopp was a great coach taking Dortmund to win German title's,
German league is dominated by the current title holders and everyone will still bet on them to retain it come next season, so which team do you think has the chance not just to come close but be a challenge to them.

Leipzig is always a team that competes for the title.
They just don't have a lot of players in order to do rotation and rest the first line up. This is the main reason why the team's performance is falling since January and they are out of the title chase.

After Heidenheims performance today I am confident that Bremen won't get any real problems with them. But they still shouldn't make the mistake and understimate Heidenheim. Maybe Kohfeld should show his players the match Heidenheim vs Bayern as a warning where Heidenheim managed to score 4 times against Munich in the Allianz Arena and almost kicked Bayern out.

yeah, agree for both Hamburg and Nurnberg, it is to see big names struggling, but they did no do better this season, hopefully Nurnberg will stay in second league next season, not be relegated to third, but we have to wait for play-offs

regarding Bremen, i think that their job is easier with Heidenheim, but they have to show confidence like in a last match in the season, to be part of the elite next season as well

For Nürnberg I feel a bit bad. From relegating from the first league last season to now almost relegating again to the third league. I hope they manage to win their playoff games because I would miss them and I still think a club with such a long tradition should at least be part of the second Bundesliga.

As BILD (paywall) reports, Nürnberg will sack coach Keller even before the playoffs. The club didn't confirm yet, but Bild normally has very good insider infos - as shitty as they are in general. I think it would be a good move, because Keller is just going nowhere with the team and a new coach always has short-term effect. It's just these 2 games, where he has to push them. In the end it's all mental with the Nürnberg players, quality-wise they belong at the other end of the table.

I would also like them to stay in 2. Bundesliga, because what you would get from Dritte Liga instead, doesn't look any better (apart from Rostock ).

@EdenHazard indeed this league has had it’s moments, but once again it’s Bayern who’s won the league, and now I’m sincerely wishing that some other team wins the german league next season. Also Werner became the leading goal scorer for Leipzig, but I lost my respect for him because he refused to play in the upcoming champions league match for Leipzig.

Yeah that's why i was really love to bet for over goals in bundesliga, they scored a lot every weeks!

And I'm Not sure What is the motivation behind his decision to not completed the champions league journey with Leipzig as per my understanding that he could extend the contract till the champions league finished and then leave for chelsea.
Let's juts respect his decision too , we never know what's the real reason behind that.

It is understandable that they dismiss the coach in Nurnberg. They only have two chances left to stay in the 2nd Bundesliga. This is their last straw.

Nice prediction you have, and it looks fair enough. But from what I have seen in last two seasons of Bundesliga, Lewandowski is more consistent than Werner if it's about scoring.

The amount of goal Lewa scores in the first half-season of 18/19 was 10 goals and the second half was 12, while Werner scored 11 in the first half and only 5 in second half of season. In the season of 17/18, Lewa scored 15 goals in the first half-season and 14 goals in the second one, which Werner scored 9 goals in the first half and only 5 in the second half of season.

From these data in last two seasons, the amount of goal Werner able to score in the second half-season is 45-55% of the total goals he scored in the first half of season. In otherwise, the percentage Lewa has is almost 100%. It means Lewa able to score in second half-season as many as goal he has in the first half. So based on this calculation, since in the first half of current season Lewa scored 19 goals, he would likely add at least 15 goals in the end of season, so probably will be [size=14pt]34 goals[/size] in total. In the other side, with 45-55% percentage for Werner, he has scored 18 goals already in the first half-season, so he might be able to score only 9 goals, which the total goal he would has in the end of season is [size=14pt]27 goals[/size].

Since the first match of second half-season, Lewa has already scored 8 goals and Werner 6 goals. With my prediction, Lewa would be able to score another 7 goals in the remaining matches of this season, and for Werner, he might add just 3 goals.

So my conclusion is, the chance for Lewandowski to be a top scorer this season is much higher than Werner. Please don't take it as a main reference, it's just my prediction based on the goal statistic they have in the last two seasons.

So, that's why statistic is very important to predict the future. I know my prediction on Werner isn't accurate, mine was one goal less. But the point is, don't underestimate the power of data and statistic.

By departure of Werner to Stamford Bridge, hope he could score more goals there. And for Bundesliga itself, it's time to Haaland to shine and take the top scorer position in next season.

Pretty sure none of the officials of Nürnberg planned to directly promote again after last season but what happened now can really become the worst-case scenario.

So I totally understand them firing Keller. His record with the team doesn't look very impressive with 5W-8D-8L and besides the 6-0 vs Wehen it seem like he never really managed to mentally prepare the team for the relegation battle. But the timing now, around a week before the relegation playoff matches, also has it's risks. Whoever will coach the team in these next two crucial matches won't really have much time to prepare them. It probably has to be someone from inside the staff who takes over?! Did they already indicate who will be at the sideline? Mintal?

Haha that's fine mate. By scoring so many goals before the lockdown, it's normal if you predict him being the top scorer. He is still 24yo and has long journey to improve his performance. Luckily next season he will have better teammates around him.

Whoever will coach the team in these next two crucial matches won't really have much time to prepare them.

In situations like these you don't even need a proper football coach, you need some kind of a psychologist. This is a mental game and has been for Nürnberg since a few weeks and they were not up for it (like Hamburg). You need to make a clear cut; what was in the past doesn't matter no more, it's all about these two games now. Wiesinger/Mintal is ok I guess, because they have some roots in that club and probably will treat the players like friends and not on a player vs. coach basis. I would have liked a coach who is strong in motivating players (like Labbadia), but difficult contract-wise and Nürnberg can't really plan anything until they know in which division they will play next year. Would be surprised if Wiesinger/Mintal are the longterm solution though.

Well, if we are going to apply statistics to players. Haaland had 13 goals in 15 games for Dortmund. Which means if he plays all 34 games that comes to 30 goals or so per season and still under what Lewa did this season. I know people love to talk about how Haaland is a magnificent scorer and that is quite true, he really is but I think people are underestimating what Lewa does all the time, dude scored more than one goal per game I think because he played in only 31 games but had 34 goals.

So, Haaland will be the top scorer in either next season or very soon unless he is taken to another team, but let's not forget that Lewa is still the top scorer and he is out of this world, what he does should be praised a lot more than right now and I know we are sick of saying Lewa is awesome, how many more times can you say it, but say it just one more time.

Haaland started really well in Dortmund and is hard to defend due to being really fast and direct for a player of his size so he has all the physical attributes to succeed. If he improves the technical/positional side of his game, he might be almost impossible to defend against. He's an exciting new talent so it's normal that people have started making comparisons.

That's true partially. Many good players "lost" their performance once they moved from a league to another, some of them recover fast and other may take much more time or even doesn't progress at all.
CR7 in his first games and overall skill was by far better in La Liga than Serie A. +/- Neimar and Kroos, E. hazard +++ and many other names that I forgot.

Best striker probably yes. But you also have to take into account that Lewandowski, as much as any other player, is also the product of a whole team effort. If you have very good players around you, that makes you better as well. They give you assists, play good passes, drag defenders from you away etc. Put Lewandowski into Mainz team and he won't shine that much imo, though he would still be very successful because of his pure class. Otoh, put Haaland into Bayern attack and he would crush all records too

I don't know, if he is the best player in Bundesliga, since it's too hard to compare. He gets a lot of spotlight and has nice stats, because it's all about goals in football, but there are a lot of unsung heroes that do excellent work, but it won't show up in any statistics.
