You are right its really frustrating without soccer and now time for some action we can hope about Bundesliga as many positive and good news coming from Germany hopefully this could be first league to return in action even with empty stadiums but still love to watch this all.
For sure its frustrating me too that there is no games in the last weeks and it would be nice to watch them playing even there are nobody in the stadiums ! And we can place our bets again when they playing again. But if that the right thing i dont know , tomorrow we will know more after the meeting from the DFL managment Yes, the briefing will be exciting tomorrow, but due to the financial situation of some teams. I think the league will start soon and they play the season to end.

Looking forward to that and with interest what the solution will be and with what they come over ! Also when the League should be starting again and how they would handle all , playing with mask maybe ? Guess , all others looking to that forward to and it can be some milestone for other leagues too.

I think they play only with a negative test before the game, so all player can play without a fear of encounter. Maybe also the whole staff and Tv teams in the stadium? Anyone who does sport know that a playing with mask isn't possible .

Yes, but a risk remains, because they don't get tested like 5 minutes before the game and will have the result at kick-off. They will probably get tested a day or two before the game and could catch the virus afterwards. But anyway, there is no 100% with this virus. Maybe also the whole staff and Tv teams in the stadium? I heard there will be around 300 people present in the stadiums (players, staff, ballboys, security, TV people etc.) Anyone who does sport know that a playing with mask isn't possible . Correct. We had this discussion already starting here.

300 people is a good number, it's really going to be risky having more people than that, it's not what anyone imagined four months ago, but now I'll feel better if the numbers in the stadium could even be lesser than 300, so there is no risk or a spark of an outbreak due to the games which may pause the league again, and for a long time. But wouldn't the German league be leaving the other leagues in Europe behind, like if the manage to restart and finish this season, when the EPL, LA liga, Seria A and others are still waiting for better conditions to restart, it's going to be very strange, they being so far ahead of others.

If the German bundesliga only is we all can get at the earliest possible for now, I definitely wouldn't mind. It's been far too long without any football action for me. I don't think any other league would hurry to resume as well, simply cause they did so in Germany. Countries handled the virus outbreak differently and this would reflect in how quickly they can begin to see improvements. This was one of the reasons the UCL season was cancelled, as it involves clubs from different regions playing against each other, further increasing the chances of the virus spreading.

The Bavarian Minister Söder said today in his press conference that it would be good that the League come back playing specialy for the Weekends and the mental health for People. The League and Germany can efford the testings specialy for this. Also there are some few things they want to talk about how the things should be managed. I looking excited forward to the result about the DFL meeting.

I think it's fine to start Bundesliga again. When you are doing 100k+ tests per day and constantly increase that number, 20k+ additional tests over a span of several weeks really shouldn't be an issue. It's all about money in the end and weighing the options/risks. TV broadcaster has already made the fourth and last payment to DFL (and thus to the teams), so they are surely putting some pressure on. And there are lots of other contracts, that would lead to mayhem if conditions aren't met in case the season is cancelled.
Lots of teams are on life support financially imo, so any money they can make, is appreciated.
It will be a win win situation for teams and the community. In the pandemic, it is good for clubs if they can finish the season that will help them to have good chance to have a normal season next year. In turn, the finished season and next normal one can help them to secure their income. Rather than running promotions, it is good if teams spend part of their promotion funds to help communities and get some benefits back.\ Germany has done massive tests and it will be good if the government expand their total daily number of tests. I have a curious question that the nation has such statistics on percent of blood donors have virus-antibodies? I see that one in Netherlands: https://nltimes.nl/2020/04/16/3-dutch-blood-donors-covid-19-antibodies, around 3% of blood donors have antibodies, and the percent is higher at younger donors.

I have a curious question that the nation has such statistics on percent of blood donors have virus-antibodies? At the moment there is even overcapacity in regards to testing as the german health minister announced yesterday. We could do more, but less demand than supply actually, so extensive testing of Bundesliga players should be doable. I heard it costs 2.5mln Euro for Bundesliga, so no biggie too. I still think, it's good to give it a try with resuming Bundesliga, but if that experiment fails, there will be huge shitstorm of course. But I think everything will be fine health-wise and lots of people will be happy with some football going on again (including me). I didn't come across such statistics with the antibodies. Hospitals and blood donour facilities have started calling recovered people to check for antibodies, but the tests seem to give false-positives more often than not and are not yet reliable. So people might feel kind of safe, when actually they are not. And capacity-wise the system is not yet ready for some antibody-testing-tourism, to have bigger sample sizes and draw more viable conclusions.

Looks like the Bundesliga executives are ready to restart the league (1st division and 2nd division), but according to this article [1], it all comes down the Goverment's approval. Btw, the article mentions that handshakes before kick-off will not be allowed, which is a small thing most leagues implemented when the pandemic was in the early stages and we still had football action but, does anyone else thinks this is pointless? I mean, players touch each other all the time, spit and sweat is all over the pitch Anyways, question: Once the league returns, should we avoid moneyline for a few couples of weeks? Players have been innactive for a long ass time so things might feel like they just came back from the pre-season, it's gonna take some time for them to get back in shape (both physically and mentally). Such testing cost is feasible for teams because the financial benefits they can get back when Bundesliga resumes and finishes will be bigger. Costs have to be spent first and benefits will be get back months later. Players are strong guys and most of them will be fine even they get infected with the virus. There will be some cases will have severe conditions but not too many. With whole population, the CFR (case fatality ratio) for the young guys fluctuates about 0.2%. I think if we ask players that they want to resume the league and play or not, they will say yes. I didn't come across such statistics with the antibodies. Hospitals and blood donour facilities have started calling recovered people to check for antibodies, but the tests seem to give false-positives more often than not and are not yet reliable. Thanks. False positive with antibody test is always a problem. Even with Realtime PCR test, there are false positive results too because of there are some steps to prepare and treat samples before going to test them.

I think since they were doing the work out at home, etc ... won't take too much time for them to get back in shape. But, I think will start with low as 0.3 bets or even lower and wait for a few weeks to go. thanks for article btw

We might see games behind closed doors for a longer period of time. Christian Seifert, chief executive officer of the DFL just informed the Bundesliga clubs that it's likely that we will see matches behind closed doors for the first half of the upcoming season. The German newspaper Bild reported on the topic. Christian Seifert: "We've asked the clubs to plan the first part of next season also without spectators" [Bild] Source: https://twitter.com/iMiaSanMia/status/1253427310675374086

Anyways, question: Once the league returns, should we avoid moneyline for a few couples of weeks? Players have been innactive for a long ass time so things might feel like they just came back from the pre-season, it's gonna take some time for them to get back in shape (both physically and mentally). What do you guys think? yay or nay? Definitely no. It means risk and opportunity and you should always be opportunistic with betting, while managing your risk. What does that mean ? Do your due dilligence and don't jump all-in stake-wise right from the start, unless you have very good information/insight. There will be surprises and some crazy results, just like in a "normal" beginning of a season, but this should result in some nice value odds to be found as well. As always, more value is available inplay, so just watch some matches and observe. This will give you some good information on which you can probably base a live bet/trade or, if not, this information can be useful for the next round. I like beginnings of a season and also look forward to the betting markets after this crisis, because markets will be more imperfect, which is a good thing.

Also I doubt players were that inactive, and if they were all of them were so there is not like a spesific team that will suddenly get worse. I think they are not ready to play a game just yet but that includes ALL players, but for conditioning I think they are rich enough to have expensive equipment at home and they probably tried to keep themselves in shape as much as they can. Which means we are not suddenly start seeing people who run 90 minutes per game to suddenly go out of breath in a minute.
However you can check which teams are bringing which players, we don't know if some players will stay at home instead, or if someone has virus that we don't realiez, I mean depending on the rosters there could be some sort of changes but I am %99 sure that will reflect on the odds as well anyway.

Yeah, Bundesliga makes a bit more sense, I have said before that Germany wasn't having the trouble some other nations are having and if they can find a way to avoid travelling a lot (like have all teams play at one stadium for example) it would be actually fine, they do not need to travel because there will no zero viewers on the stadiums anyway so it makes no sense whose "home court" advantage it is.
Plus if they do this now, they will have a lot more time to stay at home and isolate themselves all summer, think about leagues that are not even remotely close to opening, all those players are still waiting and trying to hope they will get over with it as well while Germans will just be over with. Anyone has any idea what they will do about players who are not in Germany right now? Airlines are all closed so I don't know if any player who is not in Germany can actually come back or not.

We might see games behind closed doors for a longer period of time. Christian Seifert, chief executive officer of the DFL just informed the Bundesliga clubs that it's likely that we will see matches behind closed doors for the first half of the upcoming season. The German newspaper Bild reported on the topic. Christian Seifert: "We've asked the clubs to plan the first part of next season also without spectators" [Bild] Source: https://twitter.com/iMiaSanMia/status/1253427310675374086This is going to be not easy for any country hopefully we will be normal next year if vaccine will available otherwise this can take some more long time we will watches matches on tv instead of in stadiums.
