The draw kept Union Berlin stuck in third place with 43 points from 21 matches, losing on goal difference to Bayern Munich who top the standings. Meanwhile, Schalke is still at the bottom of the standings with 13 points from 21 matches.
Bayern Munich still occupies the first place in the standings, but do not rule out the possibility that if Borussia Dortmund continues to add goals it will make it the newest standings leader.

But Hertha seemed to be able to score 1 goal through assisted by Serdar and then executed by Lucas Tousart in the 46th minute. The score was 2-1 with Dortmund still ahead.

Having won the game and gained 43 points, Dortmund will be in the same position as Union Berlin and Bayern Munich, but we will have more interesting competitors in the race for first place if Dortmund wins the game and gets 43 points, especially considering that we usually had Bayern Munich trying to win the league and other teams not having the luck to do so, but this season we have three teams competing for it with the same points and the same situation.

The game between Borussia Dortmund vs Hertha BSC Berlin has just ended and Dortmund has won again with 4-1. Even though the result sounds like it was a clear matter and that Dortmund was the dominating team i have to say that Hertha was at least on the same level as Dortmund today. In the first half both teams were completely even but somehow Dortmund managed to go into the break with a 2-0 lead already. Then in the second half Berlin clearly was the better team in the beginning and they also scored a very fast goal. After that they had several good chances to score the equalizer but they just were not efficient enough.
I watched most of the games of Dortmund after the winter break and i have to say that they are very lucky to win all of those games. In at least 4 of those matches they were not the better team but have still won. Sooner or later that luck will run out though.

They managed to score a big win in this match which makes this very good.
With this result they managed to be in second place and it is interesting now that Union did not play well 1-3 now have the same points.
Even though at the end of the season I still believe in Bayern, it is very rare to see points close together like this in the Bundesliga from first to third position.

It was an interesting display but an expected out one today in the German bundesliga in the match between Brusia Dortmund and Herta Berlin, the host has been consistent since the return of league football after the international break, they have won all their matches including the EUFA champions league that the defeated Chelsea 1:0, so in their today match I expected them to get this result because they deserve it.

Dortmund had a very impressive performance offensively today. Especially their first goal was such a lovely one by Adeyemi. It was a classy touch by him even though the pass was not very good to him. He made a good assist right after that as well. But it was unlucky for him to get injured some time later. I hope he doesn't have anything serious because he is an important player for the starting eleven. I think Adeyemi is a really good transfer Dortmund.

You know their policy. Adeyemi is another candidate for it. If he continues to develop his game fast and impresses people then he would be another player to be signed by a big team for a huge amount of money.

Amine Adli's red card and followed by a penalty from Markus Ingvartsen 2 minutes later broke Leverkusen 1 point.
As you said, this match is quite worth watching but it's a shame that 1 point in sight must be lost carelessly in a crucial minute. With this result they failed to overtake Mainz in position and remain in 10th position.

Finally a competitive Bundesliga and seeing three teams with the same amount of points in the top is great.Of course for me the big outsider here is Union Berlin who were not able to beat the last place of the standings which is Schalke and even if Schalke is 4 games now that they don't concede any goal this is no justification for a team that supposedly fights for the title like Union Berlin does.

What I am happy about is seeing Dortmund in such an awesome form and for me they are the strongest contender to the title,their recent form is simply marvelous going from win to win which makes me think they to be the winners of the Bundesliga in the end of this season.

I was so upset that Union Berlin could not take advantage of Bayern Munich losing to Monchengladbach yesterday, i thought that Union Berlin were surely going to win today because they had seen a great opportunity to climb to 1st in the league table. Though the 0-0 draw to Schalke is not too bad, the 1 point was enough for them to move to 43 points, the same as Bayern Munich and Dortmund. The competition in the bundesliga this season is good to see, nobody can tell who will win it, Bayern are the favorites, but Union Berlin and Dortmund are showing that they too can also win it and i wish one of them does.

I think it was great, excitement came to the league. I couldn't even watch the league when Bayern opened the difference in points. Now three teams are fighting for the championship. When Bayern München lost the match, there was an opportunity for Union Berlin and Borussia Dortmund, but Union Berlin didn't use it very well. They failed to score against Schalke 04, the last of the league. Behrens and Michel didn't do what was expected of them. This week's most profitable team was Borussia Dortmund. Adeyemi, Malen, Reus and Brandt scored. The fact that 4 different names scored shows how much variety they have on offense. I hope they continue like this and stay ahead of the race until the end of the season.

With the draw against union berlin .. schalke now is 6 points away only to get out if the relegation position ... they need to keep up the good work and making these cleansheet momentum in the last 4 matches to collect 4 precious points and even more to improve the game.

they have more than 5 wins in a row in the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich should really worry, Dortmund really got what it takes to compete with them, despite Union Berlin being good as well, Dortmund has a better chance to stay consistent with the wins till the end of the season.

We will come to the end of season very soon. The current standings look so good as that proves that how competitive bundesliga right now. Berlin, Bayern, Dortmund have same points at the moment but i think that dortmund will be potentially to win the trophy. It was always getting win streak. I see no reason for dortmund not to win the title for this season.

Dortmund is even better compared with bayern which was losing against gladbach. I see that if berlin has also become very strong candidate to win bundesliga this season. The competition is very strict right now.
It's very hard to determine which club that will be winning the title very soon. I prefer to see dortmund or berlin to take the title rather than bayern.

That will give us a new impression in bundesliga.

It is not common to see no point difference between Bayern Munich and a second club in Bundesliga. Usually Dortmund are a closest club to Bayern Munich but with big point difference like 5 points or two two digit points.

In this season, Dortmund have a chance to have same points as Bayern Munich and the season has been going with a surprise that there are four other clubs are very closely to Bayern Munich as well.

It is a most interesting season of Bundesliga after many years maybe more than 20 years if I am not missing any more exciting seasons.
