Leverkusen started to do well again and they are quite far away from the relegation zone from now on. For some time I was really worried about their probability of relegating from the Bundesliga and it would have been a big disaster. Because they have a decent squad and they don't deserve such ending here. Xabi Alonso impact has been in a positive way so far.

They aren't doing better in the Bundesliga only of course. They are able to keep the balance between this league and the Europa League in a good way as well. This is good for the current season at least.

it was a little late for them to wake up in Bundesliga but at least they escaped the relegation zone, they are kinda far to make it to top 6, and they still not in a really good track, they lost matches here and there, but next season seems more promising for them, I'll definitely keep an eye on them.

Now the fight of winning the league is between Bayern Munich and Dortmund. Union berlin was not able to stand the heat of competing for the first position. The competition now is between Dortmund and Bayern Munich, if Dortmund can succeed over Bayern Munich this season it will be nice too.

Dortmund seems much more consistent compared with bayern. I would not be surprised to see that if dortmund will be dominating the league. Bayern seems back again to the right track but it's not yet consistent. What is actually needed in the football especially domestic league was the consistency from the team. As far as i can see that if bayern was not consistent. It can be seen from the last five matches that already happened with bayern. Sometime bayern's performance was going up but it needs only a very short time to go down again. Dortmund and bayern have same points as for now. It seems like that the match between bayern against dortmund gonna be a hottest match in bundesliga now. The same points achieved by both make it even better.

Union Berlin was not unable to stand the competition for the title, but was unable to win the match so that its position did not change and there was a gap in points with the two teams at the top such as Dortmund and Bayern Munich. So for this season it seems that the two big teams in the Bundesliga will have a more fierce competition, even though other teams like Union Berlin still have a chance to get the title, but that depends on every subsequent match result obtained by Dortmund and Bayern Munchen.

By now I would contradict that Union Berlin could have competed for the title. It looked like it for a while, that is true, but now they didn't lose games or points in an unlucky way. They just don't have the quality to keep their level for a whole season yet. I had my first doubt when they lost their game against Bochum 1-2. At that point Bochum was struggling and Union Berlin was the first to fall for them.

Now they couldn't win their games against Cologne and Schalke, but before that won their games against Leipzig and Wolfsburg. This back and forth usually costs you the title. If you want to compete for it, you can't make two steps back too often. That is what happened to Union Berlin.

There is very little chance for Leverkusen to qualify for the European Conference League, now they are in 9th place in the standings with 31 points, while chasing the top five positions is very difficult because they have to compete with other strong teams.

The battle for who becomes the German Bundesliga Champions at the end of the season becomes more and more interesting as the match weeks go by. But that being said, history tells us all that Bayern Munich is a more traditional winner of the German title than Borussia Dortmund and that leaves BVB with a more difficult task to do as to be crowned champions at the end of the season. Jude Bellingham the teams third captain has been very instrumental to the teams success this season and so is the very energetic and electrifying Karim Adeyemi and if Dortmund must win the league the duo must be at their best week in, week out.

That took a while though, I know it is not something everyone wants to hear but Dortmund started terribly to this season. I guess that it was definitely just an issue for the short term and they got much better and right now they are playing much better, which is a good thing for them and definitely something I can see myself and agree with.

However, we are not guaranteed to never see that bad Dortmund ever again, they may go back to how they were at the start of the year and start to lose some points as well, it is not a sure thing. I hope that they won't and I hope that they would do a lot better in the long run but I do not know if they could or not.

Freiburg seems to have lost its momentum. A draw is too little. They have not played at the level expected of them in recent weeks. The chasers are getting closer slowly  and if Freiburg does not win the next games it will be hard for them to keep place 5 or 6. They have to win their next two games. They should be able to do that against Hoffenheim. And  a win against Mainz would be important to keep them at distance.

Those time Dortmund were experiencing defeat challenges early this season if they have been doing well right from the beginning of the season it would have help them alot to get more points.  I'm still surprised to see Dortmund in this position because I know  how they started but now they are in the top.
