I don't rule out their chances of getting to that place, but they have to continue to be able to make themselves better and not lose a lot of points every week. Union Berlin have started another bad form in the Bundesliga. I must admit that I'm not surprised at all because we have seen it before in this season also.

I don't see it awkward of course because they weren't a team from which people had big expectations before the beginning of the season. They are already performing much better than the expected level. But as of now I assume the expectation level would be at top 4. The supporters must be wishing to see their team in the Champions League next time. They are still a part of the Europa League on one hand and eliminated a challenging competitor like Ajax. I don't know how much they can do more there but one thing is certain that Union Berlin are having a wonderful season anyway.

The Dortmund team is consistently playing well. I would say their performance is stable due to their good match strategy. Not that they can dominate every match. However, their overall performance has been pretty consistent, and has earned points in almost every match. I can't remember the last time I saw a Dortmund team lose. And if this performance continues, there is no doubt that they will compete with Bayern Munich for the title. I will be happy if Dortmund can break Munich's dominance and win the title.

That took a while though, I know it is not something everyone wants to hear but Dortmund started terribly to this season. I guess that it was definitely just an issue for the short term and they got much better and right now they are playing much better, which is a good thing for them and definitely something I can see myself and agree with.

However, we are not guaranteed to never see that bad Dortmund ever again, they may go back to how they were at the start of the year and start to lose some points as well, it is not a sure thing. I hope that they won't and I hope that they would do a lot better in the long run but I do not know if they could or not.

They had this great momentum to break bayern munich record for winning the bundesliga consecutively since 2013 , everyone sick of it already and dortmund failed multiple times since then to steal the title , bayern simply too strong and consistent but this time there is some vulnerabilities in bayern munich.

Dortmund should take that advantage by breaking bayern mentality in the next meet in april 1st and not to losing points until then. Though job but now or never.

I feel that this assessment of Union Berlin is too fast and too exaggerated to assume it is a bad team. That is, when Union Berlin gets a defeat and/or draw, then many people judge Union Berlin to have a bad performance and/or something like that. In fact, with Union Berlin being able to survive and compete in the top four throughout the season is also basically a good result.
So, we shouldn't be able to expect anything big with Union Berlin because even so, Union Berlin is not a team that has the ability to keep on winning in every match.

Union Berlin have really try their best for this season,  this is a team in previous season their performance was not up to what they have this season.  If Union Berlin is not able to maintain the first position,  I still respect the numbers of point they have achieved this session and their performance.

Dortmund is performing great this time around and since they began to perform great. They have the right to remain consistent in their greatness.
They are the only and top challengers of Bayern Munich for the German Bundesliga title and if given opportunity they can as well out smart Bayern this season and win the bundesliga title.
However, I will have to test the consistency of Dortmund if they will be able to win Chelsea in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League. One thing with Dortmund is that by next season they will sell Bellingham and one other key player and return to square one.

After the break they are surely at their best with now their main striker is also back which is good booster for them currently they are at 14th matches winning streak which is surely amazing stuff and if they are able to keep this momentum then surely we can expect good challenge for the Bayern Munich after few years because right now they are also having few issues which are disturbing them, and they are trying their best for defending their title which is looking challenge.

Jude Bellingham is surely right now key player for them and most chances they are going to sell him in summer with Liverpool, Real Madrid and Manchester United are the key teams even right now reports saying most chances Real Madrid is already settled this and having advantage for signing him which is good for them.

We saw a lot of goals in both games yesterday. I would like to start with the leverkusen-hertha berlin match. Leverkusen already had the advantage because they were the hosts. It must be said that they started the match fast. Leading 1-0 with a goal in minute 12, Leverkusen scored another goal 9 minutes later and closed the first half 2-0 ahead. Leverkusen continued their dominance in the second half, scoring 2 goals and conceding 1, and took 3 points with a total score of 4-1.
In the Wolfsburg-Frankfurt match, the match was actually over with the goals scored in the first half. Both teams scored two goals each in the first half and when the first half ended 2-2 with no more goals, both teams settled for a draw.

In my opinion, Borussia Dortmund will continue to compete for leadership by easily passing the Schalke barrier.  Bayern Munich will play against Augsburg.  I believe they will beat Augsburg.  Bayern and Dortmund will spend another weekend with the same score.

It would be sad to see them get relegated into the 2. Bundesliga as they have always been fun to watch and the games they played have often been a guarantee for many chances and many goals. Even though they had the advantage of being backed by an investor, I still think they did an amazing job training new and young talents and turning them into highly-coveted players. They also haven't spent double digit salaries on single players. They had some reasonable policies in place and still played great.

I don't think it is over yet but they need a serious reset and get going as fast as they can. They can win games, but right now it seems as if they forgot how they should do it. Still some time left to fix the issues. It is all about results now.

It was a good win for Leverkusen, they managed to beat their opponent with 4 goals. When we look at the scoreboard, we can see that they are still not stable and their place is not very good. If they can win all their games for a few weeks without losing points, maybe they can qualify to play in the European matches next year. Their current state is still not good enough

the difference in points to be able to enter at least the European conference League is not that big. but if they don't play consistently, as Leverkusen has shown this season. Of course, it will be difficult to catch up with him. Leverkusen didn't start the season well, dropping too many points and now I think it's too late to catch up. now that fills the top 6 of the Bundesliga standings is a team that is quite strong and consistent. Leverkusen seems to have to focus first for this season.

The start of this season is surely going to hurt them badly because right now most chances they could be not able to have any European event chance which is surely bad for them, but their current form is good with Alonso is surely doing good job and bringing back them into middle of league table is amazing stuff with win against Monaco in Europa Cup is also having good confidence booster for them because with these wins surely they are going to have better chances in next season for having better spot.

Now, we have 11 matches left in this season with for top six all teams are doing good and having good difference of points, but surprises are possible even still my personal feeling is they will be not able to have any chance for the top six because they are still not best as they need to be for the higher rank.

There is no doubt about Freiburg but here I have to add few more things about this it's not alone Freiburg if you are able to check all teams which are currently at the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th spots losing their momentum and have decline in performance as well which is surely going to hurt them with few teams which are trying their best for having better spot until end of this season can spoil them which is currently not easy but still possible Mainz and Leverkusen both are doing good job which is good sign in league table but still we have good matches which can change the table, and we can surely expect something which is unusual because soccer is game of surprises and shocks and any result is possible in any league and match.

Dortmund started the second half of the season on an impressive note. where the last 8 matches ended with a win that was able to lift Dortmund's ranking to 2nd place in the standings and equal the points with Bayern Munich. in these 8 matches dortmund was able to score 22 goals overall in those 8 matches. now, with the improved performance of dortmund becoming a serious threat to bayern munich who is the leader of the standings because these two teams scored the same points, one game they failed to win would make the point difference to 3 points.

Bayern and Dortmund are strong candidates in the title race this season as they are more efficient in keeping their hopes up unlike other teams. but behind that is union berlin who could upset these two teams if they lose their best form in the rest of the season.

As much as I admire Dortmund for what they have achieved so far this season I'm still having doubt that they can actually win the Bundesliga title. At this point in the league they need a lot of consistency and concentration. They will also be in a lot of pressure to gather the most points they can from every league match they play. Bayern Munich on the other hand are used to this type of pressure. They can be inconsistent all season but when it gets to the point that really matters, they deliver, I cant say the same for Dortmund.
I'm not saying its impossible for Dortmund to win the league, I'm only saying they need to be better than Bayern if they want to win the league. They cant afford to slip up at all because a single mistake and we will see Bayern running away with league as they usually. It would really please me to see Dortmund win the league after such a long time.
