I also think there is a fixing in this match. But I didn't talk about it because many people would call me stupid or abuse me. The main reason I think this match is fixed is because I have seen Dortmund's performance in the last 4-5 matches. But in this match, their performance was the weakest. The players looked like they didn't know what to do.
Dortmund's past record against Mainz is very good. Dortmund have won their last 4 matches against Mainz. And in such an important match they will perform badly and draw, I can't accept that.

Dortmund had every chance to win this league and they blew it. This was the perfect fairy tail ending. The perfect way to make their fans happy. Leipzig handed the league to Dortmund on a platter when they won Bayern Munich. All Dortmund needed to do was win the final match in front of thousands of their fans.
Dortmund probably has the best fanbase in Europe, they had no reason not to win this match because their fans were solidly behind them. In that kind of atmosphere when everything is on the line, thy had no excuse whatsoever.

Truth Dortmund nothing winning the league today was their own fault because they had everything set and the opportunity was even there for them since the final game was in their home in front of their fans but they lost the golden opportunity with a poor performance against Mainz a very big disappointment for a team who is yet to win the league for ten seasons now. The only reason they can give for conceding two goals before coming back to equalize is lack of seriousness in the game nothing else because truthfully their fans was already rejoicing before the game which was another thing that should have motivated them to get a cool winning in their home ground but unfortunately for them they missed the golden opportunity and Bayern Munich recorded their 11th consecutive winning in a roll.

After comfortably beating their opponents last weekend to win by 4:1 to top of the league standings because Bayern Munich had already lost in their own game, many people were expecting Borussia Dortmund to end Bayern Munich's dominance in the German Bundesliga and win the title that's eluded them since 2012.
Dortmund were playing at home so it was almost certain that with the support of their home fans they're gonna beat Mainz but little did everyone know that they'll even had to fight back from two goals down to draw the game. The pain that comes with today's failure to win the Bundesliga title won't be forgotten anytime soon by Dortmund fans

The truth is that I do not feel for Dortmund despite being a supporter of the underdogs, they seem not ready to win and it blew in their face. It was Bayern that I was criticizing yesterday earlier before the matches, not knowing that Dortmund would also disappoint itself. Well, the deed is done, they have to move past it, and another lesson has been learned that they needed to prepare better when matches are at a crucial stage like that so that they could get the trophy lifted after more than a decade.

I simply don't know what is wrong with some clubs, it should have been a do-or-die affair for them as they've really tried, they now messed up with the last match.

Now the undeserving Bayern "fans" that left the stadium 15min before the end against Leipzig can celebrate whil the loyal BVB supporters can cry. Guess the BVB stock tomorrow will drop quite a bit as well, good job BVB.

I am even surprised that despite playing at home which could have been a big advantage for Dortmund by defeating Mainz convincingly a club who lost four of their last matches unfortunately blew up that chance by playing a 2-2 draw at home thus allowing Bayern Munich that had an abysmal performance so far this season to win the league trophy, they gifted Bayern's 11th Bundesliga in a row,  it is absolutely a big disappointment to the home fans who supported the team passionately, Dortmund just like Arsenal threw away a big opportunity to win a trophy at the expense the big European money spender clubs like Man City and Bayern Munich.

I agree, don't celebrate too early if you can't deliver - Dortmund totally deserved to lose this championship and I am so glad to not have bet any money on the games yesterday. Most of my friends told me that it's a done deal and there is no way for BVB to not become champions. Being a bit more sceptical helped me to avoid a loss yesterday. It was definitely a very interesting last day and that is what it's all about for the fans. On paper BVB should have won easily against Mainz, same goes for Bayern vs Köln. It was kind of clear that Bayern wasn't going to lose and everything was in the hand from Dortmund to make it work. Being decided on the goal difference in the end is a bit sad, but also deserved for Bayern after managing to score the goal in 89th minute. At least it's not getting too dull in the Bundesliga with Bayern winning so many times in a row the championship several games before the end of the season.

It was so unexpected and emotional on my side, I was even more sad than I should be and then I had to put myself in the shoes of the players and fans and then I became more sad. The deed has already been done, they should put themselves together and wait for next season to try their luck again.
Comparing Dortmund and Arsenal is an understatement or under comparison, Dortmund case is worse than Arsenal. Assuming Arsenal's opportunity was at the last match, they wouldn't have missed it.

And no other team has been able to break Munich's dominance. Dortmund's chances of winning the title were due to Munich's erratic performance this season. You are right it was a team error, we can't blame just one player. This way if Borussia Dortmund can create more than 2 goals without penalties or they don't concede, then they will still win the match. But the fact is that they had to be 2 goals behind and that made them fail to become champions this season. You can't be so critical of the players, each of them understands the price of this defeat, it will be difficult for them to survive this, but this is a sport, there can only be one winner. my prediction is a little bit right that Bayern Munich remains the leader in this bundesliga and Dortmund failed to win the bundesliga this season even though victory was in sight but unfortunately Dortmund suffered a carelessness which ended in a draw.
and on the one hand Bayern Munich is also not going to give up just letting go of the defending bundesliga champion by putting in a strong performance and Tuchel's strategy is very good in this bundesliga putting mental pressure on Dortmund because like Dortmund's hopes will come true but it turns out that Munich strengthened its performance against Koln .

And they scored the first goal in the 69th minute. And they scored the second goal in 90+6 minutes to draw the match. Dortmund's defense was very weak in this match. You shouldn't blame Haller for missing the penalty. But I think it's more correct to judge the team as a whole. In the final match which was very decisive, the whole team should have understood what the target was. I think that the Dortmund players have instilled in them that the title is already in their hands, so they don't apply the tension of the match like a final. Behind 2-0 in the first half was clearly a heavy blow for Dortmund, they were completely unaware of the shortcomings that occurred so they were not aware of the real threat from Mainz. Dortmund players did not cooperate well in this match so they deserved a very painful punishment. It's a shame that Dortmund have to bow down and weep bitterly with their fans at Signal Iduna Park!

It's a dramatic tragedy. Dortmund was making a very bad start and missing penalty by haller was making it even badly for dortmund. I could imagine if haller will able to make the penalty to be goal and it will boost the mentality from the team but he was missing it.
