Both the teams have come the long way in the DFB Pokal so its not like a league game. Both the teams know its the final stage and whoever wins this is gonna  lift the trophy. Yeah Leipzig is in very consistent form but Frankfurt isn't a bad team either. Frankfurt have some really good players in attack who can really score and an early goal can really set things off for Leipzig in this final game.

I am with Lafu on this one. I have seen Leipzig flop up in some of the easy matches in league.

Yes, it's true that Dortmund have extraordinary supporters, but it's a shame the players don't have a winning mentality. The performance of the Frankfurt team is slightly better in the match between these two teams. Frankfurt have won 2 of the last 5 meetings. Two matches were drawn and Leipzig won one match. Moreover, if we compare the performances of these two teams in recent matches, the Leipzig team will be far ahead. Leipzig have won their last 6 matches. And so my Leipzig team seems to be the favorite against Frankfurt.

Schalke couldn't save themselves from relegating directly. They still had a chance to at least join play-out games on the final week. Getting a win against Leipzig was going to be enough to do that but they couldn't show a satisfying level of performance and lost that game as well. After watching them in the 2nd Bundesliga I thought they would be better here this time.

However we saw nothing different than Schalke in general. There was a time period they started to get better results which gave them the chance to fight for play-out before the end. But they wasted it as well.

Because you know how dominant Lewandowski was when he was wearing Bayern Munich shirt. For example, he scored 35 goals in the 2021/2022 season and pulled away from his nearest competitor by 11 goals. But now we see nobody who was able to score a lot of goals in this season. There was a tight competition for being top scorer for sure but the player with the most goals scored only 16 goals.

I wonder whether we will see a special scorer like Lewandowski again in the near future. I had big expectations from Nkunku truthfully. But his injury caused him to miss 9 league matches which was really a big hindrance for him to score more goals.
