Personally, I think Mainz have been the surprise of the season in the German Bundesliga. I guess many of us never would've predicted that they'll finish anywhere in the top four at the start of the season but with their win tonight at Borussia Monchengladbach, they're now in the third in the league standings.  

Mainz has started this season with strong performances, so we shouldn't be surprised if they win over Borussia, who are still trying to maintain their eighth place in the table. Mainz deserved to win the match.  We don't have to compare their performances because they are so different.

That is why we should not make an early prediction; you can see that your predictions was proved, because Mainz directly secured their three points against Borussia, despite the fact that Borussia gave Mainz just because they were able to lead them by possession, but as they they worked hard to lead the possession, they were expected to dominate the match, but they couldn’t because their not capable.

If we are been very honest here we will all agree to the fact that Dortmund is very like not to win all of the remaining ten games they have got left this season and so they are not even going  to have tha opportunities to become the title contender at this point because literally they aren't  even in that shape to win as much as half of the remaining games to get them that 15 points and even if they do, their chances still remain small as Munich and Leverkusen already are far ahead at the top of the table,  they may only  get a chance for qualification to the UCL next season.

I think you already gave the answer when you asked whether he is "sure". If he now answers that he is sure that Dortmund will win all games, I don't see a lot of possibilities to help you two guys. It is a lost cause in my eyes.

Those predicting Dortmund to get relegated are not seriously putting all things in consideration they just assume that because Dortmund dropped to 10th position and because their performance is not so good this season they now feel they will get relegated. Even with inconsistent performance the team is still performing better than a lot of teams and I don’t think they will be relegated this season at all. They still have hope to qualify for European competition next season if they improve their performance because they are just few points away.
