i never bought drugs with bitcoin and i think no one can buy drugs with bitcoin because there is no one can sell drugs with bitcoin so it not easy to buy drugs with bitcoin in present time because we use bitcoin for online shopping and many other things like this but that's me and i cannot say things on my behalf. bitcoin is no doubt can be used by criminal just like any other currency.

I know bitcoin can be used to buy illegal goods, because of the anonymity, but it should not be done. Thats why many normal people, who are not into cryptocurrency, believing bitcoin can be abused. That's not good for the upcoming cryptoworld.

I didnt use drugs in my whole life. Drugs is considered as illegal in the world but buying drugs using bitcoin is possible I think only in Deep Web or Dark Web. Buying drugs with bitcoin is possible but I will not do it because I'm not a drug user.

With the popularity of bitcoin I think it would already be possible even not in the deep web, there is no different with using fiat to buy drugs as it's all in the decision of a certain users, if the government will make a more strict law and they will focus on stopping this kind of illegal activity they can do it.
Bitcoin is just a tool and the government has the power so this kind of transaction can still be trace even if it will not be trace automatically.

I notice alot of our foreign bros have a rather hard line stance against "drugs" of all stripes. Don't swallow the party line, drugs arent bad mmkay drugs, or better said substances will kill your dream only if you let them. Im not supporting hard, addictive shit like meth, crack or heroin. But fungus is food, pot is a plant, and that a government that feels threatened by something so ubiquitous and harmless is some bullshit if you ask me.

In my own opinion, Not everyone will really use bitcoins to buy drugs but some of the rich people might do that, The only bad thing about that kind of transaction is bitcoin might be banned in a specific country because of the illegal transaction like this.

I understand your comment and I agree with it because I think we are way past that "bitcoin is used by criminals" or "bitcoin is used for illegal stuff" debate. But we all remember or read about the silk road black market, that was shut down in 2014. It had some impact on bitcoin at that time, and people used it to prove their concerns about using bitcoin for illegal stuff and money laundering were real.

I don't think bitcoin will have that problem again, specially because there are better options for those type of activities, like using monero or zcash, that are more advance when it comes to anonymous payments. The thing is, that although bitcoin can't really be banned, if we want big adoption, then we want people to feel safe about it. If we want' people to feel safe about it, we don't really want them to still associate BTC with illegal activities.

This is the reason why a certain country will think twice to legalize bitcoin because aside of some scam ICO, bitcoin will possibly use by illegal activities of some syndicate to smuggle drugs, ammunition and explosives that may ruin or destroy the country. Fortunately the country may regulate the ICO and may create some policy that may track the bitcoin transactions in order to protect the welfare of the people.
