Is there by any chance I am going to win this paralay? Already lost a 3.22x paralay because of the Wawrinka match. Who thought he'd loose staight 3 sets! Edit : Till now have won 4 out of 5 matches that have been played till now. But have already lost a game so the paralay is lost. Though lost the 5th game by a close margin too.

I don't know many of the players, but a 9-fold is always very difficult to win. I tried in the past, but now I limit to 3-4 matches. Surprising loss by the way from David Goffin in the Australian Open today, didn't expect him to loose against Benneteau. Probably it is was to warm for him to play at his best.

Probably it is was to warm for him to play at his best. there were two excellent eliminations: Goffin (last year he reached the quarterfinals) and Wawrinka (last year he reached the semi-finals). Now Federer has an easy draw up to the semi-finals: in the third round Gasquet, in the fourth round Fuksovic or Kicker, in the quarter-final probably Del Potro.

Can not believe we had our very first favorite of the A.O to exit the tournament so soon. Stan Wawrinka was atleast expected to make it closer to the semi finals as there is about two weeks left to go. Very bad luck for him to not put up much of a challenge for such a poor player he was defeated by.

today precious victories for Dimitrov against Rublev and Kyrgios against Tsonga both for 3-1. now there will be a great match between them in the next round. Nadal and Cilic easily win 3-0. Seppi won the marathon against Karlovic (in almost 4 hours).

I didn't see the match of Nadal, but it looks like he is in good form! Looking forward to the match of Dimitrov against Kyrgios, I think that Dimitrov is the slight favorite, but it could go either way.

I think it can go either way as well but I'm leaning more towards Kyrgios to get the win as he is in super top form right now and has the home crowd on his side which does give him the motivation to keep fighting. Could we finally see an Australian tennis player win their home Grand Slam in many years? I'm hoping so as it has been 20+ years since someone has done it. Nadal and Federer however will be hard to beat.

According to their head 2 head statistics, they played each other 3 times (on hard court) and Dimitrov won 2 of the 3 matches. However, their last match was in Brisbane (in 2018) and there Kyrgios came on top.

Now that was one epic match which deserved to be the final. I believe this match equalled the Australia Open time of the match for the Women's, that is how great of a match it truly was. I'm looking forward to tonight's match between Kyrgios and Dimitrov, can Kyrgios make it back to back wins against Dimitrov and advance through to the semi-finals. I think Kyrgios can win just like he did in Brisbane as the crowd will be on his side cheering him on which he feeds off. I know it will be an epic battle between the two and I can't wait to watch it. I'll be flicking through channels as the cricket is on as well at the same time lol.

I was waiting for the Zverev match to start but it kept getting delayed and then turned on the tv to see Halep's match was still going on and they just kept playing. There was a medical timeout for Davis because of foot craps. To make it go even longer. Zverev and Del Porto lost their matches so not a very good outing by the big name favorites to win on the men's side continues on.

Kyrgios wins ..i agree with you..He is in great shape and form... It's not that easy for him in 5 setter , mentally he gotto be very strong if he has to defeat a top 5 player . I want him to win just so we can get to see a lot of drama in the last 16. Nadal v Schwartzman , the latter is fighting well but I don't think he will be a problem for Nadal.

Hard match, both players had a chance to win. We have seen three tiebreaks and Dimitrov was more focused and won them all. I knew that match will be tight and I couldn`t decide for my favorite. Grigor is in good shape, he continue to play on the same level as he was playing at the end of the 2017 season and he is aiming for high placement on this tournament. Rafa is also playing very good. Schwartzman is kind of player that can cause some problem to opponent but not today. There was lot of talking about Spanish player injure condition before the GS but Rafa looks like he is ready to play one more finale here.

I didn't see the match of Dimitrov vs Kyrgios but it seemed to be a brilliant match! Next opponent for Dimitrov is Edmund, I don't think this will form a problem for Dimitrov. Nadal is also through to the next round, he defeated Schwartzman in 4 sets.

It was a great match however I am a little upset to see Kyrgios lose but he gave his all out there and I think he did well. Dimitrov was just simply too good on the night and can very well go all the way to winning this years Australian Open with the form he is in. Nadal had a tough 4 set match but was able to get through.

Djokovic out of the Australian Open to the young Korean Gun, Chung.H. Chung has got some impeccable shots and athleticism and has been the one to watch out for. He beat Djoker in straight sets too and has now become the first Korean to be in a Grand Slam quarterfinal. He will be facing another guy who was heavy underdog today in Tennys Sandgren who beat Thiem in 5 sets.

Now that the Australian Open is nearing its end who would you get? I would say that after the victory over Novak Djokovic of the newly debut H. Chung he got a chance to win the 2018 Australian Open, or would you rather prefer the two of the greatest rivals in tennis history which Rafael Nadal or Roger Federer, who do you think guys?

That is indeed a huge shocker for Djokovich to lose in three straight sets against the Korean, but that could be attributed to the fact that he suffered an injury in the first set and there had to be a medical timeout whiles he was being treated. He needs to recover fully before he makes any comeback into the game.

Now it's become very interesting, seriously I was shocked after Koren boy beating Djokovic in straight set, But still two legends are in the race Federer and Nadal I hope Nadal has a chance to win this trophy or else new faces may win.
