Damn, this Nadal is outstanding. He hasn't lost any set since his return. Amazing!
He is playing Barcelona final today against Tsitsipas. I think he will resume his amazing streak.

I have been watching Tsitsipas in few matches in Barcelona and I must say he impressed me with the level of play he managed throughout this tournament. This is first time I have seen him play and he has strong game, good serve with solid ground strokes.

Nadal will win this one for sure but I am hoping we will have a match. i played contra handicap on Tsitsipas (+7,5) @1.65.  

Nadal won first set easily and he is going great in second as well, leading 3:0. It seems he will it prety easily.
However, Tsitsipas' time is yet to come. I am sure we will be seeing him at the end of tournaments much in upcoming years.

Well he demolished the youngster  and sending the message. Damn it was Nadal's 11th in Barcelona Open and he is really unstoppable now. As for Tsitsipas, well he has a lot to learn but I'm sure meeting Nadal in the finals is already a "win" for him. I think this kid will win a trophy in the future, he is really talented but he needs more experience. Give him 2-5 years and I'm sure that he can stand with the big boys.

That was a great display of dominance by Nadal today and he looks in fine form leading into the French Open which is good to see as he seems to be over the injury he picked up in the Australian Open. I must say that this young kid could go far in the French Open as he does look like a fine young player that won't be a push over in the early rounds of the French Open.

There is only one god on clay and that's Nadal, his critics wrote him off, his injuries didn't deter him his resolve like a rock, he's unbeatable on clay. You are probably correct but on the other hand if I had to pick player which can hurt Nadal on this tournament it is Thiem. If he has his day he has enough power to win the match even against Nadal. I am not seeing that happening today, but I will not risk the money on Nadal at such low odds against player who can shoot trough anyone.

I am expecting a match where Thiem will be a better player in short spells of few games here and there and Nadal prevailing trough consistency after Thiem starts missing his shots.

Thiem finally broke Nadals streak and now is looking strong even in set 2. I am a big Nadal fan and man this is scary , I hope Nadal finds a way through this and come out victorious but well Thiem is playing extremely well right now so its 50-50 I guess.

Nadal lost it in the second set. I saw him rattled since the first set and was hoping for his expected comebacks in these competitions. But he did not do it.
It was a slaughter at 6-3 games in the final frame and he did not recover.
Such a shame cause he was favored to win this at his home and win another title in Spain.
I think Theim new haircut made him win it.

Just like last year , he skipped the whole clay season and its understandable because clay will drain your energy and push you to limits . It would make the next grass season difficult.

Dominic Thiem fell to the younger Zverev. So I guess what Babygun was saying is true.
It does drain on the older players like Federer and even Thiem only at 24 but you can see those long matches he had to fight for and come back from did a toll on him. And Nadal really tested him, not like Alexander who won all his matches in straight sets in this Spanish Open.

I like the French Open La Coupe des Mousquetaires and British Open championship cup.
They have something to hoist up by the winner.

This has been one of the best lead up tournaments to the French Open with Alexander Zverev and Dominic Thiem playing a great tournament and may be a great challenge for Nadal in the French Open as long as both players remain fit and healthy. I'm really looking forward to the French Open and maybe this year we could see a different winner.
