It seems that nadal and djokovic are both in a high level and i don't think anyone can stop them even alcaraz if they managed to get through their opponents on the 1/8 finals which i think they would they will face each other and in my opinion it will be a war and it will be the closest game in Roland Garos between them.

Yeah, but it will be good if Alcaraz will have to face either one of them in the quarter-finals because that will be a great match.

Norrie is out though, losing in 4 sets against Khachanov.

No problem with the 3 in today's matches, they've won in straight sets. While in the women's side, upsets continue as there are a lot of seeded ladies that have been eliminated.

I had a bet on Norrie to win today, as we know Khachanov can be unpredictable but
had a good day today.

Very exciting prospects ahead between Djokovic, Nadal and Alcaraz when they meet
in some combination.

I was chatting with herself this evening whole watching some highlights, Alcaraz has
the potential to leapfrog some established players this year if he continues his development
and performances, that must be frustrating.


On the ladies side, Fernandez progresses today and has a very good chance to get quite
far in the draw after beating Bencic today, she meets Anisimova next in round 4.

one is currently not expected, and that is Norrie to be out by Khachanov, currently really close to happen, 0:2 in sets, 2:4 in third set

Alcaraz is on track, with 1:0 in sets, but struggle in second set, could be another longer match for him in the end

Really unexpected loss from John Isner today maybe he was just tired but he cannot lose to such weak ranked players at this high level tournament. Also Norrie playing really bad and is close to getting knocked out. Djokovic and Nadal just destroying their opponents 1 by 1

That Isner vs Miralles has a lot of ups and downs, I still think he can pull it out in the 5th, but as you have said, he ran out of gas in the final set, no legs at all.

I think Djokovic, Nadal, and Alcaraz can go and win on their next matches.

Let's see if Tsitsipas will finally have a match that will not last 4-5 hours as he will go against Ymer.

I had a bet on Norrie to win today, as we know Khachanov can be unpredictable but
had a good day today.

Norrie played below his usual standard. His big aim was to reach the fourth round of a slam for the first time ever, and once again he's not made it. I wonder if there's a bit of a psychological barrier there now. Will be interesting next time he gets to a slam third round.

Yep, Djokovic should play Nadal in the quarters and Alcaraz in the semis (assuming Alcaraz beats Zverev, which he should do). The biggest obstacle to this happening might be FAA.

And yes Alcaraz is flyng up the rankings. The race is obviously more illustrative of his progress this year, he's third in a group with Nadal and Tsitsipas all on around 3.5k points. Then there's a huge gap to fourth where there's a group on around 2k points, including Medvedev and FAA.

5.8, I know that isnt always accurate but the general sentiment is
Nadal to progress but I would love to see Felix AA progressing through.

Very interesting match on todays schedule on the mens side,
Rune v Gaston. Gaston had massive crowd support ^obviously
in his 5 setter match against de Minaur earlier in the week, I didnt
see his 3 set win over Cachin but he is the last French player
remaining after Simon was beaten today by Cilic.

He is underdog for this 1.32 for Rune to 3.5 for Gaston, A bet on
Gaston is very appetising.

I think that normally Nadal should beat FAA on clay. And Nadal has been playing well this week, too. My uncertainty really comes from the fact that Nadal has just returned from injury. It's a big ask to get through round after round of a slam if you're not 100% match fit, and especially if you're managing an injury. He's looked untroubled so far, but he's not really been tested. If he gets into a long attritional match, I don't know.

I won't be betting on this one. I do think Nadal is more likely to win, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if he doesn't.

Nadal is winning that, I am sure, but there is no value in taking his win at such small odds. FAA has good enough serve to cover the handicap so maybe that could be a way to go. I could see him take a set to tie break or even take one set but not more than that.

Tsitsipas as well won in 3 straight sets, and as I have said, hopefully there will be no marathon match for him so that he can rest early.

The road is getting tough though, but I think Nadal can easily win against FAA in 3 sets.

Favorite to win the crown is still Djokovic, Alcaraz and then Nadal.

Yes, this two games are going to be closed. Rublev though is the slight favorite against Sinner, but Janik is performing good in this tournament, and maybe this could go max fifth set. So there are going to be very interesting odds, but I might go with the Over in both games. As for the top three seeds, yeah, they can go all to the next rounds without any problems.

Yes, this two games are going to be closed. Rublev though is the slight favorite against Sinner, but Janik is performing good in this tournament, and maybe this could go max fifth set. Rublev v Sinner has the potential to be very close, I would like to see Sinner progress
through and I think and IMO he is playing slightly better than Rublev, should make for
a great match.


Couple of interesting matches on the womens side today.
Fernandez faces Anisimova,
I am hoping she progresses through, she is higher ranked and is playing quite well so
far but is not the favoirite.

Also Teichmann faces Stephens today which is interesting. Teichmann is
performing well at RG and went well at Rome despatching Pliscova and Rybakina but
then got injured I thank and lost the QF there, anyway she is favourite today against
the surprise return of Stephens.

Well Fernandez won her match against Anisimova, 6-3, 4-6, 6-3, seems like a comfortable
win, she goes now to the Quarter Finals now against Trevisan. I bet on a 5.5 handicap
on Fernandez and 30 seconds later I just bet on a straight win, so all good.


Thats an interesting parlay both bets on handicap. I too have Felix AA and Khachanov
on handicaps but not on parlay, I never think to do it like that !

Auger Aliassime is giving hard fight against Nadal. There is consecutive scoring for the first three points of the set. Right now Aliassime leads the first set scoring the fourth point and the set turns 3-1, but the odds for Nadal is low stating he has the increased winning probability. Aliassime have won the last two matches in direct sets, and in this match the experience might gain importance.

looking at Nadal against FAA, it seems that we will not see Djokovic vs Nadal classic after all
or if we see it, Djokovic will win in easy three setter

Zverev is really good this season, and it will be interesting to see him against Alcaraz, maybe he can improve on Madrid easy loss

It was a very interesting match with lots of great points. I was already talking about FAA before and he can be very tricky on his day, unfortunately for him that is not so often. He has the serve and strokes to hurt anybody and he showed that today. I expected him to take a set, and first set is usually easiest to take in matches like this. That 4th set was a real surprise for me, I thought Nadal broke him already

There is a day of rest before his next so he will have time for rest and recuperation.

Even though Nadal won, I think it's a somewhat disappointing result. He was the top favorite to win the tournament, but in this match he could have just lost. It's nice that he finally won it. This match cost him a lot of energy. He was also a spectator yesterday at the Real Madrid-Liverpool match, maybe he had some celebration afterwards, because today was so difficult.
