Shame about Raducanu losing. IIRC she did have a problem with a blister vs Sloane Stephens, but it really became a major issue today. TBH I'm quite impressed with how she managed to stay in the match and adapt her play to compensate for the discomfort and still be competitive. And her attitude is very good I think. Some people will look at the result and think 'oh, she's lost in an early round again', but actually there is quite a bit more to the story (particularly as she has also only just come back from Covid). I do think she'll have a very strong 2022.

Murray vs Daniel will also be next, Andy is the favourite per ML, but I will go over 35.5 @1.91 boosted. I think this will be an extended game and will not be easy for Murray to win.

As we might have expected, Murray is struggling and is a set down against an opponent ranked #120 in the world.
The problem is not his ability, it's his recovery... a long 5-set win in the last round against a top player was always going to take it out of him, it's the same as we saw last season, a great win against a top player is almost always followed by a real struggle against a much lower ranked player.

I feel bad for Murray, but from a betting perspective there is a clear pattern.

He is down 0-2 sets already, but leading in the 3rd set, maybe he will rally in the 3rd and at least win a set. But it's going to be very difficult for him it this is going to last for a 5th set. And if ever he will win, he will have to fight the next day and we all know that as we gets old the recovery of our body is slowing down.

As for the over bet, well at least Murray needs to win this set so that you will get a win. But if Daniel wins, then the bet is lost.

Murray lost that break and it does not look good for him. Wanted to watch a  bit of that match but how when there is Medvedev - Kyrgios on at the same time? Some really interesting shots in this one, Kyrgios with his under arm serve and some great volleys, both with some strange but effective shots, good serving and even better returning. And of course Kyrgios complaining about serve clock, public, ref....you know the drill. Great watching for sure.

he still lost. He needs to re-focus on his mentality and game, he has great talent
but just wrongly applied.

Medvedev on the other hand did seriously well to beat the audience again, he really
cannot be phased by this, mentally strong. He is someone who has changed his game
and mentality and is benefiting from it.

I had him to win do thats good but my other one on Muguruza not unfortunately.

If someone was going to win against Medvedev its was Nick Kyrigos but i guess a lot of time of the field had its effect on him and his mentality. Also women tennis is so unpredictable that we should mostly stay away from betting on it . So many favorites losing sets and getting knocked out

I have a different feeling about his mentality. I still think he is prone to self destruct and that he did not do much on that front. He did however improve all parts of his game and now he is good enough that he very rarely gets into situations which can trigger the breakdown. I will not be convinced for the mental aspect until I see his match when the result and luck does not go his way. It is easy to look composed when result is in your favor and opponents do not pressure you over the limits

That is why I miss Djokovic, he is a perfect mental test for every player on the tour.

The Sonego vs Kecmanovic is already on the 4th set. Kecmanovic serve and volley is on point and Sonego has no answer on it. However, Sonego is leading the 4th set 3-1, Kecmanovic serving, I wouldn't be surprised to see it going into a gruelling 5th set. And I'm thinking that Kecmanovic might pull an upset to the 25th seed here.

I watched last 2 and a half sets of Alcaraz - Beretinni and I can't believe Italian managed to win it. It looked like Alcaraz took all the momentum on his side after loosing first 2 sets and then he fell apart in the middle of tie break. Don't get me wrong Berettini played some very nice points but than Alcaraz gifted some more.

Now watching Osaka - Anisimova, some serious hitting in this one and this could go both ways. Osaka 1 set up but I just placed a small bet on Anisimova @6.5 to try and get an upset. If Osaka wins I get 0.25 mBTC free bet on that Sportsbet promo so I am winning either way.

Now back to Osaka match, must say I am impressed by Anisimova, she is hitting the ball beautifully. I knew she had good results but this is first time I am actually watching her play. Osaka has a serve advantage and that is it. This will be a very close match.

I can feel you, I haven't watch women's tennis for a while, but it's good to see Timelord2067 making money on the ladies tournament.

The Alcaraz vs Berrettini match though, it was really very close but no surprise that Berrettini got the win at the end.

AFFS cant believe Osaka lost, I had her to win but obviously Anisimova
cam through. As per previous comments by you guys, I'm now staying clear of

Karatsev vs Mannarino is live but it's a hard game to bet, 1-1 score and both winning in a tie-break.

I'm waiting on Tsitsipas vs Paire - I bet on the underdog here as Tsitsipas doesn't look good at his last match although he won, he was extended on that game. Paire is on a 7.x odds, so I might as well take it and see how it goes. I'm speculating that it could go on a 5 setter match.

She's one of those players who is in sort of a weird situation at the moment, with her recent history of withdrawals and time away from the game. I wouldn't bet on her at all, she has the ability to beat anyone, but there's zero guarantee that it'll actually happen, due to other circumstances.

I'm now staying clear of the womens side for a while

Women's has been unpredictable for quite a while. But that does mean that there is good money to be made - if you pick the right outsider, they have a better chance of going deep in the tournament than is the case on the men's side. I'm not making money on it, but I'm sure it's possible.

Pushing it a step further with the bet on Anisimova to win outright @15 with profits from this bet.

She plays out of her skin here and she is in AO what Raducanu & Fernandez were in US Open. I still think that her next opponent Barty will be a bit much for her with all the experience and home crowd on her side but if she manages to overcome that I don't see who else can stop her. And outright pays much more than win against Barty.

I am also taking a handicap on her against Barty and forcing her till the end of tournament if she progresses further.

Was expecting 3-0 for Nadal to win in straight sets,but he won 3-1,Nadal is looking really good on AO and i think he will go really far in it and maybe knockout some of the big players. Also Karatsev just lost to Mannarino and a pretty shocking loss,Karatsev was a big favorite in this match.

I can agree to this. Medvedev is a great player but he doesn't has the same mental strength as Djokovic (and will probably never have it). I can't remember Djokovic really complaining about the public similar to what Medvedev did after his match against Kyrgios.
