Hurkacz proceed in semi-final in Halle, winning over FAA, and I like to watch him on Wimbledon, since he is the one that won last Federer match there, with 6:0 in last set (really expecting Federer to play Wimbledon once more, just to clear that last set from BIO)
Cilic, Kyrgios won today, and they could pass into next week on Wimbledon too still, after all, I decided to go with Norrie, and thinking to have bit bigger bet on Swiatek, although really do not follow women tennis, but seems as value, looking on scores

Kyrgios was considered one of the greatest talents in the world a few years ago. He was the one who should make things difficult for Nadal and Djokovic. Little has come of this, due to his mentality on the tennis court. Little appearance, or perhaps too much negative appearance. It just depends on how you look at it. He's not one of the favorites to win Wimbledon, but who knows, he could cause a sensation. In any case, with Kyrgios on the track there is always something to do, that's one thing that's for sure, haha.

I don't follow women tennis much so i don't know how good swiatek is on grass but considering her latest performance she will be hugely favourite and i don't see anyone able to stop her, as for mens i don't think its a good idea for federer to comeback at wimbeldon he did not compete in a long time so i am afraid he will lose in a bad way since he's been out of the high level for a long time.

Swiatek is more to clay, but this year she's been outstanding and maybe she'll be successful on grass too, and I like how she's performed this year, overtaking some of the other seeds who were predicted to dominate but were the exact opposite like Sabalenka. Swiatek's chance to win Wimbledon this year is huge, especially the defending champion Barty prefers to retire from tennis, or another young tennis player will be her competitor, Coco Gauff.

Yes, we have discussed that Swiatek is like the second coming of Williams, as she is a well developed player, clay or any fast surfaces, she can excel. She's has a unbeaten streak that we don't know who is going to break it. She is on a different level right now. Speaking of Wimbledon, I just check the outright odds and still Djokovic as the outstanding favorite at 1.80 followed by Alcaraz and Nadal at 7.50.

Hurcacz v Kyrgios in one of the semi finals today, Kyrgios is favourite but I find it difficult to back him, I might instead do a handicap bet on Hurcacz. I feel as the stakes mount so too does the pressure on Kyrgios and the question arises, can he handle it? I'm also thinking over at Queens Krajinovic plays Cilic, and another handicap on Krajinovic, Cilic always seems to make hard work of winning
Looking at the semis on the womens side in both Berlin Bencic v Sakkari Jabeur v Gauff and Birmingham Zhang v Cirstea Haddad Maia v Halep Its even more difficult to pick winners IMO, very close match ups. I'm sure they are delighted Swiatek is not plating !

When i saw Kyrgios for the first time and i was thinking he was gonna be no1 for sure in the coming years. But with his head he will never be in top 10 and that is a shame when you have a talent that can be one of the best in history. I still think he can win some tournaments but never to do something big

''Four-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka has withdrawn from Wimbledon with an Achilles injury.''''The 24-year-old previously said she was "unsure" if she would play Wimbledon due to its lack of ranking points.''Speaking after her first-round French Open exit, Osaka said she was "not 100% sure" she would appear at the SW19 tournament. "The intention of this measure was good, but the execution is all over the place," Osaka said in May of the decision to strip Wimbledon of points. "I feel like if I play Wimbledon without points, it's more like an exhibition. I know this isn't true, right? But my brain just like feels that way. "I would love to go, just to get some experience on the grass court, but at the same time I'm the type of player that gets motivated by seeing my ranking go up."Source: https://www.bbc.com/sport/tennis/61852544So, the official reason is an injury, but it seems that Osaka didn't have much desire to play at Wimbledon even before the injury. Too bad, I sincerely hoped that Wimbledon could be a tournament where her return to the top of women's tennis would begin. How many more tennis players will eventually cancel Wimbledon? No matter how this year's Wimbledon ends, it will obviously not be the strongest tournament due to the absence of the best tennis players, what is a great pity for tennis fans.

^Hopes fading for Osaka, but I already stopped looking at her as an option for a while now, ever since the tears came. Feel bad, but yeah, better she just get back regulated before picking up a racquet again for competition.
^^ Kyrgios yeah. I don't know, I keep getting fooled by people, Tsitsi fooled me most recently, now I have no particular favourite darkhorse. Speaking of... just had a bit on enjoyment on ATP, thought Medvedev had a small scare, when he lost the advantage at 3 games each in first set... but after he got the tiebreaker, the outcome was a given.

It is too bad for Osaka as I liked watching her play and for one moment, she really dominated the field and won 4 grand slams. I don't think all hope is lost yet, if she can find some good mental health coaches, it can do wonders for her and she may start winning again grand slams. She still got the talent.

Yea I agree, Osaka is only 24, she has plenty of time to get back to winning ways. It is a pity that she misses Wimbledon and TBH she has been off the radar for a good number of weeks while everyone talks about Swiatek. ^^ Kyrgios yeah. Gea I stopped backing him a while ago, today the bet on Hurkacz paid off, he beat Nick in 3 sets, I didnt see it but I'm sure there was plenty of giving out and the odd raquet smash too

Kyrgios and Tsitsipas are for me two players now that need to be avoided in later rounds of tournaments. They just cannot win a tournament for Kyrgios max is semi final and for Tsitsipas max is final. Plus Kyrgios is a hot head so he should be avoided most if the times

so, second week into grass season, and second final for Berrettini, he is setting his candidacy for good result at Wimbledon Medvedev is also in second final, and he lost last week, Hurkacz is certainly not an easy one to beat, will be interesting
Krajinovic reached final with Berrettini with a win over Cilic, a bit surprise for me, but key points were on Filip side, and Cilic did not worked out break in second set first gem

It was a strange match for Cilic on serve, he had about 15 aces so you think he must have served good but then you realize he also had just about 50% of first serves and bad conversion on second serve. Did not expect Krajinovic to do well on grass but he was very solid this week. Berrettini is winning and what is even more important he is getting better and better with each match. He was a bit shaky last week but it already looks much better this week. As it stand, top favorite to take Wimbledon title. Not sure why Djokovic isn't playing anywhere? He needs some match on grass for sure before Wimbledon and he will not have any. This makes me think he is maybe quietly nursing some injury.

agree, this could be it, although Djokovic is as injury prone, as one can be RG loss was not good on him, and it is probably mental strength that he is keeping, not really sure, but as I remember he started grass season on Wimbledon last season as well one more loss on some small tournament would not do him any good, and it is probably hardest to win in a row on grass surface, since one/two mistake can put you down against good server

Djokovic has of course had a strange year because he refused to be vaccinated. Was an extremely bad example for the rest of the world. What really annoyed me is that he thought he could still participate in everything. I remember the Australian Prime Minister personally expelling him from the country, and rightly so. He has not made himself popular with tennis fans, except from his own country. Players like Djokovic are of course so good that they need little preparation. Maybe he just has a good training schedule with high-level opponents.

I personally don't agree with the things you said as a person who took three doses of Biontech jab. It should have been up to the will of individuals whether to take a jab or not. Australia would have been rightful if they hadn't accepted Djokovic to the country in the first place. But I think that it was wrong to deport Djokovic because of public reaction after saying to him that there was no problem about coming.

They let several more players in on the same basis and they already played matches and nobody had problems with that until "high profile anti vaxer" came. Then they all got deported, proving once again it is all about images and actually nobody cares if it isn't public. One of the times that fame worked against famous person, usually they get better treatment than us mortals

@aoluain at this stage the only thing that'll surprise me about him is if he actually ends a game (win or lose) without an incident. Think sometimes he's even doing it to live up to his reputation
@Joca97 Tsitsi max final agree, Kyrgios I don't even rate him as a final 4.
@Trofo yeah the Djoko case was always weird, but the world's so weird now with everyone trying to make some kind of reputation for themself. Think that one was a cut-and-dried "win votes" move though. Aussies didn't want him in and they saw it as a chance to win popularity.

If you need one risky game for today, I would go for Hurkacz to win 2:0, should be good odds. I have him to cover handicap and as ML @3.0. Never liked Medvedev much and it seems to me he is quite vulnerable and easy to loose nerves at this time of season. In the other final I feel like Berrettini should have it done in 2 tight sets, so I rather took him as 2:0 then handicap.
