How are chances this week for an announcement concerning the release date?

How are chances this week for an announcement concerning the release date?
I'm testing 0.9.21 now, if no bugs found I'll publish it and then I'll see how good the testing is. |

Totally agree! But I think most of IOTA buyers are waiting for GUI release and transfer of their IOTAs from sellers like _mr_e and cryptoknightt |

You can visit the speculation thread ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1440112.0 ), there are some sellers there. Average price was around 1 BTC = 100 Giga IOTA (100billion), but some sellers give IOTA even below that price This coin is in the last testing phases, I guess it won't take long to hit exchanges, but personally I'd like the Foundation to be established first (through donations  ). |

I made a proposal recently on improving the scaling of Transactions as Proof of Stake with a DAG instead of a blockchain. Someone pointed me to DAGCoin, which led me on to Iota, both of which are clearly related. IOTA was initiated first, then Sergio Demian Lerner published his blogpost about DAGCoin which was similar and he's been supportive of IOTA since then. There'll be more news around Sergio's "involvement" later. |

A factual question: I remember reading that IoTA got 1,337BTC's worth of buys, of which ~850 was in Bitcoin itself. So here's the question: did those funds get released to the devs?

I'm not sure how to interpret this question? Did the money we raised go to us in the way we said it would? Yes. Plus of course VAT taxes, since we operate in the real world and don't try to evade taxes or other schemes. |
