When can we list IOTA on exchanges?

in near future Smiley just let  devs do their job and create the working product for IOT

2 weeks ™

Any official announcement about the exchange listing of IOTA?

nope, a lot of technical issues were discussed lately. I don't expect an exchange launch soon, even if they said 3-4 weeks "wildguess".
What technical issues were discussed? Can you give an example?

I suggest you to join the slack for more information on technical details. One example would be the discussion about the removal of automatic peer discovery due to technical limitations, security reasons etc.

Yes, though there will be a light wallet soon that will be easy to use.

When is 1.0.6 coming?

For advandced users it's already here, the GUI will follow very soon I guess.

At all: Prepare to get some IP's of your neighbors again!

In 1.0.5. click on "show peers". Write down the IP's with the lowest number next to "transactions received" (it's called something like that).
You will need it in 1.0.6

My peers were all "null" so here's what I did: I moved all my .iri Files out of the db folder and started the 1.0.5 GUI again, waited a minute, then clicked "show peers" and saw a few good nodes. Restarted IRI after a while and saw some new ones. Rinse and repeated until I got around 14 really good peers (You'll need 7). After all was done I moved the .iri files back in the right place again.

Will 1.0.5 continue to be functional or is this kind of "hard fork" with 1.0.6 being mandatory to use after a certain milestone?

It's not a hard fork, but it's better to upgrade to 1.0.6.

Come-from-Beyond [12:06 PM]
@here We need the most of the nodes to upgrade to 1.0.6. Then I'll release 1.0.7.

[12:07]
A lot of nodes are overloaded by traffic from older versions of IRI

[12:07]
Upgrading to 1.0.6 for you is not enough, the others have to do it too
