Celtics acted like they are a great three point team and when Miami threw them all the zone defense they failed to score as well as they have so far in the season and playoffs because they played against man to man or switch defense, usually these days switch is easier because everyone is similar in height except maybe centers and point guards but even they do end up switching as well, however when you play zone defense things get a lot harder and that is where Celtics got confused.

This game they tried more inside and that resulted with them scoring a lot easier as well, plus they played a lot harder defense as well, it was quite rigid and they really didn't budge so it was hard for Miami to score as easily. Hopefully this series gets more interesting, I do not support both teams so it is fun to watch them play no matter who wins or loses.

Kemba penetrating and so is Tatum. They should do that most of the time.
Switch Bam to guard them and use their speed to make a score in the paint.

I just hope they can make it better since Spoelstra could have made a strategy for that already.
That 4th quarter looks like he already figured it out. They almost got near the lead of the Celtics.

Basketball is not played on paper, we should have already figured this out already this year with how clippers lost and how miami blowing out all expectations from them and almost at the finals now, also the biggest comeback ever was 73-9 record breaking team to actually go ahead and lose a 3-1 lead on finals, that was literally something to show you that how basketball can't be played on paper. So at the end of the day Lakers could be looking great and by all means they are great as well but when it comes down to basketball we can't know everything, we just have to watch and see what happens because maybe Lakers will destroy Denver and beat them 4-0 sweep, or maybe it will go to 7 games nobody knows until it happens.

All of those possibilities is likely with basketball, NBA or any league and sports that we know. There could be great comebacks, redeeming from loss after to loss through winning. It's all about how they are playing the game and that's why fans are hype talking about it.
Yes, you may say that we can only watch and look after what's next to it but being a fan of it, we can't stop ourselves talking about possibilities and potentials of the players and upcoming matches, nothing stops us from being like that.

Honestly I'm not expecting a 4-0 here, when we think a lot that it will happen, it would normally not because most of the time we are wrong. Denver might have been dominated in the game 1 but it doesn't mean they will be sweep easily, there's still 3 games to be played or the Lakers has to win to sweep the team and I think Denver has proven enough they are better than the Blazers this playoffs which beat the Lakers once.

That's fine if you're not expecting a sweep for this matchup. Denver Nuggets isn't an easy team to beat but as we know, Lakers have been on fire since Bron has been transferred to the team and he's very pushy to take this season's ring and championship.
In the end of it, it's still both teams will show us greater performance as we're getting nearer to the finals for this season's league.

There would be adjustments for sure yet those argumentation are just part of letting your anger and frustration on the outcome of the game which I can say its normal and can really happen anytime on any team specially now they are on the hunt for that Finals spot.

Everyone is rooting for Miami to have some sweep game but I was surprised about penetration on offense from Celtics from Kemba and Tatum which on the same perspective above
but they shouldn't let their guard down on next game yet Miami can make adjustments and which it wouldn't make it more easier.

I think it is not kind of an argument but a vent of frustration. They know they can win, they know they can take the Miami Heat on but they aren't playing like it. Boston Celtics should keep on pushing especially to this kind of team that as you've said, that they kept on rallying, and if Boston can't answer those, they're in big trouble. The fact that they gave a great game last game means they can still win the series.

Lakers just took game 2 from Denver. Anthony Davis' super  3-point clutch shot was just right hooped in the hole before the the clock ends. Wasn't expecting that he will actually make it.

I don't think even the Nuggets expected him to take that shot. I didn't watch the post interview so I'm not sure if that last play was designed for him. If so, it was bold of the Laker's coach to take that risk but when you consider the fact that it'll be hard to block Davis due to his height and his ability to shoot from the outside, maybe it wasn't a bad idea even if the shot didn't go in.

Tough luck for the Nuggets but we know what this team is all about by now. They'll grind it out each game to get the W and maybe the series.

@Yogee. Casual fan's observation here. I reckon that it was the Heat not giving their 100% for this game in order to give 100% on game 4 and 5.

+6.5 for the Heat next will be a good bet hehehehe.

Easing up in game 3 to prepare for the next game does not makes sense from a player's point of view. Why waste energy?
If you are talking from a gambling perspective, maybe there's some truth to that. I don't think we need to go deeper hehe.

I was only speculating that might be the spread after the result of game 3 hehe. The sportsbooks predicted it similar to games 1 and 2, however. The Heat might be back to their old self after that exhale.

In my views and opinion. That play was designed for AD because :
1. He scored the last 10 points down the stretch.
2. Heat check? Yes he's on fire and the concentration and momentum was there.
3. If AD will move towards the paint, it would be difficult because Jokic was there and Plumlee is guarding him. So, what's the easiest shot selection? Yeah behind the arc.
4. As you can see from the replay, every Laker hasn't moving that much even LeBron wasn't moving. Noticed Green cutting towards the paint? That's to split the defender.
Bottom line, the blame will be on Plumlee for not keeping his body to AD that leads to an easy inbound pass and a wide open jumper. Jokic's block was late and doesn't bother AD's momentum.

Nice analysis there, I'm impressed. Nevertheless, it is too late for blaming and I don't think teammates will do that frankly on him. The good thing was they put the Lakers a good fight and some tension in all they could. Just disappointed on that LeBron plays during the last quarter it was way a close call for a defeat with that turnovers he gave.

WIth Lakers 16-point lead with 8:12 left in the third quarter, we did not think it would take the last second 3-point shot from AD to win the game.
Now we must wait for Wednesady for game 3 and Thursday for game 4 for celtics/heat.

Yeah, I agree! And one more thing I noticed 'bout them is that, they seemed very composed, I mean, they look more calm (at least for me) compared to those other teams out there. And, exactly my thoughts for Murray, however he doesn't seem to have a grip on the ball to throw it on the other side of the court, but still great effort for that man. Anyway, also huge props to Jokic, it was him who almost make Lakers take that L  . These two big guys are makin' WCF even more exciting.

Game 3 -4 will be possible for Nuggets to win but Lakers will not allow more than 2 wins in this series. They should relax for a moment in this advantage.

Still close in my opinion, the Nuggets have the change to steal game 2 from the Lakers, they were down but was able to get back with Jokic's what 11 straight points in the crucial minutes, if not for the 3 by Davis they got the game 2 and 1-1 apiece. So it is not clear year for the Lakers but of course they have the advantage already.

ATM, celtics and heat too is a good match after their series andnl they will go against lakers then Good Luck to teams who will compete against strong team Lakers.

I think the East is much difficult to predict though, they are lock-in and this series could extend to a game 7, (hope so).
