I still think that Dallas doesn't have what it takes to beat Clippers on a 7 game series but they at least showed that when Doncic plays out of this world and PG13 plays horribly, they could beat them, but that is not going to be every single game.

Also I would like to point out that Kawhi has been playing amazing this series, he has always been a great player and since I am a spurs fan I know how awesome dude is and yet even with that much of a high standard there is for him, dude still manages to play better than you expect him to play, every time I watch him play (first of all I am sad that spurs had to let him go) I realize how much he plays, he is literally everywhere at all times and does so much on the court, he has this limitless energy and that is a big part why he is a superstar.

As expected, Clippers will take Game 5 so I decided to skip my bet for Mavericks. As I mentioned before, I will instead put it on Game 6. Probably, the last time I will bet for Mavericks Moneyline unless they will upset the Clippers in Series.

Just now, Milwaukee Bucks is boycotting their Game 5 match against the Orlando Magic to protest the shooting of Jacob Blake, a black man shot in the back by police officers in Kenosha last Sunday. NBA teams are heavily protesting racial injustice since the death of George Floyd. And with the new case, some NBA racial advocates are now outrage.

NBA officials inform the Bucks of the possible consequences if they won't play a game. Houston and Thunders are also reported to do the same on which as I'm typing this, only around an hour before their tip-off.

I'm surprised by this news as well and ignorant of the cause. But after searching, it's to protest the police shooting of Jacob Blake.

Before, I thought that it's just for this day's game but it's crazy to think that the petition wants it for the whole season, that's just nuts.

From the updates that I've read, there will be a voting system and so far the majority wants to play. It is unofficial but I'm looking closely to the news.

I think the same reason they made a protest prior to the resumption of the season, it was George Floyd, that's why we are seeing the logo black lives matter, and now it happen again, so they got really affected and they can't do the protest outside as they are in the bubble, so probably their way of protesting is stop the season. I've got mixed emotions regarding LeBron's decisions and actions but I'm pretty sure those were not the right ones to do. They can do something better than that. This may send some message to other people but this will also provide some negative signals to the other folks around the globe. Honestly, if they'll cancel the remaining season because of this, all of the efforts by the players, management, organizers and everyone who's involved will just go to waste.

Though I am also looking forward for Klay to pass Lebron in the 2021 playoffs. This will be fun to watch friendly rivalry.

Agree with you, if they will make this every time there's an incident like this involving the black, I guess it's a threat to the NBA organization.

I know most of the NBA players are black the owners are just supporting, but this kind of protest IMO is not effective, this hasn't affect the fans in certain  countries but all over the world, we love NBA and yet suddenly it will be stop.

Yeah! Apparently, it was these two LA team (Lakers and Clippers) who was against the idea of finishing the playoffs. Read more here. Dunno what differences they would make from cancelling the whole game into this issue except from voicing out again  . And it seems it will last even longer because almost all of them are in favor of this boycott stuff.

As a side note I wonder how this will affect viewership of professional sports.  Aside from social issues people have been getting fed up with some of the prima dona stuff these athletes now exist with.  Miss the old days of nba when each team hated each other team.  The 80s and 90s nba between the bulls/knicks/celts/detroit/pacers..those teams hated each other.  Made the sport more fun the watch at least for me.

Agree. They should still do what they can to entertain people.
This issue of racism is already a bad event. The very least they could do is offer their skills to make people happy while there are bad things happening out there.
Pandemic and divided country.
Where else could they get a positive approach if they will stop this? Somehow NBA is still giving hope. Players in the NBA are black and white and they can show peace even with what color they have.

NBA already proved they can take care of them. To continue the game will be a great gift to everyone.
